1 Sometimes

Sometimes,

Death is but a small step,

Sometimes,

Not waking up could be for the best,

Sometimes,

Death is a fresh start.

I don't know what my death will bring to this world or anyone who might have cared about me. Before my passing, I was not a great man, not a scientist, nor an engineer, and didn't know economics or business. I was just a high school dropout who had a good amount of knowledge about books and video games. I'm not a son of destiny, nor do I want to be one. I just wanted to pursue the excitement I found in the worlds of my books.

But life had a different plan for me, It all started with the death of my parents when I was 15. Not long after their death my older brother Ezekiel sold the house my parents left behind he had told me we where going to move somewhere more affordable, But I should have known better I was naive to think the brother that was never around would care about me as when I had woke up the next day I found out he was gone, It was not until later in life I found out he had something to do with the death of our parents...

Now you may be wondering why I'm even talking about this, Well you see I'm dying I said to the young man beside me.

Young man: wha*

Shhhh let me finish what I was saying I told him, Well I started coughing up blood.

Any ways my point is don't waste your life young man and live it to the fullest as you never know whats going to happen next, Don't be like me I tell him well leaning back.

It was at this point the young man noticed the pool of blood under me and started to panic before yelling for someone to call an ambulance, I just smiled at him as I said, I may not have lived a good life but it was my life, Remember kid death is not the end but the start of the next great adventure I said well having taken my last breath as I closed my eyes with a smile on my face.

Somewhere in the vast endless void a being of light could be seen talking to it's self. *mumble*mumble mumble*

You notice something in its hand but by then the being of light looks up at you after noticing you've been spying on it but the next thing you know everything goes dark before you hear an ethereal voice saying good luck on your next adventure.
