7 Chapter 7

An hour ago before the meeting...

Hazel found the tunnel on the way to the underground.

She cautiously walked on the tunnel. It is half a kilometers long and twenty meters wide.

Only darkness filled the tunnel until she saw a light at the end of the tunnel.

She sniffed on the air. The smell made her frown. She pinched her nose a bit and tore the edge of her shirt and used it to cover her nose.

It is a smell of something rotten and the surrounding looked so familiar to her.

'Isn't this back part of the Mall?' as she walked towards the wall. The rotten smell is more potent than before.

She peeked at the edge of the wall and saw many zombies lurking on.

She pouted. 'Why I am so unlucky?!' she shouted inwardly.

"Guuuhhh" many zombies groaned and seemed like they are looking for their preys to eat.

'No way that I'll be a food for you all!' she cursed as she sweated heavily.

She sighed. She doesn't want to admit that she's scared of these zombies.

Yes, she was living in an apocalypse world before. The Man-Eating Giant Apocalypse - kind-of-apocalypse but she was not the one who fought against them.

She's only a Science Researcher who was adept on experimenting those Giants and eventually came up with G-Core Liquid.

She lived like a pampered princess but was betrayed by her co-workers there.

Her enemies in her second and third lifetimes were humans and beast. Beasts can be tamed by Beast Tamers.

So, initially, it will be her first time to fight against these zombies.

Worst of all, this world has no life energy for cultivators nor mana for magicians.

She came back from stupor when one zombie slowly walked towards her direction.

Her body jolted and was about to run away but her right ankle twisted and landed herself on the ground.

"Uhhhk!" her noise was loud enough to catch the zombies' attention.

She slowly stood up and staggered. Her face darkened when she felt the pain on her ankle.

She slowly run away as she supported her ankle carefully.

Then, she saw the metallic door stood out on the wall at the back of the wall and tried to open.

However, it is so difficult to open it so she used her tiny bit of mana to forcefully open it.

Fortunately, there's no zombie waiting for her there. She sat down on the floor and panted heavily.

She patted her chest to calm down and placed her palm on her ankled.

She closed her eyes and tried to feel the mana around her.

Twinkling sparks surrounded her. It came from the mana remaining around.

She immediately casted a spell to heal her ankle. She moved her ankle sideways and there is no longer pain in it.

Then, her eyes gazed around and it shone brightly when saw a displayed hammer inside a glass. It looks like the hammer of Thor. She walked around the hammer and scrutinized it.

'Is it heavy?' she thought and placed her fingers on it.

The hammer looked so heavy but when she lifted it up, the hammer is so light like a feather.

She smirked and powered up the hammer by using her mana on it and started her killing spree on way to the underground floor.

----

They gasped as they saw her rushing towards the horde of zombies like Thor and hammered it down forcefully.

The drone focused on Hazel's face. Those brightened eyes filled with madness are giving them chill down their spine.

"Grandpa! Is she really our cousin?!" another young boy shouted. He sat beside the young boy firstly pointed to the screen before.

Old Master Hunter nodded.

Liezel Hunter clenched her hands into a fist while looking at the screen viciously.

'Why is she not dead yet and even good in fighting?!' she thought.

Lucas Hunter glinted his eyes as he looked at his biological sister on the TV screen.

It seems like she does everything with ease. He doubted it. He never heard anyone about his biological sister's strength nor talents.

All they know are that she is a scheming bitch who always framed Liezel up.

His eyes widened as he saw Liezel's unusual reaction.

He saw her eyes looking at the screen full of hatred.

It is the first time he saw it and started to doubt the rumors about his biological sister.

Was she really a scheming bitch? Did she really frame Liezel up?

He doesn't know. All he needs to know are those Liezel's eyes.

He smirked. 'So, you're the real mastermind huh?'

"Then, isn't that reasonable enough to let her come back?" he stated nonchantly as his eyes glued on the TV screen.

His eyes are full of amazement on his biological sister's strength.

Those thin arms could savagedly hammered down the zombies and those legs are faster than the Secret Guards of Hunter Family.

Since when did she learn martial arts?

Dave and Alicia are stunned of their son's statement.

'What? They must get her back?' Alicia thought and unconsciously looked at her fake daughter, Liezel.

Liezel saw her mother's gaze and put her head down. Alicia's eyes moistened and felt a heartache for her.

She was about to oppose her son's statement but the Old Master Hunter gave her a threatening eyes. She shut up.

"Will she really come back? She already severed ties with Hunter Family" Rachel Hunter, the youngest sister of Dominic Hunter, said as she stared on the screen.

Suddenly, they saw Hazel looked at the drone and threw her hammered towards it.

The drone dropped outside the mall which is filled of zombies while the Hunter Family are stunned.

The last thing they saw is the movement of her lips.

'No Sneak Peek, Hunter Family' and smirked widely.

"Master, there's a food stocks in the Stock Room on the Underground Floor. I think it is enough for you and Alex to eat it for three to five years" Antonette said.

Hazel nodded with approval because of Antoinette's meticulous move.

She's currently using her clone counterpart to be with her master while her physical body is protecting the old mansion since she promised the Eight Master to do so.

Hazel silently and slowly walked towards the Stock Room while vigilantly looked around to check if there's a zombie lurking around or not.

She delighted when she saw nothing around and slowly turn around the knob on the door.

The door knob clicked and it opened. It produced a noise so she stopped while sweating.

Even though she already fought against many zombies, she still couldn't get use to it!

'OMG! I didn't feel so intense in my previous three lifetimes! Why is this happening to me?' she cursed and slowly opened while preventing it to produce some noises.

However, her eyes widened when she saw a baby nibbling a human flesh. She gasped and covered her mouth in order not to attract the baby.

It seemed like it just born to this world but it become zombie instead. She felt dejected.

She somehow felt she wanted the baby zombie to become normal baby but will they really go back to the way they were?

She slowly closed the door and sighed heavily. Why does she feel suffocated?

Like... it is her duty to turn them back to normal but another part of herself told her to stop being so meddlesome.

Otherwise she will not live longer like her previous four lifetimes. This time she really want to live longer.

She shook her head as she was about to walk away when she saw a silhouette of a tall man staggering nearby.

'No! I don't have luck at all!' she shouted inwardly and prayed herself that she will not be noticed while closing her eyes.

Unbeknownst to her, she vanished on her spot when she closed her eyes and prayed not to be noticed by that zombie.

When she opened her...one eye, she was stunned to see the vegetable shelves.

'Where am I?'

'Why am I here?'

'What happened back then?'

she confusedly asked herself.

"Master! You vanished before the tall zombie noticed you! What a luck! You unlocked your ability to teleport" Antonette cheered happily as she clapped her hands delightedly.

"Really?" Hazel's eyes widened as she anticipated Antonette's honest respond.

Antonette nodded.

"YES!" she cheered loudly which attracted many zombies nearby.

"Master! RUN!" Antonette shouted at her anxiously.

"Why should I run? I have teleportation ability. I can travel from one place to another!" she confidently said as she patted her chest.

"Master! You just open your ability! You're not even in level one yet! It means you can only teleport once a day!" Antonette tugged the tip of Hazel's clothes as she stated a fact.

"WHAT?!" Hazel narrowed her eyes as she couldn't believe what she have heard. She paused, winked at those zombies cutely and turned around elegantly.

"Then, what are we waiting for? RUNNNNN!" and she run away anxiously while zombies nearby are chasing after her.
