8 | Durk
As they were walking towards the end of the cave, except for the sound of small lightning cracking at the end and around Storm there were no other sounds. A couple of minutes of walking later, they reached a large opening inside the cave. Inside the opening a wingless dragon was looking straight at them with eyes filled with wisdom.
Seeing the lightning dragon everyone except Storm and King bowed. Nodding at the gesture the dragon grunted and all of them raised their heads and again looked at the dragon. Seeing a thunderbird preaching on the shoulder of Eric the dragon spoke [I see that you have a new companion this time Eric.]
"Yes, her name is Storm. And Storm, this is Durk, the Fifth Lightning Dragon and Guardian of the Kingdom of Bhutan." Eric told Storm.
Nodding her head, Storm just observed the lightning dragon.
Durk just nodded at Storm and started to speak with the King about the situation in the kingdom as it is one of the reasons why the King came here.
Meanwhile, the Royal children were looking at Eric with amazement, because Eric spoke to the Guardian of The Kingdom, which is only possible by the King himself.
Seeing the visible sparkle in their eyes, Eric lied and asked "What is it?"
"How did you speak to Durk?" The First Princess asked.
Smiling at her Eric said with a little bit of mischief "Magic."
"Big brother Eric, we know that it's magic. But what kind of magic?" The Crown Prince asked.
Sighing at him Eric said "Don't ruin the fun kid."
"Please tell us." The rest of the kids also joined in asking Eric about it.
Nodding at them he said "It's as I said. It's magic. A magic I created and that can speak with any living being in the known universe. And it's called Allspeak."
"How did you do that?" Another princess asked Eric.
Looking at her he smiled and said "I got the inspiration to form Allspeak from the Norse Mythology and also from the American Comics Marvel. And they have also named it Allspeak so I just borrowed it."
"Wow.... " The kids said in unison. Then every single one of them looked at him with puppy-like eye's and asked "Teach us."
Chuckling at that, the first Consort said "Eric has been trying to teach kids too. But, it's not easy."
Nodding at that Eric said "It comes natural for me, but for others it's tough. So I have been tweaking it so that others can also learn about it." Pausing there he looked at all of them and said "Of course I have made it so that only I can teach this spell so it won't spread like wildfire as it should have."
"Why not?" The King asked Eric.
"Because, imagine everyone knows Allspeak and one of them is going to kill a chicken or a bull for its meat, then the chicken or bull pleads to let it go. What would you do in that situation."
Hearing that there was silence for a couple of seconds and Eric continued "Well, I'm just bullshitting, so you don't have to mind that."
Hearing that the kids started to pester him again to teach them Allspeak.
In the meantime Storm flew towards Durk and they had an interesting conversation that was only noted by the King and Eric. And hearing their conversation both of them started to sweat a little bit and Eric, who was not able to stand it any longer excused himself from the kids and went towards the Dragon and the Bird.
Looking at both of them Eric said with stress on each word "You. Will. Not. Be. Measuring. Who's. Thunderstorm. Is. The. Strongest!"
Hearing that both the dragon and bird looked at Eric, he looked at them too, not giving them an inch to score. Understanding that they can't do what they want to do, both of them went into downcast mode. Seeing that Eric said "We will do that in an island of mine that is in the middle of the Pacific Ocean." Hearing that both of them brightened up and Eric turned towards the King and asked "Will you be accompanying us, your Highness?"
"We all will." Replied the King.
Nodding at him Eric took out a link chain from his expansion pouch and said "Then, hold onto this link chain everyone."
As everyone did as he asked, even Storm and Durk and Eric channelled his mana through the chain, and within a second all of them disappeared from the cave.
