1 I

INCEPTION

I was walking along the stream; birds chirping, leaves rustling, the running water and the footsteps I make are the only sounds that I am hearing. I stopped when I saw a flower that's just a few steps from me. I looked around me and noticed that there are no other plants in the area aside from bushes and trees; it was the only plant that blossomed with flowers that I could see.

Rhododendron

I know it was a Rhododendron because my mother loves taking care of flowers and even bought books about them. I knelt to the ground and was about to touch its red petals at the very least when a heard a familiar sound from a distance; a hiss. I turned to my right where I heard it coming from and coming from behind a tree, a white snake greeted me. I can sense danger from it but I got this intuition that it won't do no harm to me. It moved closer to where I was now standing and stopped a few inches away from me.

I found myself screaming at the top of my lungs as I was falling to a seemingly endless pit.

I found myself woken from a dream that I had and can feel the trembling of my body as sweat from my forehead keeps on running down my face. I was about to wipe it off when I noticed that my arms are tied and so as my feet.

I tried to stay calm and remember what happened but I can't seem to recall anything!

I looked around and to my surprise, I saw my friends scattered across the room and probably some behind me as well. I could only see Haily, West, Jane and Marille. Where are we? The room was too dark to see anything more than just us and the walls that surrounds us. The only thing that illuminated it was a single light bulb just above me and it weren't even that bright. My friends were also in the same state as me and not even a minute had passed when I saw Westeria moved her head and opened her eyes slowly.

When the situation probably sunked into her, I saw how tears started to form from her eyes and tremble in fear. I couldn't blame her since I don't even have a single clue to what happened. I couldn't think clearly due to the situation we are in.

We all look like a mess

Minutes had passed and the next person to wake up was Haily. She scanned the room and looked at us; unlike West, she remained calm and tried to analyse our situation but ended up sighing in disbelief. We all looked at Jane when we heard her moan with agony. Seems like she's aching from some sort of pain, probably from the ropes that are tying us down to the seats we are in.

"What the- where the heck are we!?" Jane screamed as soon as she opened her eyes.

"Calm down, we will get some answers as soon as everyone wakes up and once we get out of this situation" I answered her, seemingly calm.

She nodded her head and remained silent. We are in a situation where we can't seem to recall a single thing. Moments had passed when all of us are finally awake. They were all figuring out how we are gonna escape from the situation we are in while I was staring at the wall in front of me.

Something just seems off.

It was just above Haily when the light suddenly turned off and I even heard Danny screamed in shock. The wall I was staring at suddenly opened a small portion and revealed a monitor showing a blank screen. I know at this very moment, everyone was anticipating something from it.

A message was flashed on the screen saying "Contemporarily Pinning a Gladiolus"

"Is it a riddle?" I heard Hypo asked from behind me.

"Contemporarily...Pinning a...Gladiolus?" I uttered

Haily looked at me intently, then asked "You have an idea, don't you?" and I nodded as an answer

"Contemporarily Pinning a Gladiolus...Us" I said and then suddenly, the ropes loosened up and we immediately took it off and stood. I finally was able to go near them and we huddled in front of the screen that has now a message that was read by West.

"Open"

We then turned to the back side of the room when the light finally turned back on and another part of the wall opened again; revealing a shelf filled with random things such as bottles and blades.

We went closer to it and just stared at the objects. I grabbed the bottle in front of me and opened it to smell it. It had no scent so I tried to taste it, Jane tried to stop me but we had no other choice.

"Water" it's probably safe to drink this.

There were eight bottles in total so we each grabbed one and then I took the two bags hanging at the right side of the shelf and handed it to Marille and Danny. "We need to bring some items, we don't know what situation we are in and what we're gonna run ourselves into" I said as they nodded their heads.

We put the bottles inside both bags, containing four bottles each and then I grabbed the three machete and handed the two to Haily and Jane.

We grabbed the things that we would be able to use and when we were done, a door opened and without second thoughts about it, we stormed outside the room.
