Four wizards are gathered in a private room, in a serious and solemn atmosphere.

"Cygnus, good to see you, my friend," Lord Rosier said as he caught sight of his long-time friend.

"Your letter indicated that the matter was urgent," Cygnus Black's voice rang out, "and I see that you are accompanied," he asked curiously of the others present in the room for the meeting.

"These are chaotic times my friend, these are some allies willing to unite against Voldemort," Roseir explained the situation as he introduced the others in the room.

"These are people from the Greengrass and Bones families," he pointed to the two representatives of the other families.

"Greengrass and Bones? Octavius perhaps?" he thought, knowing that his son had met with the Greengrass family and made a good impression, and that he had some dealings with the Bones heiress.

"I appreciate you all being here today. As you know, Voldemort is growing in power and his threats become more dire with each passing day," Lord Rosier began the discussion.

The mood in the room grew sombre and Cygnus watched the conversation.

"Thank you for coming Lord Black, I'm Charles Greengrass, brother of the current head of the family," he introduced himself. "My daughter recently had a meeting with your son Octavius about our family's request for help and an alliance with the Blacks," the tall, black-haired wizard said.

"Yes, of course. I asked him to represent me," Cygnus recalled.

"Our family is in complete agreement with Lord Rosier on this matter. We believe it's time to unite, regardless of our family differences, to combat this common threat." Charles continued his speech by agreeing with Lord Rosier's position.

"Our family is prepared to offer support and resources to this alliance," Charles expressed what he could do for the alliance he was proposing. "The safety of our families and the welfare of our witch community are our top priorities," he said.

But Cygnus was no fool to be seduced by fine words. "As well as ensuring the safety of your profits, right?" he asked, revealing some of the Greengrass family's hidden agendas.

"Families like ours, who are business-minded, don't want to be forced to choose sides, it would affect our profitability," Charles explained.

Lord Black now looked at the other member in the room who hadn't yet spoken.

"I'm Richard Bones, my sister always talks about her son Octavius," the blond man introduced himself.

"Oh sure!" he said, already thinking about how to get Octavius to marry into the Bones family.

"The reports of atrocities committed by the Death Eaters are alarming. Our family is ready to fight alongside you all." The Bones had always been a family of great duellists, and Richard honoured their blood.

The Bones had always sided with Dumbledore's faction of the Light, but they had a vision of political gain and the elimination of opponents. Something Dumbledore was against, the Force of Light never attacked with the intention of killing the opponent.

"And what's the full situation, Rosier?" Cygnus asked, returning to the main topic.

"The new Dark Lord is gathering a large army of wizards and creatures of darkness." Rosier explained the size of Voldemort's forces. "However, some families are not joining his cause, but are seeking reinforcements on the side of Dumbledore and his faction of the Light."

"We need a solid plan. Voldemort is growing stronger, we must act before it's too late," commented the head of the House of Black.

"We can pool our resources to set up intelligence and espionage networks. I can act as a double agent, but it won't be easy, as my son is a devoted follower of Voldemort," Rosier explained his complicated position.

"The more we know about the movements of Voldemort and his followers, the better prepared we'll be to defend ourselves," Richard commented.

"Besides, we can work together to protect important locations, there are many shops that need protection," Charles said, referring to the shops in Diagon Alley.

Yes, some of the shops in Diagon Alley that we do business with have already contacted me," Cygnus said, remembering some of the letters he had received from shopkeepers a few days ago.

He planned to send Octavius to sort out some of these problems with the shopkeepers, so that he could gain more experience in the matters of contract negotiation that the Black Family possessed.

"Our members are skilled in duelling and protective spells," Amelia's older brother pointed out. "We can get some guards and share defence techniques so that we're better prepared in a direct confrontation."

We have to be careful with Voldemort, his army doesn't look weak, but he's already fought Dumbledore's forces," Cygnus commented. "And now, with our alliance, he'll have to divide his forces to deal with both sides."

"We must maintain constant communication and redouble our vigilance," Charles inquired.

"I thank you all for your willingness to put aside our differences for the greater good and profit," Lord Rosier laughed.

"We are all united by the same goal. The defeat of Voldemort is vital if the wizarding community is to continue to function," said Charles, knowing that without half-breeds or Muggle-borns, the labour he used on his herb farms would be even more expensive.

"Let's work together and fight," Richard agreed, knowing that his family would gain much political power with Voldemort's defeat.

The four wizards rose and left the room.

In an unusual scene, after the end of lunch in the Great Hall, Octavius Black and Severus Snape sat in a discreet corner of the Slytherin common room, potions books and parchments spread out on the table.

"Severus, I've noticed you've been spending a lot of time on Potions lately. What are you researching?" Octavius asked the young man who had suddenly sought him out today, delaying his plans with Narcisa and Amelia.

"I'm working on a variation of the Love Filter. I want to improve some of its properties to make it more stable and effective," the shy, gothic-looking Snape explained.

"Professor Slughorn referred me to you if I had any questions," he told Octavius.

'Slughorn?' Octavius pondered the motives behind the Potions Professor's actions.

"Interesting. You're very talented with potions," Octavius said, giving the Slytherin student a low grade.

"Thank you, Octavius. It's something that fascinates me deeply, the science behind potions, their nuances and the perfection of their execution. It's a world I'm comfortable in," Severus began, lost in thought as the preparation of potions made him forget about the Gryffindor students who played tricks on him every day and the unrequited love he felt for the Evans girl.

"I understand perfectly. Potions have a unique fascination. I'm more inclined towards spells and transfiguration, but I can't deny the complexity and power of a well-crafted potion," Octavius commented, making Severus less withdrawn.

"Professor Slughorn would be saddened to hear that," Severus said, remembering the professor's constant compliments about Octavius.

"Changing the subject, I'm having some problems with the Gryffindor jokes and taunts. It's getting complicated to deal with." Snape said sadly and pleadingly.

"Sirius and his friends, right?" Octavius asked, confirming what he already knew in part.

"Yes," Snape said a little anxiously, because Sirius was also a Black, just like Octavius.

"It is unacceptable for a black to be in Gryffindor and to be involved in such acts. Sirius is already frowned upon by many in our family," Octavius told the young Slytherin. "I will speak to some of the older Slytherin students to make sure these pranks stop," he assured Snape, thinking of using some of his followers.

"I appreciate that, Octavius. It's hard being here sometimes. I feel a bit isolated, except when I'm immersed in potions," Snape thanked him sadly.

Lucius had already tried to support him, but Severus was supposed to join Heir Malfoy's group of Voldemort followers, which Snape didn't want to do.

There's also Lucius Malfoy, he's been persistent in his attempts to get me to join a group," he added, already aware of the rumours of the standoff between the Blacks and the Malfoys.

"Lucius is trying to manipulate a lot of young students, don't be taken in by his words."

"It's a constant battle to resist his pressure," Snape said despondently, "I feel trapped."

"I'll be on my guard. I already have a few things to settle with him. You're far too talented to be involved with his group," Octavius expressed his concern.

So you'll be involved with my group," Octavius thought.

The two continued their conversation, exploring potions topics while Octavius planned ways to deal with the situations Severus Snape faced.

After the meeting with Severus, Octavius went to find Amelia to carry out the activities they had planned.

As he walked through the corridors of the castle, holding Amelia's hand.

A strange scene was also taking place.

A group of students from all the houses were sitting around a table, sharing secrets and whispering.

"Have you noticed how Octavius Black and Amelia Bones are always together lately?" said a blonde student.

"Yes! I think they're really close. I saw them talking after Defence Against the Dark Arts and they seemed really close," said another dreamy girl.

"Octavius even helped her with the tricky spells in the last Charms class. She's a very lucky bitch," a third girl exclaimed.

"I'd like him to look at me... like I'm the only person in the world I'd let him do anything to me," the blonde said with a flushed face, dreaming of spending nights with Octavius.

"Anything?" one of her friends asked curiously.

"Yes, my body would be completely his," the blonde said with a look that didn't deny her desire to be used by Octavius.

"I wouldn't mind being in the broom closet with him either. I'm even a little jealous, she has to let him do what he wants," the second girl was dying of envy.

"I just wanted him to look at me, my body is much better than hers," the blonde measured her breasts with her hands.

"If he wanted, I'd be tied to the bed so he could fuck me," the second girl revealed.

"I... think... I can use... my mouth... very well... my mum taught me," said the shyest of them.

"I doubt you can," the blonde scoffed. "It must be huge, I don't think it would fit between my breasts."

"Of course! It must be huge, it makes me wet to think of it being inside me. I'd moan a lot for him," said one of them.

The students continued to chat, exchanging indiscreet glances with Octavius, who walked past them with Amelia.

They weren't embarrassed at all, they just wanted Octavius to notice them and take them to bed.
