9 lucky girl

During one of our girls sleep over party, Alicia brought her boyfriend over, it was quite annoying at first especially when she had found out he wasn't alone

"Oh dear God" lily gasped for breath when saw Steve approach me

"Hi....lily"

"Hey Steve" she faked a smile at him

She walked over to her friends, she dodged him anytime she noticed he wanted to talk to her. When the games had started he kept on staring at her and she found it so hard to concentrate.

After the first game they played truth or dare Alicia dared to hold Steve's hand till it was her turn again. She stopped short. This was the worst punishment she could ever receive this night, but then she had to do it if not she would have to face the consequences. So she sat next to him sat down holding her breath as she reached out for his hand. He just took a simple glance at her.

"If you don't wanna do it you could let go off me" he added seeing that she struggled within herself

She was meant to be happy about what he said but she felt bad. Collecting her scattered wits she squeezed his hand.

"Don't worry.....I can..... By the way your hands are soft.." trying to change the topic

"Yea I moisturize them always"

"Oh okay" 

He smiled her and focused on the game

"Seriously now he's serious about the game but he kept staring at me..." She shouted at herself inwardly

Finally it was bed time. She laid down to sleep, when she heard footsteps and someone came in

"Steve!!!" she whispered

"What are you .. ....." she was shocked

"Lily can I have a talk with you" he said as he bent beside her

"Okay"

We walked towards the kitchen

"I want to talk to you about something I think you should know"

"Mm okay am listening"

"I.....lik....love you"

"Well that came out unexpected" she said to herself.

"And I would want to date you" he added noticing she didn't say anything

she had already planned on rejecting him.....

"Actually Steve I..." she noticed his expression changed and she could hear his heart beat getting louder

"...."

"But he's so cute and romantic" she thought

" lily... If you don't want me I could...."

"No no I do want yo.....I mean I do like you" "What am I saying...." seeming a little confused

"So its a yes??" his face brightened up

".....y...e.....s" she stammered

He was so  excited "I love you lily and I promise not to ever hurt you"

Those words hit her hard and she flushed red.

He came closer and hugged her and turned to leave but he turned and swiftly kissed her on the cheek

"Goodnight lily"

"....." And he left

"hope this was worth my while" she smiled to herself as she went to her room

That night was as blissful than ever for her. She had So many illusions of herself and Steve..... Even of when they would get married.

"am so stupid.....time to go to sleep lily" she closed her eyes forcing herself to sleep

"Hey....you okay?"

"St.....i... Ye...no I....." Another shock hit her

"Come on lily talk" he was worried

"I couldn't get some sleep myself"

"Oh"

"Would you mind if I lay with you" he added

"..."

"I can leave if you don't..."

"No no you can stay" she couldn't just reject him

"Okay". he laid beside her

There was a long moment of silence

"So what's your favourite colour lily?"

"Blue"

"Why blue?"

"Well because blue represents both sky and sea

"....." he seemed confused

"I mean it represents freedom,trust,loyalty,sincerity, and inspiration. Cool and calm like me"

"Haha....and beautiful too

She flushed red again

"We better go to sleep" he said

"Okay" hiding my already red ears

"Good night....again

"Mm yea"

She was at the edge of sleep when she felt something warm around her waist. She smiled and dozed off.

Steve treated her in such a loving way through out the week. She felt like she was above the world but most importantly she had someone she loved with her heart and he loved her too. They never failed to let themselves know how much they cared about each other.

It was like a dream come true for lily. Steve was indeed the best. They had become so popular they were tagged the best  couple. The did love each other so much.

"I guess am the lucky girl" lily kissed Steve
