After what happened that day in the restaurant, I don't seems to understand Zion he's always sticking to me and whenever we are walking he watches his back several times, I don't know what has got into him.
We are sitting at the cafeteria eating when I heard my phone beep before I could open the text Zion snatched the phone from me, I was surprised after he finish god know what he gave me back me phone.
"What's the meaning of this zion?" I stared at him waiting for an answer
"I wanted to browse something and my phone has shutdown and its very important for me to find out now" something is fishy, I have to find out. I checked my watch it's almost time for second class(general class) so I stood up.
"Zion let's get going the class is almost starting" he hesitate first before answering
"Just go...I will come later" I just mouthed OK and made my way to the class. Nicole is sick and James is also absent am the only one who are present, the class is so boring, my friends and not with me Nicole, James,zion yeah we are friends now I've even started to like him what!. I texted zion where are you? No reply definitely something is going on.
I unlocked our room finding nicole eating pizza. I sat down and took one
"So Nicole you've recovered now right"
"Yeah...thanks to the pain killer, so how's class today" I sigh
"Boring without you, James is absent so as zion" she sat up from laying down.
"You know what I think zion likes you the way he's been around you" my cheek turn red why am I blushing
"And you make the perfect couple, I know you like him so follow your heart" she squeeze my hands. And smile at me. But I feel scared
"You're right I do like him, but Nicole am scared I don't want my past to get between us" she turned my face toward her.
"Don't worry about the past I know zion will understand just do what you want to do"
"Thank you for the advice nicole" I embrace her In a hug
Little did they know that a storm is coming to them soon.
I heard my phone beep message from zion
Zion: meet me outside the school I replied with
Me: OK give me 10minutes
I quickly freshen up and change my top and applied some powder. I waved at nicole
"Bye"
"Bye enjoy your date" not a date
I saw him leaning against his car wearing black T-shirt and a crazy jeans,
"Are you done checking me out" I can't help checking him out he looks handsome I just smiled at him and entered the car he also enter and roar the car to life
"So where are we going" I didn't meet his gaze.
"You'll see" we stared at each other, i broke the contact by turning the radio on.
He parked the car somewhere and we got out and walk towards some busy street some people selling food, goods etc we walk toward an old woman food stand
"Hello, we want this fried noodles" zion said pointing at the hot fried noodles my mouth started watering. Zion gave me to taste, at first I hesistated but what's wrong with that, I took it wow so delicious.
We also ate some hot dog, I love hotdogs. the man asked us if we are couples what zion said surprised me. He pull me towards his body, I felt my body heating up
"Yeah we are couples" what
We are sitting on a bench in a park till then I didn't meet his zion feeling shy, he speaks breaking the silence
"You know..we did not know more about each other" i turned to look at him and shift my gaze again looking down
"What do you want to know about me" I asked him
"You know... Your childhood, likes and dislikes" I sigh this is going to be hard
"Am just me an ordinary girl, I only have my mother who takes care of me and my dad passed away when I was 10yrs old due to heart attack, my dad loves me he doesn't let anything happen to me, so as my mom she took care of me after my dad death I love my parent. And for likes I like purple colour, I like hot dogs when I was little I used to eat day and night."
"Hhhhh...I can see the way you ate those hot dogs earlier"
"I hate drinking, as passed out by drinking 2shots. So that's it my story, what about you" he tensed
"What do you want to know about me"
"Everything" we stared at each other for like eternity, zion is the first to break the contact
"An an orphan, my parent passed away when I was 15" he said without looking at me, I know there must be something to it maybe he's not ready to tell me, I will give him sometime.
"Am sorry" I said
Silence fell on us each of us with whats he's thinking, we drove back to school.
"Thanks for today, I really enjoyed my self " I said with a smile
"Me too" I waved at him turning to make my way to our dorm when he called me again, before I could say anything I felt his lips on mine.
