1 The Nightmare

* the Philippines 🇵🇭 , 2013, 3rd Person POV *

In a clear and sunny day, we could see a young man attentively listening to his college professor teaching macroeconomics.

This young man's name is Duke Emyr, a 22-year-old economics student. He is considered as one of the most active and popular students in their school due to his handsome face and chiseled swimmers body and the teachers love him and see him as a model student.

But what people don't see is behind that perfect mask of an honor student lies a closet otaku and a huge pervert, a proud pervert at that.

Duke was writing about his analysis on the importance of the patent and copyright law when the speakers turned on and they had to stop their class and listen

[Attention students and staff of EVSU, the school would like to announce that we would not be having classes and work for the next three days starting tomorrow as per the recent official announcement from the city mayor's office this month of November.] The students then cheered loudly for the announcement like any normal student would but not Duke. He just frowned in his seat when he heard the announcement.

Now people might think that his displeased because he couldn't study when it's nearing their defense for their research paper but no, his not. He's just mad that he won't have an allowance for three day's and he won't be able to see his sexy teacher on calculus.

So he took out his frustration on his classmates hushing them saying that the announcement wasn't over yet.

[The three day's break is given due to the super typhoon Yolanda. The school advises the students and staff to prepare and use your time wisely. Furthermore, classes would be suspended today so that the boarding students would have time to go home. That is all, have a pleasant morning.]

As the power from the speakers dies the noise from the cheering students rise. Some students stand up and went to their friends' seat to chat but the teacher called for their attention.

" OK class, settle down," the teacher asked them and so the chatting died down to a soft murmur as the whole class listened to her.

"As you've heard from the PA, classes are suspended-" "yaayyy!!" The class cheered and cut off their teacher from speaking so she cough and got their attention back.

"As I was saying, classes are suspended so I would like you to copy your homework from the board. I want it to be written on a yellow paper. Now any questions? None?" She looked around the class and seeing no one raised their hand she continued

"No more questions or any violent reaction? Good! Then I'll see you all after the break" she nodded in satisfaction and gathered her books and class records.

Some playful students waved at her and bid her farewell " Bye ma'am!" and some gay students cried out "again!! Ma'am, bye~rs" 😘

*Duke's POV*

Some of my classmates gathered around me to chat and make fun of the weather forecast. So I just packed my bag and listen to them while giving my opinion once in a while.

"Who are they kidding, I mean come on! What super typhoon? It's not even raining here" I heard one of my classmates says

I thought about it carefully and gave my cent into the topic " Well, I watched the CNN and they showed satellite projection in the Pacific ocean on how big this typhoon is"

And one of the girls raised her eyebrows and asked me in confusion "wait, isn't that typhoon Haiyan or something?"

I just rolled my I and told her in a matter of fact voice "There the same, it's just the international name for it" I got up and bid them farewell while looking at her one last time.

'If only you weren't so stupid I would have confessed to you long ago, but sadly to say I might like you but my tuition fee weighs a lot more' so I sighed and went to my boarding house.

On the way, I was admiring the water as I ride the jeepney. When I arrived at the village gate I saw some police assisting some old people in evacuating their house. The officer saw me and came near me.

"Young man, do you live here?" The police officer asked

"Well, yes sir. I board here, why?" I asked him concern 'maybe there's been an accident?' I thought nervously to myself.

"The city mayor wants to evacuate all residents from coastal areas like this to avoid casualties. We would appreciate it if you and your board mate pack your things and evacuate to the school" the officer informed me in concern clearly worried for our well being.

So to an apeas his mind, I told him a little white lie "Don't worry officer, we were let out of school earlier precisely because of this. I was just about to pack my things" what he don't know winter hurt him right?

"Oh, that's a relief! The people here are resisting our help. They rather stay at home than come to the evacuation site. I even saw some people drinking beer in the daylight!" He told me while shaking his head side to side seemingly disbelieving on what he saw.

'But seriously I kind of see what the people in my neighborhood was thinking about. The suns blazing hot for a supposed super typhoon and beside it's just a storm surge, whatever that is.'

I just smiled at him and continued my way back to the boarding house. I stayed in my room and watched ecchi anime and some hentai for the whole day.

I woke up around 6 in the morning and the rain was heavily pouring so I cooked chicken noodles and was about to eat when suddenly the lights went off.

I came out of my room and saw that my neighbors also had the same idea. So we went downstairs to ask the caretaker if she has any lamps we could use.

When we came down we heard a younger tenant being all hysterical and complaining why the lights went off.

So I explained to him why since his new and all "Lloyd, the electric company automatically shuts the power off the whole city during strong storms like this to avoid accidentally electrocuting people if a power line gets cut from flying debris"

The caretaker and the other older tenants agreed with me and nodded in my direction as a sign of approval which I returned with a smile.

When we were just about to go find some lamp the glass windows broke and the shards flew off everywhere. Some of us have cute all over our body.

"Guys, stay away from the windows, something might accidentally fly inside! " I had to yell because of the noise the rain is making

Then not long, we heard a big boom go off so we rushed to the second floor just to see that the house next door was missing their whole second floor, walls and all.

Then out of fear we backed away from the windows and went downstairs afraid that a flying roof or walls might hit the second floor and hurt us.

But before we could feel the comfort of safety we heard people running outside the boarding house screaming "It's chasing us! It's chasing us!! Run!! Save yourselves!!"

we were perplexed so we looked outside which was hard due to the zero visibility. But then instead of seeing something horrible, we felt something dreadful. In our feet, we could feel the water rising rapidly.

Then the realization finally clicked, the sea waters rising and were on a coastal area. We panicked and hurriedly went upstairs to avoid the water. But to our utmost dismay, it kept on rising in a rapid phase.

Then I noticed something horrible "Guys! GUYS!! listen up!! Were trapped in here and the waters still rising!!"

The caretaker told us that there was an emergency exit at the side so we went there but an even more frightening sight greeted us.

The people earlier wasn't only running away from the rising sea water but what scared them shitless was the cargo ship destroying buildings that's in it's a way.

For the first time in my life, I felt completely helpless because I know, it's the last thing I'll see.

Goodbye world I'll miss you dearly, my only regret is not being able to watch as many hentai movies as I wanted

I closed my eyes, waiting for death either from drowning from the pitch black water with unknown debris floating in it or by being run over by a cargo ship. So I waited and waited but no pain seems to come

So I opened my eyes and I was in a hallway seating on a chair and before I could even voice my surprise a door suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Then I heard a voice called for me to come in. Confused and scared, I hesitated before I opened the door.

What was behind the door left me more questions than answers.....have a
