2 The big day

I woke up, got dressed, and grabbed a piece of toast and headed to school mom usually when to work pretty early which is why I never see her in the mornings. I went to class and listened to the professor lesson and took notes. I got my homework and the same thing happened for the next few class then I got to film class and went to Evan I showed him the ideas me and mom thought of. He liked the ideas and started writing a script Evan always seemed so serious he was also pretty quiet too and he always liked to plan things out so. He was also the kind of person I could always rely on. "Hey! Aiden are you getting lost in your train of thought again?" "Yes I was thank you." "No problem, anyways Aiden you'll be the one to get the costumes and I'll be the one building the set" "Ok I can do that" I said "Great also me and you can play most of the cast because we don't have many people in our script, but we're going to have to find people to fill the remaining roles we could go around asking people at lunch." "Ok sounds great. Also what are the remaining rolls?"I asked "The remaining roles are Annabelle Anderson, Ms.Thomas, the unnamed store owner and unnamed store employee." "I can also make information pages about the characters to see if they want to play them." Evan added "Ok lets go make copies of the pages." I said. Evan typed the pages and printed them out and handed copies to me to pass around at lunch but instead I just put them around the school and wrote his number on the sheets of paper if they want to play a role. I did it because it felt unnecessary to walk up to people and ask if they want to play a role. I didn't understand why we couldn't just place them around the the school it would take less work than going around and asking people. Evan likes to work hard though, he says that if he works hard on something and finishes it he'll feel much more accomplished. Besides it will cut into his lunch break and I don't like losing time from my break.

I went to the cafeteria after I put up the last paper. I sat down at a table and pulled out my sandwich from my lunch bag I preferred to make my own than to buy one from the school because it took less money. Then I took a bite from the sandwich. After a few more bites Evan walked up to me and asked "Why aren't you passing your papers around?" "I placed them around the school because it would take less work." "How are you going to get in contact with them if someone wants to play a role?" he asked "I put your phone number for them to call me if they're interested in playing a role in our a film." I responded "Ok that's fine as long as you find a way to get in contact with the person who is interested. Anyways I'll see you later." he said. He straighten his blonde scruffy hair and walked away. I continued eating my sandwich after I finished I put away my brown paper bag to save it for my next lunch. The school day went by I went home did my homework then went to bed the same thing happened for a few days until Evan told me that he got all of the roles filled and handed me the sizes of the people so I can get a costume their size.

After school I walked to the costume store to get the costume for Annabelle Anderson. I looked around the store I walked to where the dresses were and started looking. I needed to find a white puffy dress Evan said that he'll take care of the details because his mom knows how to sew and she has taught him how to sew too. I kept looking though the dresses then I found a white puffy dress I looked at the tag it was right size I placed it in my cart. I went to the cashier and payed for the dress I could buy the aprons at Walmart. I walked out of the store and walked to Walmart across the street it wasn't too far from here. I walked across the street and went inside got two aprons payed and walked out. I walked home and went inside my car and drove to Oak well were Evan lives it was just a 10 minute drive so it doesn't take long get there. I parked near by Evans house got out of the car holding bag in hand and walked to the door I knocked on the door three times and Evan opened the door I handed him the bag. Then I walked inside took off my shoes and followed Evan up the stairs to his room we both walked in his room and I sat down at his desk and he sat on his bed then he said " Aiden I made a schedule for filming. On Tuesday that's when we'll start filming then we'll stop filming by April 12th which will give us enough time to put our film together and have it ready by April 20th when the project is due." "Ok so we'll start filming next week right" I said "right" "Today is February 10th and we'll have the filming done in 57 days" i added "Yes" "are you sure that you can build the set in 7 days?" I asked "yes I'm sure" He replied. "Ok is there anything else you I need to know?" I asked "no nothing else anyways would you like me to give you a note as a reminder that filming starts Tuesday?" he asked "no I'm good anyways bye Evan." "bye see you".

Though out the week Evan has been working on the set I offered him some help but he would always say "no I'm fine" or "no I got this" Evan was always that kid who does all the work in a class project and when someone offers to help they'll say "no I can take care of it". I wonder how he manages to finish all this work. I've know him ever since the 6th grade he would do the same thing that he his doing now every time we were doing a group project he'll do all the work. Heh I guess somethings never change. He would also always put other above himself ever since and he still does. Filming will start will start tomorrow I should get to bed tomorrow is a big day I laided down in bed and shut my eyes and went to bed.
