7 The start of the school year at Hogwarts

[1 month and a half later]

I booked a room at the leaky cauldron for 1 month and a half and worked here too to hear rumors and stories to know when i am in canon, and i heard that Harry Potter is going to be eleven next year so i have one year till the start of canon so it's a relief that i have a year to learn everything i can and prepare for what's to come but i don't want to just help Harry and get a good ending, i want to live this new life to the fullest and it's not a guy without a nose that is going to stop me.

"Excited for your first year at Hogwarts, Dylan ?" Tom's voice interrupted my reverie, pulling me back to the present moment.

I nodded eagerly "Absolutely, Tom. I can't wait to learn all about magic and everything Hogwarts has to offer."

After bidding farewell to Tom and the bustling atmosphere of the Leaky Cauldron, i took a taxi to King Cross station.

As I made my way through the bustling crowds of King's Cross Station, my heart raced with excitement at the prospect of boarding the Hogwarts Express. Amidst the sea of travelers, a familiar sight caught my eye, a bustling group of red-haired individuals, unmistakably the Weasley family.

"Hello, Mrs. Weasley! How are you?" I greeted her with a smile as I approached.

Mrs. Weasley turned to face me, her expression warm and welcoming. "Oh, Dylan! How was your summer? Are you ready to go to Hogwarts?"

I nodded eagerly "Absolutely, Mrs. Weasley. I can't wait !"

Then she introduced me to her children Charlie who is on his last year, Percy who is on his fourth year, Fred and George who are on their second year, Ron who is going to Hogwarts next year and her only daughter Ginny who is going in two years.

As the conversation with Mrs. Weasley and her children continued, I found myself swept up in their warmth and excitement.

Ginny, the youngest of the Weasley siblings, stood shyly by her mother's side, occasionally peeking out from behind her vibrant red hair. Sensing her quiet demeanor, I turned to Ginny and offered a friendly smile. "Are you excited for your turn to go to Hogwarts, Ginny?"

Ginny nodded, her cheeks flushing with color. "Yes, but it feels like forever until it's my turn."

"Well, before you know it, you'll be boarding the Hogwarts Express just like me and your brothers !" I told her, earning a grateful smile in return.

As the time to board the train drew near, Mrs. Weasley gathered her children for a final goodbye before Charlie, Percy, Fred and George runned into the wall to the platform 9 ¾

As I approached the barrier between platforms 9 and 10 a wave of nervous excitement washed over me.

I have watched the movies in my past life but i was still a bit nervous at the idea of walking through a wall.

Heart pounding, I runned to the wall and i felt a strange sensation, as if being gently pulled through a thick curtain of magic. A rush of cool air enveloped me, followed by a sudden warmth as I emerged on the other side.

[Hello everyone ! What house do you think he will go into and why ?]
