12 Chapter-12: Start of a new life in Hogwarts

Theo woke up very early in the morning. As he woke up, he looked outside the window, the sky was having its first ray of light indicating the sun is about to rise.

Looking around he saw all his three new roommates as fast as sleep. As he was tired yesterday, he fell asleep before them.

Looking to his right, he saw Terry sleeping on the bed next to his. And next to his bed was Anthony Goldstein's bed, then Michael Corner's, respectively. They both are also fast asleep.

It became a habit of Theo to wake up early in the morning. But the habit intensified due to the intensive training past six months at the villa of his grandpa Blake.

Since he is fully awake, there is no use in staying on the bed. So, he got up from bed, freshen up, got ready, and went downstairs to the common room.

After coming to the common room, he didn't find anyone. So, seeing the chance looked around a bit.

The common room is the same as he saw yesterday. But three things attracted him.

One, how airy the place is. He felt his dormitory was airy as well last night. Theo loves airy places. So, this place is perfect for him which made him proud to choose this house.

The next thing that attracted him was the stunning senary of morning light coming from the back of the distant mountain looking out from one of the arched windows.

Lastly what he found the most interesting or fascinating about this common room was the small library. Even though it is small, there is a lot of useful books here. And he was sure that by the time the school year finishes, he can finish all the books in this place.

After finishing looking around the common room Theo got out and went downstairs through the spiraling staircase.

After reaching down out he brought out a small piece of parchment. Looking at it shows the outline of the entire Hogwarts campus. It was given to him by Blake.

Using the map Theo found out where he is, then went towards the direction of the middle courtyard.

After coming to the courtyard, he sat down on the grass started meditating using his magic sense.

Using it he senses the surrounding mana, then he interacts with it to form a connection.

And after forming it, he actively tries to absorb and release mana like breathing to become perfectly one with nature. It's one of the exercises he created after finding out his ability.

When doing this exercise he found out that, it helps to increase the quality and quantity of mana. It also increases the recovery rate the body required to recover mana.

Besides that, he found out another interesting effect. it improves both his body and spirit. This improvement helps to improve all magic-related work done by him. it also rejuvenates his body.

Theo calls this exercise Magic Yoga. After that, he does some regular workouts. He doses that for an hour.

After the workout, he restores himself by doing the meditation again.

Because of this systematic exercise, Theo is healthier, stronger, and has a high amount of mana than his contemporaries.

After finishing it, Theo stood up and took out a small bag from his robe.

From the bag, Theo brought out a handful of marbles and thrown them down the ground.

Then by lifting his hand and channeling raw mana, he lifts the marbles (without casting any levitating magic or charm but pure raw mana) and started doing some complex movements in the air.

Then by using his other hand he tries to change the size and shape of the marble. But the moment the marble started to change, Theo loses control over his magic.

This causes him to lose control over the marbles. As a result, the marbles disintricated from the pure mana.

He tried a few more times getting the same result. But he continued until he is tired. He took a rest to recover himself.

Then he took out his wand waved around the dust to reform the marvel. After that he did the exercise once again but this time with his wand.

It is an exercise to have control over his mana and improvement of his transfiguration magic.

It's the next stage of the exercise that he did at the villa showed by his grandpa.

He stumbled across this after doing a few experiments after learning about children subconsciously using magic.

While using his wand, he can change all the marbles but can't keep it for a long time.

But he didn't give up instead continued the practice and did it over and over again.

While Theo was practicing, a certain someone was watching it from a tower.

It was none other than Dumbledore. He is also an early riser. So, when he got, he felt a strong magical fluctuation coming no very far from him.

Curious, he followed the fluctuation and came close to the window. Looking outside the window, he saw a boy in the middle courtyard doing some magic practice.

To find out who it was, he apparated close to the courtyard. And upon closer inspection, it shocked him. What he saw was a first-year that recently joined Hogwarts doing something extraordinary.

Even though whatever he is trying to do ended up being a failure but getting where he is a feat on its own.

Sensing extraordinary magic from the boy and his talent, Damoldore smiled a little and thought Hogwarts got a very talented, hardworking young wizard.

He stayed there for a while, watching whatever Theo is doing, and left silently.

Theo finished whatever he was doing and left for the grand hall as the sun rose fully and brighten the morning.

Entering the hall, he found a lot of people already having their breakfast.

On the Ravenclaw table, he saw other than the seniors, only two of his year mate.

"Good morning, Lisa," said Theo while sitting opposite to them, then looked at the girl beside her,

"You too Miss Patil."

"Morning, Arthur," Both of the girls replied. But later, the girl beside Lisa added,

"Just call me Padma if you will."

"Sure thing," Theo said while fixing his breakfast. While eating, he asked,

"If I am not wrong we only have three classes today right."

"Yes, Charms, Potion, and Defense against dark arts," Padma replied.

While they were having breakfast and few chats, soon every one of the first years was present at the table with Terry being first to arrive.

With all of them gathered, they once again reintroduced themselves and had some friendly exchanges.

By the time they finished their introductions, it was already time for their first class.

So, Theo along with the rest of the group went to their first class which is Charm.

This class is attended by both Ravenclaws and Gryffindors. So, when they entered they were the first group to arrive.

Inside they saw a very tiny little man. He is none other than Professor Flitwick, our head of the house.

When he saw us he said,

"Welcome...Welcome to your first charms, please take your seats. Let's wait for others before we start the class."

We took our respective seats and waited for the Griffindor students to arrive. While waiting Theo fixed his desk by bringing out his charms book, few parchments, an ink bottle, and a feather.

But they didn't have to wait that long as the lions arrive a few moments later.

First to arrive was Hermione along with Neville. Seeing them arriving Theo waved which they returned.

One by one rest of the Griffindores arrived with Ron and Harry being last.

With everyone arrived the first class of Hogwarts officially started.

Professor Flitwick is a very good teacher. But due to his tiny size, he had to stand on top of a stack of books in order to be seen over his desk.

Although he is tiny, he is an exceptionally powerful wizard, he was a dueling champion when he was young other than that there is an aura of wisdom around him which might be one of the reasons why he is the head of Ravenclaw's house.

But he still has a silly nature in his personality what makes him very jolly-minded and approachable.

But if you underestimate him for his personality, you will be in a hell of pain when you cross him.

Because behind his nature is a powerful wizard with great wisdom and intelligence.

Theo experienced it firsthand on the first class of the very first day. At the start of the class, Professor introduced charm to us by showing many cool charms. Making everyone including Theo awestruck. Then he said,

"Before we dive into our first topic, I like to do a roll call."

So, he started roll call and when he reached Harry's name, he gave an excited squeak before falling to the ground out of sight.

Seeing such a scene left Theo speechless.
