The next morning I opened the map to take a look at it.

The map is normally disguised as a blank piece of parchment. To view the map, one must tap it with one's wand and recite, "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." The content of the map will then reveal itself.

It was a detailed map of the castle and it also showed the user location on the map. It kinda like GPS, it made me miss my smartphone, I was stuck in the 90s.

There were more than two hundred rooms mapped in the parchment, it also showed the people in and around the room that have been marked.

It only shows the people in the room and path that had already mapped. Hogwarts Castle has so many rooms, that only the founders and headmaster know the exact count. James and his friends spend most of their time drawing this map, it shows how a large Hogwarts castle is.

Some people speculate Hogwarts castle is a sentient being. It changes the room arrangement from time to time, if, so I need to verify the map, to look for any possible changes. If there is any new finding, I can add to the map. I know a place where I can get a complete map of the castle, but it will take some time to get it on my hands.

I carefully examined the map and memorized its content, even without homunculus charm, the map is extremely valuable along with the secret room and its passwords.

Harry Potter gets the marauders map in his third year. So I have two years before I figure out the working of homunculus charm, and draw the new layout of Hogwarts.

Yes. I plan on giving it back to the Harry potter myself. I worked hard to get it on my hands. Is it just to give it to the potter?. No, unlike the twins I won't give it for free, isn't house potter, is one of the ancient families of Great Britain.

I will plan it for later, now I need to get ready for the Halloween incident.

Now, I need to find a secret room which is well hidden and not in use. I don't want a room often used by others or a room which has been used in recent years. I will set a temporary lair there for now

I looked at the map for a safe passage between the Slytherin common room and all my classes. Interesting. There is also a secret room in the dungeons of the potions room. I am sure Snape is using the room for his dual spy role

To hide the contents of the map, one must again tap it and recite, "Mischief managed."

I don't know why the wizards and witches are crazily obsessed with Halloween like muggles.

In Hogwarts, certain places, including the common rooms and the Great Hall, are decorated with Halloween decorations in October and early November.

The Hallowe'en Feast at Hogwarts occurs on the 31st of October every year.

What is wrong with this world? Is j.k Rowling obsessed with Halloween? Every major incident occurs on Halloween.

In the first-year, during the Hallowe'en feast was interrupted by the arrival of a twelve-foot Mountain Troll. Harry Potter and Ron Weasley saved Hermione Granger from the Troll in the girls' bathroom.

In Second-year, Ginny Weasley, under the influence of Tom Riddle's Diary, opened the Chamber of Secrets for the first time in fifty years. The basilisk that was released from the Chamber and it starts petrifying muggle-born wizards and witches in the castle.

In the third-year, Sirius Black enters Hogwarts Castle and attacks the Fat Lady when she refuses to give him passage to Gryffindor Tower.

In the fourth-year, the Goblet of Fire chooses the Triwizard champions — Viktor Krum for Durmstrang; Fleur Delacour for Beauxbatons; Cedric Diggory for Hogwarts; and an unexpected fourth champion, Harry Potter.

I knew what was going to happen today, so I was prepared beforehand.

Flitwick begins teaching his students how to make things fly, using the Wingardium Leviosa spell. Only Hermione succeeds; Ron, offended by her air of superiority, utters a nasty comment that Hermione overhears. Which made her run off in tears.

Hermione didn't turn up for the next class and wasn't seen all afternoon.

On their way down to the Great Hall for the Halloween feast, Harry and Ronoverheard Parvati Patil telling her friend Lavender that Hermione was crying in the girl's bathroom.

During the Hallowe'en feast, Professor Quirrell announced about a twelve-foot troll in the building.

As the prefects lead the students back to their dorms, Harry realises that Hermione does not know about the troll. They head off to warn her and come upon the troll. Unwittingly, they lock it in the girls' bathroom only to realise that Hermione is trapped in there with the troll.

Two of them manage to knock out the troll. Professor McGonagall finds them and begins to scold the boys. Hermione interjects, saying that she went to face the troll herself and that Ron and Harry had tried to save her from it. At this point, Hermione befriends them.

I came early to the feast, ate something and took some of it in my pocket, and left.

Everyone is present in the feast since I am a loner, no one will notice my absence. I already informed Daphne that I will leave early during the feast to sleep, if she started to search for me.

Though all the students and teachers are present in the great hall feasting Halloween feast, I still cast the basic Invisibility Charm on myself to ensure not to be seen in visible eyes.

I could only cast the basic Invisibility Charm to make a target area invisible, it can still be seen through, if anyone looks carefully. But with almost no one present in the common room, I made my way to the girl's bathroom.

I cast Revelio Charm on myself.

'Revelio'

I started to materialize and become visible again. The Revelio Charm is a charm used to reveal concealed objects.

There were many small cabins in the room

'Homenum Revelio'

Homenum Revelio is the incantation of a charm which reveals human presences in the surrounding environment.

Soon I found her in the fourth cabin on my right side, as I went near the cabin I could hear her faint sobbing.

"Hermione you in there?" I knocked on the door of the toilet.

"Jason, is that you?" Hermione questioned in a low voice.

"Yeah. It's me open the door" I nudged her to open the door

She opened the door a few seconds after fixing her face, " what are you doing here?" She questioned me with her red eyes, which she got from crying.

"I heard you haven't been to any classes since morning and haven't seen you on Halloween and learned that you've cried in the bathroom, so I came searching for you" she was baffled as I explained to her.

"Growl' sound came from her stomach, which made her face turn a shade of red in embarrassment.

"Ah. I nearly forgot what I came for" I handed her some food to eat, which I took from the Halloween feast.

"Mmm. Thanks" she accepted it while trying to hide her embarrassed face. She started to eat.

"That's what friends are for right?" I smiled at her

"Friends eh?" She muttered in a low voice.

" So what happened?" I asked her

"Nothing, just feeling homesick" she looked down as tears threatened to fall off her eyes.

"don't worry, winter holidays are upon us" I consoled her bit and made some small talk.

It's been a few minutes since I came here, Professor Quirrell must have announced about the troll in the castle by now. With my superior hearing, I can hear loud footsteps in the castle.

"Well, I gotta go now and don't forget to go before the curfew kay?"

" And do not mention it to anyone, I don't want to be labelled as a pervert" as I chuckled at her.

"Don't worry Jason, we're friends right?" She reassured me with a smile.

" Then I will be going first" as I left the room.

As soon as I left the room I quickly cast the invisibility charm on me again and entered back stealthily.

I only came here to gain Hermione trust, not battling the fucking troll.

Though I may have a tiny bit of a hero complex in me, I don't have a death wish in fighting the troll. I leave that part to Harry Potter.

I moved to the last cabin of the room and chanted the incarnation as I pushed the door. It revealed the secret room.

After seeing this secret room on the marauder map, it made me doubt the founders of Hogwarts. Who would build a secret room in the girl's bathroom, he must have quite a fetish of peeping on young girls. And there is a chamber of secrets in another bathroom, it confirms my theory. who am I kidding? I am just going to use the room as they intended.

I stood near the entrance of the door waiting to see the mountain troll. I hear the footsteps nearing the bathroom. Hermione, who was inside the little cabin, hasn't noticed the giant troll entering the room.

A foul stench spread across the room, followed by the shuffling footsteps of gigantic feet. A gigantic figure, Twelve feet tall, mountain troll with its legs thick as tree trunks, and holding a huge wooden club in its hand slowly entered the room.

'Bam' as soon as the troll entered the room, the door was shot from outside. It must be Harry and Ron's doing.

Hermione, who heard the loud slamming of the door, opened the little cabin only to find the giant troll in the bathroom

"Aaa-aah" high, a petrified scream reverberated throughout the room.

"Hermione!" Ron and Harry shouted together from outside.

Hermione Granger was shrinking against the wall opposite, the troll was advancing on her. Suddenly the door was pulled open by Harry, as he threw the tap at the wall to confuse the troll.

The troll stopped a few feet from Hermione. Blinking stupidly, to see what had made the noise.

"Confuse it!" Harry said desperately to Ron.

"Oy, pea-brain!" Yelled Ron from the other side of the room, it paused again, turning its ugly head toward Ron instead, giving Harry time to run around it.

"Come on, run, run!" Harry yelled at Hermione, trying to pull her toward the door, but she couldn't move, she was still flat against the wall, her mouth opened with terror.

The troll roared again and started toward Ron, who was nearest and had no way to escape.

Harry took a great running jump and managed to fasten his arms around the troll's neck from behind and stuck his wand in its nose and jumped back.

The troll howled with pain.

'Wingardium Leviosa'

Ron pulled out his own wand and cast a levitating charm on the troll's wooden club. The club flew suddenly out of the troll's hand, rose high up into the air, and dropped onto its owner's head.

'Thud' the room trembled as the troll fell on the floor.

I moved into the secret room, closed the door, and opened the map, waiting to see the incoming professors.

Professor McGonagall, closely followed by Snape, with Quirrell entered the room. They discussed for a few minutes before leaving the room.

Professor McGonagall has called Flinch to take care of the troll and left the room with others as the troll is unconscious.

Since I was under the invisibility charm, I moved out of the room and went near the troll.

I took the enchanted syringe from my pocket, which I had already prepared and pushed it against the troll's skin to collect its blood. I also took a small piece of its skin and left the room quietly.
