17 Chapter 17

Lydia

I was surprised to see myself standing in front of a movie theatre, I turned my head to look at Zion and he was looking me with his cute face.

"What's this Zion?" I place my hands on my waist waiting for answer, a smirk form on his lips, crossing his hands on his chest.

"I told you, am going to surprise you more in the future" I rolled my eyes. We head inside and buy  the tickets and popcorn. They are just few people inside the theatre room, each one with his or her partner like a couple we are not even a couple my inner voice tells me.

The movie has begun, A romantic comedy. We are in the midst of watching the movie and a scene flashed through making my heart to beat fast they are kissing. I turned around and everyone attention is on the movie is it only my heart that is beating fast? I placed my hands on the armchair when I felt a cold hands on mine.

"Are you okay" he asked furrowing his eyebrows. Did he notice my nervousness? Poor Lydia just calm down.

"Huh...yeah am fine" I croaked a smile. My heat heats up by his touch.

The movie has ended but my heart is still beating, maybe its because Zion is holding my hand, I tried to release my hands from his grip but he held it tightly.

"We are in the movie theatre Lydia, do you want to want people to see us as stranger, come on Lydia, let's spend the day like couples" I cringe at the word 'couple'.

"Am hungry, let's go and eat" he added pulling me. We went to a quite restaurant, the waiter came to us.

"Hello sir, what will you like to order?" He spoke politely.

"As usual" Zion waved his hands. The waiter came back with our food. Zion started digging in immediately. After we are done eating, I took my wallet from my pocket for some money but zion stopped me.

"Don't bother, I will pay"

"No let me pay"

"I insist" he said gritting his teeth I don't  have a choice.

As we are leaving the restaurant, and elderly man called zion name making us to stop. I felt Zionist tensing and he pulled my hands

"Let's go" he voice came out like coldly.

We are driving back, and no one speak, zion has been clenching his jaw, I don't want to disturb him so I kept quite.

He Parked his car at the front of our school. I opened the door to get out of the car when suddenly I was pulled back and what I didn't expect happened. He slammed his lips on mine kissing me forcefully, licking my lips as if he's licking a sweet, I gave him entrance and our lips are moving in sync, he held me tight as if he's scared something will happen to me and I in return place my hands on his neck pulling him in, we stayed like that kissing like forever, when Zion broke the kiss and lean his head on my forehead

"You're mine Lydia, only mine" he whispered.

So how's the shortee chapter?😊 I don't know what has gotten into me today to write a short chapter but anyways enjoy!.
