Moving on to the next topic, knowledge.

I took full advantage of ROR and milked it for its worth. Aside from all NEWT levels in subjects I previously mentioned, I am now on mastery level for Healing, Transfiguration, Charms, Warding and Defence against Dark Arts (DADA).

Knowledge on dueling and Extensive Auror training manual ( which I acquired from knockturn Alley while hidden under a dark robe and glamour charm) has also helped my battle skills very much. I can now link wand movement of subsequent spells and fire charms and hexes rapidly at my opponent. ROR also helped me by providing animated statue targets to improve my battle efficiency. With my newfound magical strength due to crystal core and battle efficiency, I reckon I can easily fight experienced Aurors like Mad-eye Moody.

Though I am not good enough to battle Dumbledore and Voldemort to a standstill, I should be able to hold them off briefly and run away.

Still, I have yet to find any unique advantages over them in my years of research in ROR.

Speaking of unique advantages, while I couldn't transform in my 2nd animagus form due to my previous lack of magical strength, I should now have enough magical strength to do so now. But I need to find a personal and isolated place to attempt it.

Good thing is that since I will be going to take up the headship of Canis house tomorrow and there are bound to be some properties that fit the requirements.

Next day, I left the orphanage bright and early and Apparated to Diagon Ally. I made my way towards the Gringotts and soon enough saw the white marble building with two goblins standing on each side of gate wielding spears. I went inside and stood in a line for a teller. Soon it was my turn. I remembered that goblins don't like to waste time so I went straight to the point.

" Hello, I would like to claim Canis family headship, please." I told the teller politely.

" Shortclaw will take you to the Manager of Inheritance." He told stiffly and gestured a nearby goblin to take me to my destination.

"Follow me." Said the goblin which I presume is Shortclaw.

I followed him silently through the twists and turns and finally, we were standing in front of a door. He gestured me to go inside and I complied. I saw an elder goblin sitting behind a table as I came inside.

"Hello, I am Aiden Canis. I would like to claim the headship of house Canis." I said politely.

"Before we move forward, I would like to inform you that if you are an imposter or ineligible candidate, your life will be forfeited." He informed. I nodded and he proceeded to put a bowl stained with dry blood in front of me while handing me a knife.

" Pour some blood in the bowl." He said and I complied while nicking my finger with the knife and poured some blood in the bowl. I gave back the knife and healed my finger wandlessly (master Healer over here Y'all).

Seeing this goblin raised an eyebrow but kept silent and took out a quill. He dipped the quill in my blood and wrote something on a parchment. He chanted something in what I assume was gobbledygook language and proceeded to do some test. Satisfied with the results he told me.

" Your claim is valid. Please wait here while I call Canis family manager."

I nodded in affirmative. And he pulled a chain and said something in gobbledygook.

While waiting, I destroyed my blood in the bowl wandlessly ( Blood can be used in a number of ways to easily harm someone and I don't trust anyone enough to let them have my blood sample). He looked like he wanted to say something but held it in.

Soon another goblin came in and said, " I am sharpfang, Canis family manager, follow me, Mr. Canis." And walked away. I followed and soon we were sitting in another room which I assumed was his office.

He took out a short but expensive looking wooden box opened it and gave it to me.

"This is Canis family lordship ring, Mr. Canis, put it on" he informed.

I saw a beautiful ring with a picture of a wolf on it with "audere est facere" (to dare is to do ) written underneath the picture.

I put the ring on and it flashed with light but soon enough the light died out.

" No need to worry, It was just checking if you are worthy of Canis house lordship. Now, Since that is settled, let's move into your properties, Lord Canis." He hurried.

He showed me different books and ledgers. In brief, I now own Canis family Manor, few small houses scattered all over England and a summer house in France. Aside from that I also own shares in a few Diagon Ally businesses. Pretty standard stuff. I then shifted my attention to my family vault.

It contained around 2.3 million Gallons in hard money. There were also many artifacts and jewelry. What caught my attention were books, Canis family grimoire to be exact. Canis, being a family of over 1000 years of history is bound to have many unique and special family magic. This could contain my unique advantage I have been searching for.

I contained my excitement and moved onto business.

"Sharpfang, I would like you to acquire shares in a few businesses" I told him while listing some of the businesses, one of notable being Firebolt broom company. Which I know is going to be famous. Unfortunately, goblins didn't the investment in Muggle companies or I would have made a fortune from them using my future knowledge. Seems like I need to find a Muggle investor for that later.

"I would like to Access my family vault now." I informed Sharpfang.

Sometime later I existed the Gringotts bank after taking a few items from my vault including family grimoire.

I put on some glamour charms and made my way towards knockturn Alley to buy a house elf.

House-elf were very useful creatures who liked to do housework and would leech on a wizard's magic to survive.

They are also useful in many other things like buying something from diagon ally, sending urgent letters to someone and many of other things.

I have always wanted to buy one but due to lack of house, I couldn't buy them. Since now I have a manor and other properties, it will be very helpful to have one.

I bought a house elf named 'Ricky' from a dingy looking shop in knockturn Alley and sent him off to my new Manor while I went back to the orphanage to pick up my stuff.
