8 Entrance of the Forbidden Temple...

Deep Forest.

Rito was sitting down while looking at the big Boar he hunted earlier..

He just stared at this juicylicious big fat of meat lying on the ground...

He don't know how to cook it.. or more like he can't cook it.

He don't know how to start a fire.. when he was on earth and still a shut-in,

he watched some primitive technology on the internet when he was really bored and don't know what to watch..

He saw how to make fire, you need two pieces of wood and what you need to do is to rub it together and generate friction. Friction is the action of one surface or object rubbing against another

by rubbing the two pieces of wood together, it generate friction, that friction breaks down the wood and when the wood breaks down to a very fine dust that we called coal, it will eventually start to smolder.

But when Rito tried it, He only rubbed the wood for 20 secs before sweating profusely and giving up..

He looked at the wood to see if it leaves any mark that generate friction but he saw the wood didn't

even have any damage whatsoever.. from there on, He didnt try anything related to primitive technology..

When he remembered it, He sighed.

He turned around and walked away from the big Boar..

After walking a few steps, He looked at it one last time and eventually, He left the big fat meat there.

Rito walked deeper in the deep forest..

He looks around and search for a normal food..

He was so hungry he was about to collapse..

He walked for an hour now but still didn't see anything that can be eaten..

The good thing is, He didn't encounter any beast so he still felt lucky...

After walking around for god knows how long and still didnt find anything..

He was about to give up and rest first when suddenly, He smelled something..

*sniff*

*sniff*

Rito was trying to find the source of the smell, This is the first time he smelled something good after coming here..

He became desperate to find that smell.. Not only because he was hungry... but because when he smelled it, He already know what it was.. It's a smell of a smoke meat..

"Someone is roasting meat!" thought to himself.

He can't stop drooling anymore..

" I want to take a bite of it ".That's all he had in mind..

At first, He tried to reason himself but because of hunger he could no longer hold back and started running..

He tried to locate that smell with fastest speed,

He didn't care who it was that roasting the meat any longer..

He just want to take a bite..

With that, His instinct takes over him..

His five senses work to the fullest looking for that source of smell..

He knows he was getting near because the smell is becoming stronger and stronger..

He smiled.. but that smile looks so creepy..

When he finally locate where that smell coming from, He was shocked at what he saw..

He didn't know where he had run to because all he had in mind is to locate that smell..

When he finally did, He saw the trees that was supposed to be 500 feet tall became normal again..

and the scenery here is different..

The Trees here are full of fruits, Any fruit you can name is all here.. The trees are surrounding a certain part of land forming a circle around it.. In the middle of that land, There are smaller trees.. but that's not whats special about it.. On every tree, They produced a certain kind of food..

Rito saw a tree that look like It was burning but It didn't turn to ashes, Instead, It was more like it is made that way,

Every branch had a meat hanging on it and the branches were rotating on its own slowly,

It look like it was roasting the meat..

Beside the burning tree, He saw a tree that produced sausage that sways from left to right and on the other side he saw tree that produce candies.. He saw a tree produce a jellies and many more..

Rito gulped and he swallowed a mouthful of saliva.. He thought to himself.

"On the other side are full of fruits, On the inside are full of meat and candy" Rito said while calculating how many he will eat.

Even though he was happy at this discovery, He was still curious on how the tree produce this kind of foods.. But even though he was curious, He put it in the back of his head because he was too hungry to think so he started running towards the burning tree..

When he pluck the chunk of meat on the burning tree,

He was surprised..

because even though it looks like the meat was there for a long time.. It was not overcooked.

He takes a big bite.. and was shocked.

"This is the best meat I've ever tasted in my whole life!" he said.

The meat was so tender, It melts in your mouth the moment you bite it..

This is the softest meat he ever eat..

Back on earth, He can only taste the cheapest meat that was hard as rubber..

You need to tear it forcefully just to get a piece of it..

He didn't wait any longer and starts eating all the meat on the tree..

The tree was small in the first place, It only produce ten pieces.. so he ate all of it ferociously..

After eating for a long time.. He felt satisfied..

He rested for a bit before walking around that place..

He wandered around and saw many things..

And was amazed by how magical this place was..

After walking for a while he discovered a ruins..

Feeling curious, He started walking towards there...

He saw some stele with some carvings on it..

He can't understand the writings so he just touched it to feel the stone..

But he was amazed when he touched the stone, The carvings started to shine on it..

Nothing particular happen so he just move on and started exploring..

While exploring, He was looking at the structure of the ruins and didn't notice a stone on his path

and he stumbles..

When he thought he was gonna fall to the ground a barrier hit him in the face..

"Ouch!" Rito shouted.

He was shocked and angry at the same time..

He didn't think that there was some kind of barrier here..

He tried to touched it and put some force on it but it's like a steel wall..

He can't move it..

He started to pushed it as hard as he can.. He looked like he was pushing the air..

But the barrier didn't even budged..

After a while, He began to think on how to break it..

He tried to look at the ruins thinking maybe there was some kind of key hiding on it..

He came back disappointed, There was nothing on the ruins except the stone carvings...

He tried to throw the carvings on the barrier but nothing happen..

He then try to throw like he did on the Boar but still nothing happened..

Finally, He gave up and rest here.

While resting, He was trying to feel the red aura inside his body..

When he realized he became strong after the fight with the Boar...

He knew that his strength had some connection to that red aura and with that, for the past hours he wanted to know how to release it.. Even though he tried the same thing he did when he activated it.. There's nothing happening..

"Hmm, From my experience, Only if I'm in certain dangers the red aura will be activated." Rito thought.

But he questioned it, Because when he fought the Boar, He didn't saw the red aura on his body..

What he didn't know was, He didn't notice it because he was too focus on the boar and the stone he was holding that time..

While in a dazed he suddenly realized something...

The time when he activated the aura on the Battlefield, He only had one thing in mind..

"To not die".

When he was in a crisis, He always had one resolution..

He was not having negative thoughts..

"Maybe when I fought the Boar, I had the red aura on me but because I was focus on the stone in my hand that time maybe...." Rito said to himself.

When he tried to shout at the Boar that time, He was not confident enough so maybe it affects his willpower and because of that, The red aura didn't activate..

"Confidence...."

When that sudden realization hit him..

A red aura burst out from his body..

He was shocked at first but laugh afterwards.

"If I'm not confident enough, My power is at rock bottom too, As long as I have more confidence even the heavens can't hinder me.." Rito said while smiling.

He tried to control the red aura on his body ..

He was still exploring his new power so he was having a hard time controlling it..

But he already knew how to activate it, So as long as he was confident enough, He can use this as his trump card..

With that, he stand up and walked towards the barrier...

He touched the barrier again with a grin on his face...

A red aura suddenly burst out from his body..

Rito punched the barrier as hard as he can...

A loud bang echoed throughout the forest..

The earth was shaking from the impact..

The barrier cannot take the impact and shattered into pieces..

Rito looked beyond what's on the other side...

He was astonished at what he saw...

He saw a gigantic majestic temple and an eight statue of minotaur..

The statues were lined up on each side giving a vibe that they were the gatekeepers...

It had eight columns as high as 100 feet with ancient writings all over and some character that looks like hieroglyph.

The entrance was so wide but you can't see anything inside..

The outside was radiating lights that it looked holy..

But when you saw the entrance you will feel darkness..

When Rito saw the temple he was mesmerized..

He was captured by the beauty.. and started walking towards it without him knowing..

When he was about to get close to the temple

The red aura flick around on him and he regained his senses..

When he realized what happened..

He started sweating and became high alert...

He started to be on guard....

Because when he looked at the temple again..

It was already giving him a sinister aura.....
