11 Tournament Final day

I walked back into the waiting room under the incessant cheers of the crowd. The same empty cold room now encompassed me. "Drak, why does my eye colour keep changing?" I asked him seriously.

[Well let's use one of your memories as an example, the character Nymphadora Tonks was a registered metamorphmagus. In the movies, it shows that she is able to change her hair colour based on her emotions. In your case, it's similar but only in cases of extreme anger. It's understandable the fucker insulted your mother, if it was me I would have killed him, but not only the police would get involved but it's just a headache and I don't want you killing anyone when you are still so young. It might affect you in a bad way.] he said simply.

I see. so that's the reason. "can it be controlled, it's a big tell of my emotions as well as abnormal and I don't wish to expose myself as a metamorphmagus until I'm comfortable." I said while in deep thought. [well yes it can be controlled, all you need to do is suppress your emotions, or at least be able to control them to an extreme. I think you can start learning occlumency, it will allow you to come to grips with your emotions, it will help you deal with those nightmares you've had every night since you were a baby. you can train in it by ridding your mind of all thoughts and emotions. Meditating helped in this already as it had the same process. so you should learn quickly. naturally, I will attempt to penetrate your mind with Legilimency and that will serve as your training.] he said.

I completely agreed with him. after all not only would it allow me to control my emotions but it would stop anyone from attempting to read or tamper with my memories. "how long will it take for me to master this skill?" [it will take years to master, probably by the end of the second year or so. But by the time you enter Hogwarts, you will be able to tell if they are trying to read your memories or anything of the sort and I'll step in to help you repel them.]

Good, for now, I think I'll head over to Luke and Diana and head to the hotel to sleep before the finals tomorrow. As I made my way out of the room and into the courtyard, I was soon swarmed by people who liked my fights. I have to say, I'm not afraid of much but death by human stampede is something I fear deeply. Thankfully the staff and the guards came to help out, and I soon located Luke and Diana and we made our way safely to the car.

on the road, we had a good chat. "Tom, how are you, did you get hurt?" Diana asked with worry as she scanned me from the passenger seat up front. " I'm fine thank you, no injuries to my knowledge," I said while moving my arms to show her that I was fine. "I never knew you were so good, you might win the whole thing Tom I'm rooting for you," said Diana with a smile before turning back to look out the window.

"Tom, tomorrow is going to be a tough day, you have the top 8, top 4 and finally the fight for the championship all in one day. it is brutal, I was wondering why they don't space it out for one fight a say but one of the staff said it was almost like a test in of its self. the one who wins is the one who exhibits, control and knows how to be efficient with his/her moves. So try to pace yourself. Don't rely on your Gaoding strategy since it might not work all the time." he said with a knowing smile.

"oh, so you caught that huh?" I answered with surprise, I didn't think Luke was this observational. "it was not hard, the poor kid had a purple face near the end and you were too far apart for it to be due to a hit and you didn't kick him in the nuts so the only option is emotional change." he analysed before looking through the rearview mirror to see my face. "touche" I said while nodding.

we soon arrived at the hotel and Diana put a hat on my head so that I was not immediately recognised and made our way over to the room where we spent most of the day apart from leaving for dinner. At night me and Drak went over the fine details of my new occlumency training that I would do after I got back home. After settling that I went to bed.

The next day, we ate breakfast, chatted while we talked about trivial things on the news, then made our way to the stadium. I parted ways with the Knights under their watch before I disappeared into the room assigned to me. They too made their way to the VIP section that it exclusive the parents of the participants.

The fights for the top 8 were difficult but manageable.

Top 8 I versed a large boy which seemed to have much more strength and reach than me but slower speed. I simply waited for an opening and struck a kidney shot before kicking the inside of his knee and then a roundhouse kick to the head. Knockout

Top 4 was even more difficult and I finally got hit on the shoulder by a heavy kick, the good thing was that It didn't seem to be detrimental to the rest of the fight as I was able to win by submission.

Soon the final fight came. I was once again sitting in the cold solemn room with my eyes closed as I concentrated on clearing my mind of unnecessary thoughts. The announcer as always did a magnificent job at increasing the excitement, even I found myself susceptible to it as I felt my blood rush, Boil as I waited for my name to be called out. And Finnaly I emerge from the dark tunnel into the light, where the deafening sound of hundreds of thousands of cheers threatened to burst my ear drums.
