"You mean the Lost Diadem of Ravenclaw?" Lily asked surprised, "That Diadem has been missing for centuries!"

"Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure." I intoned, "Yeah it looked just like the Diadem from Ravenclaw's portraits and it had the same malicious feel attached to it." I twirled my wand as the locket kept on rotating, "I was stunned too because I couldn't sense wards and other magic back then but the dark magic in the Diadem was soo strong that I could sense it easily which saved me because it had a compulsion charm attached to it... Just like this one has one to wear it around your neck, if you guys weren't soo vary about it it would have been able to influence you too..." I sighed remembering that almost all the Horcruxes had some curse attached to it, thank god this one was stored in a potion and didn't have a nasty cure like the ring.

I sipped some more brandy from my glass as I was starting to feel a little warm.

'hmm, this is good...'

I gulped the rest of it down and sat up to get more before Lily glared at me, "Sit back down-" I gave her a helpless look but Marlene interrupted us, "How do we destroy it? whose soul is even in it?" she asked her mind going through possible options, each graver than the one before apparently as her expression kept on getting distorted.

"That you can't tell, and I would advise against destroying it-" I held both of my hands up in a placating gesture before I was shot down as even Sirius looked mad.

"Calm down, first I know this is a pretty far reach but I can guess whose Horcrux this is-" I said getting their attention, "-and I know you would want to destroy it instantly but I need you guys to calm down and listen to me okay?" I said calmly laying down my points.

"Fine, say what you want to say, but I'm guessing I won't like this one bit-" Lily had a bitter look on her face.

"Yeah you won't, anyway, I'll tell you my reasoning first, when I found the Diadem and learned about the Horcrux, I didn't know whose Horcrux could it possibly be. I searched through the 'Rise and Fall of Dark Arts' trying to pinpoint who could have the knowledge to make one and also the means to hide one in one of the most secret rooms in Hogwarts, I don't know anyone who knows about this room and I don't think you guys do either." Sirius looked affronted at my statement so I asked, "Do you know about a secret room on the seventh floor in the left corridor of the Hogwarts castle it has a hidden entrance opposite the tapestry depicting the attempt of Barnabas the Barmy trying to teach trolls ballet?" I asked and once again got three nods.

"Yeah, I don't know anyone else who knows about it either, so only someone who went to Hogwarts could have placed a Horcrux in there which eliminates quite a lot of possibilities, but not until I saw that the Slytherin's locket was a Diadem I couldn't be sure," I said.

"Yeah, anyone who was from the Slytherin house won't use this legendary historical artifact to create a Horcrux!" Sirius said thoughtfully, he seemed to be mentally eliminating people from his list.

"No actually," I said and he gave me a surprised look "Only someone who was arrogant enough in himself to believe he doesn't need Rowenclaw's wisdom and someone who doesn't need the Slytherin's locket to use Parselmagic because he could use the noble tongue himself would do it," I said watching everyone's face twist into a grimace and Sirius spat, "Voldemort"

"Yes, plus has anyone ever seen the dark mark after his downfall? I don't mean the one that flashed in the skies but the one on his follower's arms." I said as Lily and Sirius nodded.

"It hasn't vanished just faded-" Sirius said his expression hardening as he stared at the locket once again, "-and this thing contains a piece of that fuckers soul. Tell me one good reason before I apparate to some remote corner of the world and burn this down with Fiendfyre-" He stared at me hard.

"Alexandra" I simply said as he stopped, his mind halting trying to figure out what I meant while Marlene asked, "What do you mean?"

"Why or How do you think a very special magical artifact that was turned into a vessel for his soul by a deranged and psychotic dark lord is in your house... how did Alex get the locket? Kreacher had it and it somehow ended up in his possession? but why would Voldemort have some lowly house-elf take care of a piece of his soul? Surely he didn't that means this was stolen, but how would Kreacher steal this, it means someone else did and gave it to Kreacher so that either he could destroy it, or find someone who he thinks is pure in his eyes, that's Alex, to help him destroy it cause his magic isn't powerful enough-" I was about to continue when Sirius said in a low voice, "Reggie-" his voice almost broken as he thought about his long-gone brother.

"And that should be our final clue, Sirius's brother Regulus was under Voldemort's banner and he somehow finds out about the Horcrux, steals it, and dies because of it. As far as I know, Regulus Black's body was never found..." I stopped realizing that I was talking about Regulus like he was a character in a book but to the rest of them he was a real person and family.

"I'm sorry Sirius, but I can't be 100% certain but this is the story that makes the most sense, but it seems like your brother choose the right side in the end-" I patted his shoulder as he mutely nodded as Marlene stood up from her seat and came around the table to hug him.

I sat there awkwardly for a few moments before looking at Lily who was staring at me with conflicted emotions.

'What's wrong with her? Did I say something wrong?'

I replayed my entire explanation again searching for any holes in my story as Sirius quickly got up and walked towards the bar again and quickly refilled his glass.

'I guess he never really grieved his brother's passing and now he's grieving and feeling guilty'

"But what shouldn't we destroy this-" Marlene asked pointing towards the locket.

"Because we don't have enough research about either Horcruxes or pieces of souls to know what would happen, If Voldemort had only created one Horcrux like Herpo the foul then I would happily throw this locket into Fyndfyre and be done with that sociopath but we don't know how many he created, it could be 3 or 7 or god forbid 13. What if there is still some connection between souls so he somehow knows that one of his Horcrux was destroyed, and when he checks he would know which one, and his mind would immediately switch to the Black Family and you guys would be on his no.1 hit list." I explained and stood up pushing my glass towards Sirius who filled it with Firewhiskey.

"That's why I was suggesting we hold up on destroying the locket and the Diadem, maybe we can figure out some relationship between the two and how they react and maybe figure out a way to find out where the rest of the Horcruxes are-" I took a big gulp as the whiskey burned my throat and I sighed feeling the warmth travel throughout my body.

"I'll admit I want to see if I can figure out a way to remove and release the soul without harming the Locket, but the other idea still has merit, plus we can't really destroy it without knowing if there is some feedback that Voldemort might receive."

'I know for a fact that Voldemort never knew about his Horcrux's getting destroyed otherwise he surely would have tried to figure out a way to create more. He was quite paranoid in that regard.'

"So what do we do?" Sirius asked and I gave him a look, "Siri, I'm 18, I don't want the fate of the world in my hands, nor the fate of Alex and you guys. It's your family you decide what you want to do..." I said feeling a little drowsy as I took another gulp of Firewhiskey before Lily came up to me and took the glass away.

"Enough, no one is making any decision today, definitely not when you both are tipsy, Marlene can you handle the manchild, I guess I unknowingly have a 5th of my own-" she sighed and gave me a look as she slipped an arm around me and dragged me towards the guest bedroom.

I slipped under the covers and she put a quilt on me before saying, "And don't think I haven't noticed but you seem more mature all of a sudden and there are things you aren't telling me. Don't let the grown-up talk change you, I know we treat you a little different because you are a little bit of a genius when compared to the rest of us but you're still a kid, I'll visit tomorrow with Rose who is very excited to spend some time with you." She bent down and wiped my hair out my forehead and said, "Good Night Blaise."

"'Night Lily" I mumbled before I slipped into dreamland.

AN: This chapter takes the story past 15k words required to get into rankings so your Power stones would actually help the story from now on. As the counter resets tomorrow, I'll post an extra chapter for every 250 Power stones!

Anyway, Blaise would now explore more magic as he relearns all the spells and also has to convince Sirius and Lily to keep the Horcrux. Plus maybe some lemons soon!!

See ya tomorrow!
