3 The Bestfriend

While Jhun was mindlessly walking through the hallway, someone has draped its arm over her shoulders. She knew it. She just took a short glance of the person beside her, Eiji, her bestfriend, then eyes straight back to the way.

Eiji was all smiley to every person his eyes met when he noticed Jhun was not making any movement nor reaction. "Hey! Why do you look so gloomy? It's just the second day of school" He told partly laughing. Jhun was still not responding. He frowned. "Are you alright? You okay?" Jhun slightly smiled and replied, "Yeah.. Don't mind me" He felt that there's really something wrong with her but he just decided to let it pass since she said that she's fine. "Okay. You say so. Let's go!" He dragged her towards their classroom.

Jhun was glad that she had Eiji by her side. To be honest, she had also fair share of girl friends it's just that.. only Eiji had stucked with her for years and eventually became her bestfriend. Even tho he's such a party boy and happy-go-lucky, he's nice and caring of her.

But once, she thought of shutting him off. Why? Eiji being a lady's man, a lot of girls were having a crush on him. Since not so many people around them knew about their friendship, one time, she was mistaken as his girlfriend and his fangirls fought her. Good thing, Eiji rescued her but she got kinda traumatized.

During their breaktime, Jhun thought she saw that 'guy' passing by their classroom so she suddenly hid under the window beside her. Unknowingly, Eiji was watching her. "Is there someone you're hiding from?"

Jhun startled by Eiji's presence but then recovered. "What are you talking about?" She replied like nothing happened. Eiji was staring at her suspiciously then just a few seconds.. his face was already only 2 inches away from hers. Jhun got suddenly nervous.

Stuttering.. she assured him, "Aish. It's.. it's nothing! But could you now.. put your face away from me?!" Jhun never felt this uncomfortable around him before.

Eiji finally back to his seat and said, "Make sure of that or else.. i'll be your other shadow" gesturing two fingers from his eyes to her eyes.

Sighed.. Jhun didn't know what to do anymore. 'How did I become friends with him in the first place?!' She felt some things are getting worse. She couldn't understand herself anymore.
