18 Becoming Magician...
While Rito was thinking, He suddenly heard the old man speak.
"You already woke up, I need to go now".
Rito was shocked when he heard the old man, he can't help but asked. "You are leaving already?".
Hearing him, The old man twitched his eyebrows and said.
"I already told you what you need to know.. You think I am your babysitter? You were lying in bed for a month and I still have many things to do".
"What?! A month?!". Rito was shocked, He can't believe he was unconscious for a month, He thought he just passed out for a few days. He can't believe the backlash was so severe if he failed to control the red aura.
"Looks like I need to be more careful if I use the red aura in the future". he thought to himself.
When Rito thought about how to control the red aura, The old man said something that shocked him.

When Rito heard what the old man said, He was shocked at first but sigh in relief afterwards.
He don't need to guess and understand it right away..
The one who sealed it was probably the one who help him when he got consumed by the aura of slaughter.
Now, He dont need to worry about the red aura going berserk but he was feeling uneasy because he don't have a trump card anymore... If he encounters an enemy like Endo, He was sure he will die..
When the old man saw Rito sighed in relief, He smirked and told him.
"But the seal will weaken over time so you need to grow strong fast, If you want to control the red aura in your body, you need to have a strong mentality.."
"The stronger your mentality is, The better control you will have in your mind.."
"If your willpower was strong enough , Even if the red aura accumulated many negative energy, It can't do anything to you".
When Rito heard the old man's advice, He take his advice to heart.
He needed to be careful now and train his mentality as soon as possible or else,
The moment the seal weakens and the red aura wreaks havoc, He will be devour alive and possibly lose his life.
He nod and said.
"I will listen to you, Thank you for taking care of me for the past month and say thank you to Saint Amo for me, Tell him I will be careful with my actions from now on..."
When the old man heard what Rito said, he snorted and talked with an annoying voice.
"My master already told you to become magician but you are here trying to become a hero.. hmph".
"Train your brain first, Before mentality.. I'm going now".

He was gonna refute the old man and say that training brain is training mentality too

He suddenly opened his eyes and started sweating.
He remembered the faces of the people he killed..
despair, anger , helplessness , agony... all of it appeared on his mind..
Even though he knew the ones he murdered were all bad people, He was not in that kind of mentality yet.
They don't have a grudge with him, Well except for that man with a scar on his left cheek and a mole in the right.
In the end, He was still a young man..
Killing hundreds of people without batting an eye was still impossible for him..
It was a shocked to him seeing many dead bodies but he was trying his best to adjust..

Rito started his journey to District One..
While on the way he heard some things about the Cucu pavilion..
When the Slums heard the leader got killed by someone, The other kingpins were shocked,
They cannot believe that Endo was killed but what puzzled them was the killer just leave Endo's body inside the Cucu Pavilion..
They thought if the killer doesn't know that Endo had 1,500,000 gold coin bounty on his head..

The body just rot there in the Cucu Pavilion..
Even though they were gritting their teeth in anger seeing the body just rot there, They still didn't claim it.
They were afraid that they might offend the one who really killed the leader of the Crossroad Cult..
Endo was one of the most powerful kingpin in the Slums, So someone who can kill Endo easily and turned the Cucu Pavilion to ruins must be an incredible expert...
So even though they were greedy they still know their limits..
In the end, they just sighed..

The houses all have pointy rooftops and they are all perfectly lined up..
Even the trees on the road are perfectly symmetrical..
You can see many shops that sells things related to magic...
Almost all the people he saw was wearing robe for magicians..
There are many types of robes, probably from different schools around here..
He saw many magicians with different kind of wands placed on their waist..
Normal Magicians use wands to convert their mana and turn it into magic..
But there are some elites that can directly convert their mana in their bodies...
The people here call them Middle Grade Magician...
These people are highly nurtured by their respective schools because only 1 in 10,000 can convert mana directly in their bodies.. so they are all well protected..
And the last...
The geniuses, The people call them High Grade Magician. They are the most important students in every school here,
Not only they can convert their mana directly.. they can instantly cast a spell too..
The Normal Grade Magicians on top of using wands, they needed to chant the spell too.
While Middle Grade Magicians just needed to chant because they can convert their mana directly.
The High Grade Magicians can just directly cast spells..
The Best example was Endo, who instantly cast fireball to Rito.
The difference between grades was like heaven and earth.
But being High Grade Magician was very rare..
Only 1 in 100,000 can become High Grade Magician..
So every school here will do all that it takes to protect this geniuses because not only they are the pride of the school they are also will be one of their strongest force in the future.
In case of Endo, he got kicked out because the one he killed was another high grade magician with an influential family.

There was a legend here that every millennium there will appear a magician who can create his own magic.. They called it Unique Magician and Only that person can used it. even if you try and duplicate the skill, It will not be the same as the original.
But no one ever saw someone created his own magic... The magics they are all learning here are from ancient era and people just converted it to many different languages.
They haven't seen someone created his own magic, Even high wizards can only do a variety of a spell.. That can't be counted as your own because you only personalize it..
But they still believe someone can create his own magic...
