Hogwarts

The train slowed down and then eventually came to stop. All the students started to pour out of the train like water from an uncorked bottle.

It was night time and the atmosphere was cold, somewhere between 4-5°. The sky was clear with stars visible to everyone. There was a 'no smog charm' and it was made by Hogwarts itself.

The Hogsmeade station was based near a large lake that connected to Hogwarts.

There was a caretaker who came to fetch us, His name was not important. After walking a few pathways we reached the lakeshore. It had nearly 40 boats that rowed automatically. It was a special charm that was placed onto them for centuries possibly by the founders themselves. I sat in the boats with 3 other potential future minions, the boats advanced in the castle's direction.

And then we saw it, Oh how could I tell you the majestic nature of its beauty, the towering dominance that it shows to the foe but the gentleness and warmth to its own. Even I The Greatest Dark Lord in history cannot come close to its majestic aura.

In the dark night full of stars the castle was like a behemoth towering, looking untouchable not a speck of dust could be found, no cracks, and the paint was maintained through the centuries.

And ooh the wards, if it were a drug I would have been higher than the moon, No matter how much I write I cannot describe the beauty of the one and only Hogwarts. It is an experience that one should experience firsthand.

Anyway, when we finally reached the docks, One by one the boats were led to the shore and we got out of them. Then the caretaker led us to the door of the great hall where Dumbledore was standing in anticipation. Looking at all the students as we reached him. The caretaker excused himself and then Dumbledore gave us his unique speech.

I warmly welcome you all little nitwits to Hogwarts. This is the magical place where you will stay for the next 7 years of your life, there are four houses Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. You will be sorted into one of the four houses based on your most dominant character and that house will serve as your family. There is also a system of House points, but you will get information about it from your respective house heads.

In the case of Gryffindor, it will be me. He ended his speech.

In his speech, I found two things that I missed in my previous life firstly he named Gryffindor as the first house meaning the most important without saying so, and the second was that he cleared that he was the head of Gryffindor house, and it will indirectly affect the sorting, as he was the first authoritative person All the mudbloods met and naturally they will have a favorable opinion of him and will wanna go into his house, This was a subtle manipulation technique to rope in all the mudbloods which will eventually become his order members and potential threats to me.

Then he opened the door to the great hall and led us in. The view of the great hall was unique, to say the least, Four tables each hosting different 'colored' children and then there was the teacher's table which had headmaster Armando Dippet and the other professor. whom I recognized was my favorite Head of Slytherin House professor Horace Slughorn. Seeing him brought an involuntary smile to my face. Someone else might think I was smiling because I was excited to meet him, but no, it was because I was thrilled by the prospect of how I will use him this time.

On the outer surface, Tom had a harmless smile but on the inside, he was grinning like a predator.

Horace suddenly shivered, He thought it was a cold wind, but what he didn't know was that it was his cold future eyeing him.

In front of hundreds of children, we stood and Dumbledore brought the stool and the hat. He placed the stool on the ground and placed the hat on it. All the first years were confused, some on seeing dumbledore's nature thought it was a prank but, their doubts solidified when the hat ripped open a mouth and started singing.

When the song finished dumbledore said, "Now I will call your name and you will come and sit here, I will put the sorting hat on your head and it will sort you. Note that it will talk to you inside your head so don't panic". with that, the sorting started.

Many sorted into Gryffindor some Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff and the Slytherin was the least.

As soon as Dumbledore put the hat on my head it shouted

"Slytherin"
