14 the third year begins

soon the school year had begun and ryan once again took up the role of assistant professor to the defence against the dark arts, however, the new professor for that dumbledore had hired, Remus lupin was someone very close to the potter household, as such ryan knew for a fact that this man was a very competent teacher,that is of course when you ignore his more, beastly side on the full moons,

right now the said man was sleeping in the compartment room of the golden trio under the exasperated gaze of ryan,

"pan, do not even think about it," ryan said to the Bowtruckle, as he sensed what kind of mischief the creature was up to, during the past days, ryan had decided to name the Bowtruckle as pan after the nature god from Greek mythology,

as the kids began to talk among themselves, ryan sensed the train stopping on top of a bridge, following which he sensed dementors boarding the train, as ryan was already informed by the ministry about the search for Pettigrew, he did not panic but the kids were a completely different case, they were already panicking as a dementor entered the cabin, after finding that there was no one here, it was about to leave when suddenly, it turned towards harry and started using its power to suck out souls, however, before ryan could act, Adam was enraged that a lower creature would dare harm the brother of its creator, so it used its power to create white thunder bold with properties of water mixed into it, although it is a magical creature, in the end, a dementor is still a living creature, hence the result was obvious,

it was turned to dust which then became soggy thanks to the water property, Adam then used his fire ability to dry it off and then wind element to make the dust go out of the train,

the now awake lupin and the other two kids looked stupidly at the bird which once again yawned and started sleeping again,

they then started staring at ryan who looked at them and asked,

"What??"

right now at the centre of the hall of Hogwarts, dumbledore was busy announcing about the escape of Pettigrew and the dementors guarding the gates of Hogwarts,

in the meanwhile, ryan was busy discussing with hagrid about how to take care of a Bowtruckle

"You only need to take it near a tree from which wands are made so that it can feed"

"but what if it is attacked by another Bowtruckle??" ryan asked to which hagrid shook his head,

"Bowtruckle do not attack their kind, they only attack those that try to chop down their trees, so there should be no problem, besides, there are many wand trees in the forbidden forest, you can take him there to feed," he said to which he nodded

after dumbledore was done announcing hagrid as the professor for the care of magical creature and lupin as the new professor for defence against the dark arts, the party began as the kids began stuffing themselves with food while ryan kept a watch on Hermoine who guiltily turns away he gazes from him,

soon classes begin and the kids attend them throughout the week, on the weekend the time comes for the class of mysteries,

this leads us to the current situation,

"now as discussed in the last semester, what are the three basic magecraft that a magus begins with??" ryan asked to which many kids raise their hands

"ah Nevil, go ahead!!" ryan said to which the boy stood up and said,

"th-the structural analysis, alteration and projection"

"very good, now can anyone tell me how these crafts are useful for an ordinary wizard??, yes granger??" he said in a sharp voice to which the said girl flinched and answered,

"structural analysis will be useful for finding information about a magic circle or a place in particular to find hidden traps or to see how a device functions, the alteration can help an animagus look more like an animal or to alter an object to the finest level which is not possible for the transfiguration spell, projection can be used in lectures to make the students better understand a subject by creating a hollow copy" she said to which ryan nodded

"so, today we will be learning about channelling your prana into a jewel to use later as a form of a battery, this craft is called jewelcraft"

soon the classes came to an end and the final class was about the care for magical creatures was about to begin, meanwhile ryan was sitting in his office observing everything using his magic to project a micro camera that would not be invented until the late 2040s,

"that girl has chosen to ignore my warnings, I guess she will have to find out the hard way" he mumbled as he observed Hermoine as she asked hagrid to take the injured Malfoy to the hospital wing,
