8 Steve

"You and matt had been pretty much the dream couple I dreamed of having but unfortunately for me" Lily sulked like a child.

"Lily!!!"

"Hey come on get that attitude off when your with me" Alicia directed to lily.

Lily nodded as she brightened up her gloomy face.

"So gist me"

"...." lily's face slackened.

"Come on okay.... I do have something I want to tell you"

"Okay go on"

"I and matt were walking around the park when we met this guy Steve and we talked about a lot of stuff we played truth or dare too" she paused

"Okay" seeming uninterested

"Okay matt asked Steve who he liked and he said no one"

"So..."

"But then after the game he pulled matt aside and told him something I took it that it was a boys thing so no need to interfere" she giggled

"As we were going home Steve started to talk of you how beautiful you are how you carry yourself"

"Carry myself??"

"Yea yea please let me finish'

" okay"

"So I got suspicious somehow of him liking you but when me and matt had let him off matt told me that Steve likes you"

"Okay"

"Seriously? Nothing?"

"Well what do you have me do.....it can't be true you know"

"Come on Steve is a tender guy and you have been so lonely for a while now its final year you can't continue like this"

"Okay okay ill think about it" 

"Please do but just know I care about you being happy that's all that matters"

Lily nodded

"Okay bye matt will be looking for me"

"Mm"

The holidays finally came. Lily thought about what Alicia said and Steve had been putting up some attitude for quite sometime...Quite romantic

"They smell nice" as lily placed them on my desk

"So Steve likes you and he's been the one lavishing you with all these?" Betty asked

"Mm Yea he did" 

"....Without you I would die..."

"Come on don't tell me your actually falling for all these"

"..."

"Lily you deserve better...but Steve he's crap. Do you know how many girls he has gone out with not to talk of all the shit he does with them. Forget Steve you will find someone better"

"Okay"

"I better get going now its getting late"

"Mm okay bye"

"But wait I prefer you get rid of these " gifts" they aren't worth it" she added

"Mm yea will" 

"Okay bye"

"Bye" she hugged her and left

When she had left lily laid on her bed

"Steve Steve Steve" and she slept off

The holiday was quite a blast. Alicia, Betty and lily had a sleep over at lily's house. It was quite fun

"Betty I forgot to ask how is phoenix" Alicia asked

"He's fine" she said nonchalantly.

"Haven't seen you guys together for a while"

"Mm"

"Any problem?

"Not really"

Lily too didn't even know what happened between them. Phoenix had met her a lot of times in order for him to apologize but Betty never let her talk.

And when she asked him what happened he would turn moody and walk away. She had given up but inwardly she concluded that they still loved each other.....
