Kylie sighed for the ninth time wondering why there was a hold-up on the road at this time of the day, and what was the reason why the sudden hold-up, looking out the window she saw her driver who she had sent to inquire about the reason for the delay walking back to her.

" So what's the reason for this delay we are facing " She inquired, her growing cold from anger

" Ma'am, there was a gunfight on the way by those underground criminals and the police are currently investigating what happened so the road is closed for the time being. " The driver who was a young man said slightly bowing his head.

Kylie snorted at the response and trudged her face away in anger, why did those underground thugs choose today of all days to fight??? and why was it done on the particular roads of all roads???

" When will this delay be cleared out " David inquired when he saw that his boss was getting angry.

" Minimum 1 1 hours," the driver remarked and the temperature dropped all of a sudden.

" You can get into the car now, there's no way out of here now," David said looking behind them to see more cars parked.

" Call my grandpa and inform him, we will be late, " Kylie said closing her eyes to meditate.

At hotel XYZ, Martins sighed as he walked into the private room

" Chairman your granddaughter called to inform us she would be a little late," He said and what he heard was a loud bang.

"...that....unfilial granddaughter of mine...just let her get here " Old Man Ross scorned in response.

A light footstep was heard walking past the various cells people were caged in and being tortured for one or the other crime they had committed, the guards stationed at each cell bowed their heads as their boss walked past, and they wondered who was the unlucky fellow that was going to get beaten to a pulp by their boss.

With a cold and Murderous expression, Nathan walked into the cell at the end of the basement and glanced at the body laying almost lifeless on the ground, he made a cold snort and signaled his assistant to wake him up,

Xander nodded looking at his boss's motion and pressed the button which poured out acid upon the lifeless body on the floor which jolted the criminal awake, walking toward his boss he cleaned the chair and his boss sat on it elegantly with beauty and poise.

The semi-conscious man looked at him and turned his head away refusing to answer his question, thinking if he refuses to give them an answer they would keep him alive and he could find a way to escape.

Nathan burst out into terrifying laughter which made chills crawl up the spines of everyone around except Xander who was already used to his boss's behavior.

" Do you think refusing to give us an answer is going to spare your life?? " Nathan asked a cold and sickening smile spread across his lips

" I can always find out who sent you without your help, now you will die "

" No please wait, I will tell you " The man screamed when he saw that Nathan had seen through his plan.

" his....name is....D...a.." before he could finish his words Nathan stabbed the knife into his heart and pulled it out and the man fell lifeless.

Throwing the knife away, Nathan picked up the towel on the table and wiped his hands, sighing in defeat Xander mumbled

" Did you have to kill him like that, you could have given him a simpler death " and Nathan snorted in response.

" Find someone to clean up this mess and every information regarding the accident, " Nathan said and Xander nodded.

" Boss are you sure, you are alright, you didn't get a check-up after the accident, Xander said worry lacing his tone.

" I'm fine Xan," Nathan said and walked out of the room with Xander trailing after him.

Nathan thought of how Xander had always stocked him right from high school till now never leaving his side, the truth was Xander was more than his assistant, he was also his best friend and his closest companion, shaking his head at the thought, he increased his walking pace.

Getting into the car with Nathan by his side Xander started driving, Nathan picked up the laptop lying on the seat of the car, typed in some codes, and a series of footage from the accident scene appeared on the screen.

Kylie climbed out of the car and walked toward the restaurant, David ran to catch up with her, and Martin stood outside the hotel waiting for the old man's granddaughter who had called 10 minutes ago to say she was arriving.

Martins saw the familiar figure walking towards him, he sighed in wonder staring at her, after all these years she had not lost her elegance and beauty, she was the definition of beauty even at his age he was always thrown off balance at her beauty and the way she carried herself.

Kylie smiled softly looking at the familiar old man who was her grandfather's assistant, if her grandpa was troublesome then his assistant was softening. Holding back a sigh, she cleared her throat to bring his attention to her.

Martin gasped in surprise and shock and quickly bowed his head in greetings

" Young Miss welcome," He said,

" I'm not the young miss anymore, you don't have to call me that, " Kylie remarked looking at the man who was also like a grandfather to her.

Martins stared at her for some moments and nodded at her words

" your grandfather awaits you inside, let's go," he said and started leading the way with Kylie's assistant and Kylie walking after him.
