Alicia headed towards Betty's class but she was told Betty wasn't in school. She went to her house Immediately, what she saw struck her

"Betty? who did this to you?...I mean?"

Betty just hugged her as she cried silently

"Its okay Betty just calm down"

After a few minutes Betty got herself

"Now tell me what happened Betty"

she nodded as she told Alicia all that happened starting from phoenix to when she found out he had a baby with Sasha.

On that night she found out.....

"Mm I'm listening"

phoenix explained all that transpired between him and Sasha.

"It came as a shock to me the moment she told me she was pregnant. I thought she was lying until I remembered that the night we stayed together, I wasn't with any protection. Well how was I to know something like that would happen?"

"I...I..ran other tests and the baby was confirmed mine it seemed Sasha wasn't lying." he added

"I told her to abort but she refused threatening me. After sometime she insisted I spend time with her if not she would let you know about everything the thought of loosing you again was maddening on me"

"I had no other choice Betty"

"Am sorry....I should had let you know before this."

"Betty please don't leave me"

"but what of your baby?"

"I already planned on getting rid of her once she gave birth..."

"Rid of her? how?"

"Anyhow she....she cant.... I can't get married to her...never ever"

"But she's the mother of your unborn child!"

"..." phoenix was lost of words

"I love you phoenix but the life of your child should be more important now"

"What of if you take care of my baby?"

"No no phoenix...I can't.....the baby needs her mother

"So you actually want to leave me?"

"I have no other choice phoenix"

"Betty please!"

"Am sorry phoenix its over between us forever please take care of you child" and she left. She had been in so much sorrow ever since then.

.....Now lily had accused her of trying to steal her boyfriend. Then she got the worst beating of her life from her dad. She burst into tears as Alicia tried to console her

"Betty!"

"Come on Betty"

"look at me Betty!"

"look!" betty's sobs died down as she looked up to Alicia

"No matter what happened or will happen I'll always be right beside you ok?"

"i got your back alright?!"

"cheer up darling" she wiped her tears

"Thanks"

"mm no problem let's go to bed...wait no you need to shower your face looks all cramped up"

Betty smiled

"you remind me of my grand ma you know"

"really?"

"yea girl with that face of yours you look like her"

"I guess she's pretty huh?" she smiled

"mm lemme help you dress your wounds"

"no am fine"

"no girl am in charge now"

"yes ma'am" as she sat down like an obedient child

"that's my girl" patting her on her head
