5 Chapter 5: Another World

- One Piece World ~ Conomi Islands -

If anyone had looked into the sky at that moment, they would have been scared out of their minds since, at the moment, there was a weird-looking door appearing there that opened itself seemingly from the other side of the door, even though nobody was standing on the other side. Even more surprising was the black-haired teenager who had just walked out of this door. Some seconds ago, the only thing you could see was a black hole inside the door, so how could someone suddenly step out of it?

When Harry stepped outside the door, he first looked surprised but quickly started to panic since he just walked out of the Worldgate and instantly stood an estimated 10m over a village that he saw for the first time. 

"Don't panic. You won't fall. Like I said, I first want to give you something that can help you in this world and even in your own world; it's something important to life here." Death said slowly.

"And what exactly is that?" Harry asked while slowly calming down his nerves.

"A Life lesson. You can't go too naive into this world, or you would be dead before you know it. We are now 20 years in front of your normal timeline. I will show you how this world works in a 20-year time-lapse. I will forward the time quickly and stop at some important scenes. Of course, nobody will be able to see us. And for the record, you won't be able to help. You will only watch until it is your original time."

Death showed Harry the vision of one specific island for the next three days. It was three days for Harry, but in reality, it was the past 20 years of this island. He saw everything that happened on this island.

Seeing everything in front of him without being able to help hurt Harry badly. 

The once excited, lively, and peaceful village was invaded by some weird gang of weird-looking people. 'They called them Fishman, I think?' thought Harry. 

The voices from 10m up in the air weren't that good, and many things escaped his ears, but he didn't need to hear the voices to know that the people who invaded the village weren't good people. 

All over the island, they collected money monthly, and everybody who couldn't pay was killed.

To randomly kill without any good reason. 'It's like the Death Eaters and Voldemort.'

There were many villagers killed in these 20 years of time, and Harry had to look at every single one of them for the past three days in real-time. Another thing he saw and touched him were two little girls losing their mother in front of their eyes. 

It was like he saw his own past. 

Of course, that wasn't the only time something like that happened on this island, but this time, it seemed like the orange-haired girl made some kind of deal with that Fishman who killed her mother.

The deal would protect the two sisters and even her whole village.

The other villages were still the same, but her own was way more relaxed after that deal. It didn't mean they weren't supressed by the fishman but at least they could life normally.

He saw the other villagers blaming her at the start for joining the gang that terrorized them. 

It reminded Harry of his own life a bit. 

How in Hogwarts, he was always the scapegoat for everything happening in the castle and how he was only an attention-seeking brat in the minds of other students and teachers.

Harry himself was bullied a lot in his years.

In this case, the girl was lucky, and when they saw the Fishman relaxing a bit more in their village, they suddenly understood why the small girl left.

Harry, who was now more fixed on the orange-haired girl, watched how she grew up in this environment and how she left the island many times only to return with money and wounds on her whole body.

Every time she returned, Harry could see the girl sitting in the gangster's headquarters, secretly crying while looking in the direction of her own village.

The once cruel things evolved into a routine, and now, after 20 years, Harry still didn't understand what Death wanted to show him. 'Maybe?' thought Harry after thinking about something.

"So you want to tell me that some people don't deserve to live?" Harry asked Death hesitantly with a sad kind of voice. 

Even he himself was surprised that he could come to such a conclusion.

"Yes. Don't be too naive. Some people just don't deserve to live. So many tragedies could be hindered if only one person died. With his second, third, fourth, and fifth chances, Dumbledore just won't cut it. Sometimes, you have to kill to make your own or the lives of others better. I know you already killed that one teacher of yours, and you had to counsel yourself since Dumbledore didn't bring a mind healer, so your hesitation isn't that high, but I give you a little tip for the future. First, kill all your enemies and then think about your actions. If you get depressed in the middle of the fight, you will probably die." said Death.

"But now that everything is finished, I will leave you alone for the first time in almost 15 years of your life. I wish you a good life and all the best. Maybe we will see each other again in the future. I will now go and collect my relics. By the way, one of them is your Invisible Cloak."

Before Death left him for probably the last time, Harry still thanked him for giving him this chance to live again.

The moment Death left, Harry could feel himself fall slowly to the ground, and after some seconds, he safely landed on the island's ground for the first time.

'Now I am all alone again.'

"Nevermind. I have to be stronger if I want to kill that big fish. I am sure I could kill them with some spells, but when that Tonks woman dropped me back into my room, she also took my wand. In the first place, I don't think I could kill them all with magic only."

Thinking about all his options, he could only think about the one year of training that he still had from his free gift. 

He already knew what to do in the end, and even before coming into this world, he wanted to do that but was stopped by Death.

"Activate Training Room," Harry commanded.

"Crush Crush Fruit."

[Training room is generated. Transport the user into the training room in 3 seconds. 2 seconds. 1 second.]

Before Harry could say anything, he was transported into another space again.

When Harry looked around, he saw many trees and mountains surrounding him. It seems like he can fully train his Crush Fruit here.

'That will be a hard year.' Harry thought before he officially started his training.
