3 Chapter 3: Summoning the Shadow Bear

"System, check my panel." Wilkes sighed, trying to keep himself calm from the excitement.

[Host: Wilkes]

[Ability: Flame Pillar]

It can be considered as the most straightforward status panel in the world, except for Wilkes's name; there is only one additional piece of information.

This system was obtained when Wilkes first crossed to this world, and his only ability is getting a random legendary hero's inheritance. When the system was turned on, the' Flame Pillar' ability has been inherited by Wilkes.

[Flame Pillar: Consume mana to create a pillar of flame that soars to the sky.]

This ability also was Wilkes's only hidden card against Borgin.

This ability gave him the courage to enter Knockturn Alley for the first time. A blind wizard was directly burned to ashes by Wilkes using this Flame Pillar, causing them to not look down upon him ever since.

Because at the time, Wilkes did not use a magic wand!

Casting charms without a wand and the power of the "Flame Pillar" is terrifying. If I had not seen it with my own eyes, I am afraid that no wizard would believe that it came from a child under ten years old.

However, only Wilkes knows that after trying casting several times, he could launch "Flame Pillar" two or three times.

Moreover, it seems that he pressed his all luck. Since the first random ability inheritance, the system has never been triggered, and he does not know how to trigger the system.

Therefore, Wilkes did not hesitate to spend almost half of the wealth left by his parents to trade with Borgin, to enter Hogwarts to trigger the system again.

Sure enough, he did not forget the joy of triggering the system from the last time.

"System, draw." With the first experience, Wilkes was highly excited about this draw.

With the order of Wilkes, the system once again activated like the last time. The system panel began to show up brilliantly, but it dissipated again in a short time, then a few words appeared related to this new ability on the panel.

At the same time, the system's sound came again: [randomly inherited one of the abilities of the legendary hero:' Annie, the dark child']

[Congratulations to the host for acquiring the ability: Tibbers' Wrath]

[Tibbers' Wrath: Obtain a tamed ferocious shadow bear, which can be summoned at any time" Under normal conditions, it is in the form of a teddy bear"]

Wilkes was shocked when he heard the sound, watching a black teddy bear that was bigger than his palm suddenly appeared out of space in his hand. It seemed a little shabby, and there were even stitches on it.

However, Wilkes could feel that this teddy bear seemed to have a kind of special connection with him, and he could summon it at any time.

If it was not for his bad luck, summoning it in the room might directly break his ceiling; Wilkes would like to summon it now.

Wilkes glanced at his panel again and could not help but curl up his mouth into a smile:

[Host: Wilkes]

[Ability: Flame Pillar, Tibbers' Wrath]

Sure enough, there is one more ability on his panel.

And this ability does not need to consume one's mana; it can be said that it's the most suitable ability for him.

"Thus, I only need to wait for the start of the school, but before that, I still need to buy everything he needs, and then..." Wilkes began to look forward to studying at Hogwarts.

...

The next day, early in the morning, Wilkes couldn't help but letting Yule taking him to this deserted place, and he repeatedly trained with the "Tibbers' Wrath" that he had just inherited yesterday.

I have to say that this ability is unexpectedly powerful. Wilkes just threw the black teddy bear in his hand to the ground.

"Ho... Ho... Ho... Ho!!"

Immediately, the black teddy bear started to inflate like a balloon that kept expanding constantly, and suddenly, it turned into a giant bear that is several meters high and intermixed with darkness.

Bang... Bang... Bang..!

The giant bear was fierce, beating his chest continuously, roaring, while his saliva was splashing along his sharp teeth. Wilkes shook his hand helplessly and wiped the saliva with his hand.

Wilkes was very excited; he nodded with satisfaction, walked forward, and touched Shadow Bear's thigh; after all, his current height can only reach this level.

"That's not bad. Just follow me in the future. Soon, there will be times; I will need your help."

"Ho... Ho... Ho... Ho..." Shadow Bear seemed to understand his words, nodded with a naive expression, and sat on the ground.

The giant body of the Shadow Bear is even more significant than the giant troll in the movie.

"Young... young master, you deserve to be the most outstanding wizard of the Wilkes family!!"

"You must know that when Mr. Wilkes was as old as the young master, he hadn't even learned magic yet." Yule, the house-elf, seemed to be standing on the side. He was afraid of the Shadow Bear, hiding far away, and his voice was shaking.

Wilkes nodded, he was delighted with the ability of Tibbers' Wrath, and then turned his head to look at Yule behind him and said calmly:

"Yule, let's go to Diagon Alley, I still need to prepare a lot of things, and I hope there is enough Galleon left."
