Chapter 70: Flourish and Blotts

Before William left Flourish and Blotts in front of him his grandfather appeared with a book in his hand.

"Are you finished?" asked Lord Rosier without taking off the book.

"Yes, I got everything I need for this year."

"Then we must return to the manor, you must rest as much as possible before returning to Hogwarts" lord Rosier closed his book and led the way for his grandson to follow.

As they walked down the stairs both Rosier's noticed some attention grabbing discussion, then attention was diverted to them as well, one of the problems of belonging to a famous family.

"Thomas Rosier" the smug voice entered William's ears, they were pointing at his grandfather.

"Lucius Malfoy" the sharp eyes of the head of the family widened slightly, perhaps only William had noticed it in those present.

"Seeing you old hermit in this place is amazing, of course the reason you are leaving the old castle must be..." Lucius focused his gaze on the boy behind Lord Rosier "your grandson .... What was your name?"

"William."

"Ah, right. William Rosier, it's really wrong of me to forget the name of the young wizard hero of South America" Lucius had an arrogant smile on his face, he really enjoyed teasing others "Thomas I believe I heard that your son was selected into the great Gryffindor house of which of course, the prestigious Weasley family is a participant isn't it Arthur?"

William didn't say anything at all, there was no need to because the person in front of him looked like a bomb seconds away from exploding, he didn't show his emotions on his face, he remained composed at all times, but his index finger was tapping the elegant black cane he had left the manor with earlier.

"But that's not all, now they're mixing with muggles" Lucius' nose wrinkled showing his displeasure "I wouldn't expect a Rosier to try to be just like the Weasleys or does your grandson want to be a second Sirius Black?"

Lucius' attention went straight to Harry who was standing between the Weasleys "History could repeat itself don't you think that's the best development of all Thomas?"

Lord Rosier didn't stand still any longer and slowly descended, coming up to where Lucius was standing and then opened his mouth "Watch your words Malfoy, you're out of luck."

The sparks between the two heads of the family were almost visible to everyone, then Lucius out of nowhere turned around "Come on Draco."

Lord Rosier followed suit turned to the door, not looking at anyone present as if they were invisible "Follow me William, we must return to the manor"

"Yes."

Both Rosier's walked then William could see Hermione Granger among the Weasley's, it was the normal, then toothy made no real changes to the original story.

They both walked down Diagon Alley for a moment, ready to disappear once more and return to the manor, then out of the blue lord Rosier opened his mouth "She's your half-blood friend?"

"Friend, who?"

"She was among the Weasleys, a half-blood."

"How did you know?"

"who do you think I am boy?" to the old man I look aside "I have decades of experience, I know when a wizard is pureblood born even when they are trying to hide their identity, the same goes for half-bloods. They don't know when to back down, they don't know respect for purebloods and they think our customs don't apply to them. Besides she was looking at you since you were coming down the stairs."

"Yes?"

Seeing the expression on his grandson's face Lord Rosier couldn't help but smile "no, that's a lie. She only noticed you when Lucius said your name."

William said nothing, instead he turned and crossed his arms, he didn't need his grandfather teasing him now.

"Very well, it's time to go back, I mustn't remind you to stay close to me at all times" at that moment both Rosier's disappeared from Diagon Alley.

Arriving at the manor William immediately returned to his room, he had many things to prepare before returning to Hogwarts.

"Everything is just as I remember it" William murmured looking at the state of his room, there was not a speck of dust and this was the responsibility of Vorona the mansion's house elf, then as he approached the bed to rest he could notice some cards stacked on the table to one side.

"Cards?"

William picked up the letters in his hands and gave them a glance to see who the sender was.

"This is a letter from Cho and this is from Hermione, even Hagrid wrote me a letter. They must have gotten here because I was in Castelobruxo and they must think I didn't want to reply."
