Olivia Greengrass POV

Date: February 14th 1973

'Its been a weird a couple of months at Hogwarts lessons are fine I enjoy potions and Charms as I now have them with with Valen who helps me and super nice to talk to and I kinda maybe like him, I spoke to mum about it and she thinks I should let him approach me but the dunderhead can't take hints a rumour then spread that he had someone he liked obviously spread by Potter and Black. I kinda got sad for the last week or so as he was speaking a lot to a call from Ravenclaw named Susan Bones a 2nd year but when I asked her she just said he was really smart and was just helping her with some charms'.

' I then employed a tactic my mum told me to use apparently it worked on dad which is a total dunderhead when it comes to feelings so maybe it would work on Valen to apparently I just need to distance myself and watch him come running back, sounds kinda stupid but worth giving a shot'.

Lily POV

'Yesterday my idiot brother finally realised he liked Olivia honestly he really is stupid sometimes'

"Hey Sis I need help urgently", the moron asked.

"What Valen we both have end of year test in a month?" she questioned to understanding what her idiot yet book smart needed help with

"Remember I told you I liked a girl back in September just so I could get everyone of my back and stop stopping me from training?". he spoke sheepishly.

"Yeah and then the 4 idiots decided to spread it, what about it?". I questioned

"Well I kinda think I do but am not sure as she stopped talking to me for a bit and I don't know what to say to her now, help, please?", the idiot said with cute puppy dog eyes.

"Olivia right?", I said while smirking and started to laugh with the shocked face of his and his jaw almost hitting the floor.

"H-How?".

"We eat together every lunch all you do is steal glances of her half the time I catch you in the act, simple as, plus I'm your sister I just know." I retorted.

"You know she is a keeper right after how she helped you with Regulus, she is easily the prettiest girl in your year she is tall just like you and she hasn't developed her assets yet plus she likes you that I'm for sure."

"How do you know?", my brother mumbled.

"Just do girls intitution, she's keeping her distance to see if you like her back something along those lines Alice has been doing it with Frank for a while now."

"Damn you girls be sneaky", he said as he scurried off.

'Moron'

Olivia POV

As I'm currently walking towards the Ravenclaw with my friendscommon room after dinner a sheepish yet sweet voice calls out to me.

"Hey Olivia, umm can we speak for a minute in private please" as I turn around to see who it is it. I almost jump when I realise Valen is standing there his white hair in a ponytail reflecting his deep sparkling blue eyes with two sections of hair falling down to the side of his face.

"Yeah sure something important?". I questioned.

"Yeah kinda, I'll make it quick I promise." he spoke this time a little more calmly.

We walked up the stairs near the top of the Ravenclaw tower, the half moon illuminating us and the stars shining brightly not a single cloud in the sky.

"So what's up?" I asked now sounding sheepish like he was.

"Why have u been avoiding me for the past 2 weeks?" he asked as he seemed kinda annoyed.

I just replied with "I don't know" just like mum told me to.

He then seemed a bit upset and asked cutely "Can you stop doing it".

'Okay do as exactly as mum said'

"Doing what exactly?" I said this time sweat kinda perspiring on my forehead.

"Avoiding me!" this time he raised his voice slightly straight away apologising.

"Why should I?" I asked hoping it would work.

His answer kinda shocked me but it was kinda right.

"I like you that's why dunderhead!" he exclaimed loudly enough for he crows on top of the roof to chirp and fly away.

'I can't believe mum's idea actually worked'

"Same Valen."

Valen POV

"WAIT SERIOUS", I exclaimed.

'What the hell it actually worked being upfront works damn I'm going to teach my kids this'

"so does that mean we are romantically involved?", I questioned.

"If you mean dating then yes Valen we are." she laughed somehow she does even that elegantly.

"So what do are we like Boyfriend and Girlfriend now?", I asked.

"Indeed Valen"

But to literally put me out of my misery she left a small peck on my cheek and it warmed me more than the holy fire has ever done.

To pour holy water on our fiendfyre however we heard a cat meow from down the hall as we walked back towards our dorms.

"Shit Ms. Norris what do we do?", I asked Olivia to which she just shaked her head.

We started running in the opposite direction as getting lost was much better then detention with Filch as our seniors told us.

As we reached the end of the corridor a giant door appeared to which we opened the door and slipped through to find a large bookcase filled with books and 2 separate beds as if the room new we were underage.

We sneaked in locked the door and just decided to crash here for the night.

Then a voice spoke softly almost like my mother as it gently welcomed us.

"Welcome to the room of requirements children hope you have a pleasant stay".
