7 Chapter VI

In about four hours, I caught the scent of water, and we came across a neat little stream, carefully encircled by some stones. It looks like there's a settlement nearby. The water was sweet and refreshing, I splashed my face and decided to finish working on my spear, taking a seat on top of the nearest stone. First I cleared away the bark, then I caught FreakHead again and forced him to bite off another piece off so now it was of a perfect five-foot length. After this procedure, he tried to jump me again waving his tail around like crazy, but I caught my pet midair and sent him flying into distant tree foliage with a hard kick. He came back very pleased with himself carrying some dead bird. How little do some peopl…Some things need to be happy.

Another three hours were spent on resharpening the pointy end into a trihedral. Then, using my claws, I scratched out a few words in Latin: Confortare and Abilitates(Courage and modification). I placed the slightly curved, hardly sharpened spear with Latin incantations and fixated it on the bottom of a stream with a rock. Time to scout the area: I started to walk around the stream in an enlarging spiral. Three hours of searching didn't uncover any traces of human activity whatsoever. Not a trail, nor any signs of a campfire. Tired and hungry, I went back to the stream dreaming of a fire and a bowl of hot soup. There I was greeted by a faithful head and a half-eaten wolf. Having gorged myself, I lay down on the grass and admired the night sky. The second day of my journeys across this fascinating world has come to an end. Billions of stars were dancing around two moons: a yellow one and a blue one. The first was twice as big as the one I was used to seeing and was enclosed in a ring of meteorites. The blue one had the shape of an egg, it's left side was shadowed. While I was figuring out what could have caused such a peculiar form, I suddenly began to fall asleep. And right before passing out I saw a system notification:
