14 Ch. 13 A deal has been made.

An:- I have something to say thank you all for the response and from it, I clearly understood where I need to drive this story. I will give an explanation about why the bach of 1991 is having classes together. I would like to thank all of you for supporting me and giving me a clear direction as to where I should go. And since I didn't have a clear consensus about the yearly yule ball concept I had proposed I will leave a yes and no on so please comment on that to let me know. For the first years, it will be like a Christmas party and for 4 years and above it will be like a prom. If you guys don't like It I still have something else in mind so let me know.

"Oye wake up you dunderhead!" I heard an old man's voice in the dead of the night. I jumped up on my bed and took out my wand ready to fight to the death. but I couldn't see anyone in my room at first I thought that I was just hearing things and decided to go to forget about it and go to sleep.
But then again "Oye wake up you fool I am trying to talk to you". I again checked my room but no one was there I thought I was going crazy and I decided to ask "Who are you? and where are you?"
A voice came "I am down under come and find me I want to talk with you". I then thought that it must be the Basilisk who wants to talk with me but it didn't speak in parseltongue it was normal English. So I thought to myself who could it be I then replied "Do you mean the chamber of secrets?"
A reply came "Yes, I want you to come to the chamber of secrets". I was very intrigued as to who could it be, who was calling me.
I replied, "I can't exit the dorms Filch might be patrolling the corridor."
the voice said "Just follow my instructions, go to the fireplace of your common room"
I decided to follow the man's instruction and carefully moved to the fireplace in the common room as I got there the voice again said.
"Now I need you to push the fifth brick from the lower second column twice and say Apertus."
I decided to put my worry aside and continued to follow instructions from the voice. And as soon as I did what he had asked me to a chute was presented before me I looked at it and asked "You want me to get inside this?"
The voice replied in an annoyed tone "Don't be a baby just get inside the chute it is completely safe" and in an undertone said"probably?"
I then just gathered my courage and just went inside. It was a long ride that probably took me about 45-50 seconds but the feeling of dread came when there was nothing soft to land on it. I then took out my wand and said "arresto momentum" slowing me down.
As I landed on my feet I was about to cure at the voice but then I saw a large door which was made of pinewood and two old iron door knockers. I then walked up to the door and tried to open it and after few moments I was successful to do so.
As I walked inside I was blown away I saw a huge portrait of Salazar Slytherin. The room itself was amazing the moss-covered stonewall the huge ceiling which didn't have any candle but was lit up with the help of runes as seen in the ministry, there were various rooms inside. It was decorated with rugs and portraits and certain grace to it. As I was looking around the room a voice came from the portrait.
"You sure took your time to come here" It was the portrait that spoke, "I have been meaning to speak with you Mr....?".
" Aditya Chatterjee". I spoke in an indifferent manner.
"Me. Chatterjee allow me to welcome you to my chambers please don't mind the state of the chambers it was once glorious but now it's a former husk of its ow self all because of my foolish student"
"You mean to say it was even greater than this?". I asked.
" Yes it was but sadly all of it was stolen by my student".
"Who were your successors?" I asked.
"It was a bloody integrate, vile and a pathetic creature!".
He was angered by the mere mention of his successor. I truly wondered what Voldemort had done to anger his master to such an extent.
I tried to probe further " If you hate him so much why did you made him your successor?"
"I never knew that he would betray me and stole that ring and turned it into a Horcrux."
I didn't know that Tom had betrayed him, to say the least, it was a shocking revelation.
"Well, what do you want from me?" I asked.
"I want you to get me my heir ring back to me".
" And what would I get for completing this quest of your".
"You will gain access to this chamber and all of the remaining possessions in it and I will help you with anything you want".
It was a tempting offer and an easy one to complete because I already have the location of the ring".
I asked, "Say that I accept your quest how and where I would find your ring?"
"I sort of know where it might have been hidden?"
"Okay, then I will do this job."
"Brilliant now it might be hidden at the Gaunts shack at little hangleton".
After getting the information I already knew I asked him "Why did you task me with this job?"
He said, "Because you were the only one who answered."
(An:- it was a faint message sent to Hogwarts many students were not able to pick up on it because of their low magical sensitivity and why he choose 1 years is a suspense I am trying to create).
and I thought that is a good reason as any but why did he picked a 1 year for this job though. After our deal, I asked him "Before I go and do this task, I would like some advance payment of sorts?"
His face had a disgusting smile and he looked at me and said "A very ambitious boy you are, What is it that you desire from me?"
I said, "I would like a Basilisk fang if possible?"
He looked at me in disbelief and asked "how do you know about the Basilisk?"
I answered, "From the school's history book of course where else?"
He grunted at me and said, "Fine you will get your fang, let me call him."
I interrupted "Not so fast, I would like to get it after I am out of here I wouldn't wanna be near a XXXXX level creature. So kindly prepare the fang by tomorrow and I would give you the ring as soon as I find it. It may take some time but I will return it to you."
"Very well, now off you go it will be dawn in a few hours."
I asked "Quick question how do I go up?"
He pointed toward a sort of an old rudimentary lift in corner of the room.
I asked, "Does that thing even work?"
He shrugged and said, "I think so I have told the house-elf to clean it once every year."
I got inside the 'Elevator' hoping that it would work and pressed the up button"
It was a rocky ride but I got to the fifth floor with all my limbs intact.
I then had to covertly move to the common room I was fortunate I didn't run into anyone.
After reaching my room I was finally able to relax I looked at the watch and realise it was about 3:25. I then decided to get some sleep. Thinking about today I decided to make my version of the marauder's map. If I know correctly It uses the Homunculus charm over a normal map. The charm is also used for portraits as well.
I also thought about why Salazar would want the ring it was very confusing.
As I was about to go to sleep a house-elf appeared before me he had the Basilisks' fang in his hand and said master had sent you your payment.
I then put on my dragonhide gloves and took the fang and put it inside my briefcase. I then just crashed onto my bed and fell asleep.
