34 Chapter 34

Voldemort looked very mad and loudly said," You will pay for your transgressions. If I didn't have had to waste my time checking your bundles of homework, I would have had more time to obtain the Philosopher stone. You wasted so much of my time, if not for you I could have obtained it. But, enough of that, now it is time for you to pay."

Voldemort looked at his minions and loudly ordered, " I will punish this mongrel myself, None of you shall interfere."

While he was saying this I pulled Harry behind myself and told him quietly, "Be ready, I will tell you when the time is right. When I do so quickly take the Triwizard cup and portkey back to Hogwarts."

"But, what about you?" he asked back.

" I will be fine, I know how to Apparate. Don't worry, just take the cup and go back to Hogwarts when I tell you." I replied calmly.

By now Voldemort was done speaking. I was ready when he fired his first spell, Cruciatus curse, guess he really wants to torture me first. I quickly took out my wand from the holster and conjured a tile of stone in front of me. When Cruciatus curse hit the tile, it shattered but blocked the curse. I quickly transfigured the stone pieces into Titanium spikes (titanium is much stronger than iron and due to it I can make tips even thinner and sharper, without breaking them, increasing the piercing power) and banished them towards snake-face with an overpowered banishing charm. Voldemort put up a powerful magical shield in front of him, but to his surprise, titanium spikes almost broke through the shield and one of them even pushed through and stabbed him in the upper thigh. Guess he was expecting spikes to be of iron.

After getting injured, he forgot all logic due to anger and fired various spells rapidly. I was ready, I fired and countered spells at a bit higher pace than him ( nowhere close to my firing speed limit) and easily matched him from spell to spell. As time passed he got even madder and increased his firing pace. I did the same and still matched him easily.

Seeing this, he started to add variety in his attacks by mixing transfiguration with charms and his attacks got more fierce. I did the same and quickly the whole area was filled with attacks. Battle with transfiguration was much more devastating than before, when we were only using charms and curses. Seeing our battle, death eaters got further away from us, not wanting to get caught up in the middle. This was the chance for Harry to get away. I told him," Harry, death eaters can't catch you since they are further away, go and take the cup and portkey back to Hogwarts."

Even though he was reluctant he did as I said and portkeyed away.

We battled for minutes (I held back and didn't even use half my strength). Seeing that this is not going anywhere, Voldemort started to use wandless magic to attack me by surprise and catch me off guard. He must have thought that he had the advantage over me since he could use wandless magic, even while fighting me with his wand( very few could use wandless magic, not to mention in the middle of such fierce battle). Little did he know, I was even better than him in using wandless magic. I easily countered his wandless magic with mine ( we were still fighting with our wands during this), since I was much better than him at wandless magic, he quickly got overwhelmed and got hit right in the stomach.

Seeing that he was losing, he angrily said," You will pay for this later when I am back to my full strength."

He must be thinking that I could only match and hit him because he was not at his full strength since he just got a new body. Little did he know, I was also holding back even more than half my strength.

As he said his piece, he Apparated away. Seeing their master fleeing, death eaters also followed his example and Apparated away.

I almost feel sad for them, since Voldemort has a tendency to torture everyone nearby him when he's mad. But, I don't really care if they get tortured with Cruciatus by their master's hand, they were the ones who chose to follow a madman. It's time for them to pay the price, I guess.

Well, nothing left for me to do here now. I destroyed the one mirrors I set beforehand, and Apparated back to Hogsmeade, to go back to Hogwarts since I don't want to destroy anti-apparation wards at Hogwarts.
