15 Chapter 15

Lydia

As I stared at the man standing few inches from me, I felt weak in my knees this can't be true he can't comeback after all these years. Nicole held me hands that are already shaking from fear.

The man started making his way towards us, I tighten  my grip on Nicole's hands

"Hello...long time no see LYDIA" the way he called my name made my heart pound fast. He eye me from head to toe.

"Aren't you happy to see me" he look me straight In the eye.

"W-what...do..you..want" I couldn't bring myself to talk calmly.

"Why not we talk in private, we have many things to talk about" he glanced at nicole and smirk I hate him, I know him if I don't go with him he can do something stupid and I don't want him to hurt my friends. I squeezed Nicole's hands assuring her I will be okay, she understood and left with James that's being quite the whole time.

"What do you want" I blurted out this time my voice sound more brave. He lean on the table and crack a smile

"Is that what you really want to know?" He spoke back. I kept quite, honestly I want to know how he found me.

"Aren't you going to ask me how I found you" he spoke with arm crossed.

"Get straight to the point"

"Since you're scared to ask let me tell you"

"Well you know, I have my ways, I know all your movement, school, outing,workplace and also your boyfriend" my eyes widen in shock what all this while he's been watching me and he knows about zion.

"Why are you back, and what do you really want from me" I asked in much louder voice.

"You really want to know why am back? I want what's mine"

"Am not yours stop dreaming, you already lost the chance of making me yours, I can never be yours" he stood up, red in the face, with jaw clenched.

"You don't know what am capable of lydia, you are mine only mine" he shouted. People attention turns to us now.

"And who are you to decide that" I turned to the voice, I saw an angry zion walking toward us, he punched Tom on the face making him to fall on the floor.

"Z-zion" I don't know what came over my but I went towards him and hugged him, I was so scared and zion is at the right time

"Are you okay" he asked with so much worry in his eyes, I nodded he went over tom and grabbed him by the collar.

"How dare you, what do you want from Lydia, she's mine"

"Well...well.. Nice to meet you, I've been wanting to meet you, did she told you about us" he spit and looked at me

"That none of your fucking business, just stay away from her, if not you will regret your life, I will make sure I break your bones and you rot in jail" he punched him once again. He  took my hand and we left the restaurant leaving tom shouting

"I will make your lifes miserable just wait and see" he shouted. Zion took me directly to his car.

"Why the fuck did you switched off your phone" he blurted

"My battery is down..but wait how did you know am here?" He clenched his fist on the steering wheel.

"I called Nicole and asked her about your whereabouts"

"What about Nicole" I asked, remembering I left them to talk with tom.

"Don't worry I told them I will take you home" he looked at me, my cheeks turn pink from blushing.

"So tell me who is he?" He seems serious. I sigh.

"Its a long story zion" I felt warm tears wetting my face, I bit my bottom lips this is gonna be hard, but I had to let it out. He turned my face towards him and looked my straight in the eye.

"Don't worry Lydia, am here by your side" the way he said it makes me smile OK I breath in and out.

"Tom is my ex-boyfriend"

Flashback

I met tom five month ago, he came with his friends for coffee, I was working part time in the coffee shop. When he first approach me he was being kind, smilling little did I know there is something bad behind this smile.

He told me he's working in a restaurant, he's the boss there, that  he can get me a job there and I will be paid better than here. So I gladly accepted because I will have almost enough money to go to college, so he gave he gave me his number and a card that I should visit him. I was very happy I told the news to my mom she was happy too.

So the next day, I payed him a visit, and he showed me around, that I can start working the next day, I was very excited. So when I went home I informed my mom about it, anything that happens to me my mom is the first person to know.

So I started my work, everyone's been kind,tom too and that's where I met Nicole. So after one month I got my first pay, I was very happy that soon I will start college, we've been planning to go to same college.

The second month, tom invites me for a drink, and that he wants to tell me something.

When we are sitted at the bar, he was being nervous, he later on confessed that he like me, I was surprised because I didn't think  such a cute guy like tom will like me, so I accepted his request. I know I was being stupid, but I that time I needed someone but little did I know I've chosen the wrong person.

So we started dating, no one knows in the workplace except Nicole ofcourse I told her. It's been 2 weeks since we started dating, when he invites me to his house, that he's living with his parent so I didn't think negatively. My mom doesn't know about the dating I just told her am going out with Nicole

I was dressed in my floral dress with a heel and my purse, he drove us to her house, I was surprised when we entered the house its quite, I asked him where are his parent. What he told me made my eyes widen I shock. That this is not his parent house, in fact this is not his house he locked the door.. You know what he did to me, he RAPED me!! And dump, and threaten me that if I dare open my mouth he will kill me, I was very scared at the same time hate my self, I couldn't bring my self to tell mom about the things only Nicole that knows, he fired my from work. I was helpless I regret dating him. After what happened that day I didn't see him again until today

End of flashback

I cried remembering all that happened, zion placed my head on his shoulder and comforted me.

"Don't worry babe, I will make him regret what he did to you, I promise" I felt relieved I have someone to protect me but at the same time I was scared what if he did something stupid to hurt my friends, I can't let that happen he must he stopped.
