28 A Sudden Homecoming!

The room Harry was in was quite large if a little empty, the bed was well made and everything was clean but it still didn't give a vibe that someone regularly sleeps here, maybe it was the house-elves doing their jobs really well.

The picture that caught Harry's attention was of a small boy around 5 years of age dressed in a muggle school dress, Harry walked closer to the corner wall that had many similar pictures of an emerald-eyed boy mostly when he was dressed in a school uniform, up until he was almost 8 years old.

Harry watched his younger self grow up through the pictures, while he was skipping in the earlier pictures in the later version he was a subdued boy walking back to his prison, the only thing that was familiar about him were his bright emerald eyes that took in everything around him with caution and curiosity.

"You aren't supposed to be here," a familiar voice broke him out of his thoughts as he almost dropped his photo. He looked back at Ivy, her eyes fixed on the photo so Harry slowly placed it back in place.

"I didn't know the Potters had another son?" he asked calmly, surprising the weird connection that bubbled once again.

Ivy looked at Harry for a second thinking about what to answer before she spoke, "Harry James Potter..." Harry looked at her with a questioning look, 'She wasn't even born before I was abandoned, there was no way the Potters should have told her about me... but then these photos too...' Harry was already scrying through his memories trying to figure out if he saw Lily after his 5th year because he couldn't.

Ivy shook her head before looking carefully at Harry, her eyes scanned his figure again and she concentrated on the strange connection that she seemed to have with this complete stranger, deciding to trust it she took a few steps towards him and the connection seemed to be getting stronger, Harry could also feel the connection getting stronger and he was about to back off when the girl threw herself at him.

'Whoa,' was all Harry could think about before a small electric shock went through the two teens, His mana started acting up as Harry helped stabilize his sister before backing away, his face blank but thankfully the weird connection he was feeling was gone. He was about to make some excuses to dip when a new prompt appeared in front of him.

"Harry?" Ivy questioned that froze Harry in his steps, there was no way she should be able to figure it out just based on the weird connection that was now gone.

"I'm sorry my name is Hector," he politely replied and moved to go out of the room when she held his dress robes, "your eyes, they are like me and mama..." Ivy said as tears were starting to buildup in her eyes, Harry's eyes widened, and before he could say anything she launched once again but this time hugging him tightly, his mana started acting up again as He looked towards the display glass and noticed that his eyes had changed back into his original eye color and shape.

'Shit, why the fuck did the system even stop working at this crucial moment, now what do I do, I could use the memory charm but...' Harry focused on changing his eyes back to dark black and his eye color slowly changed.

Meanwhile, Ivy was sobbing silently on his chest, "...didn't you come home, you are a meanie, I even go to the village to talk to you every month and you couldn't even come to visit me..." after that Harry couldn't hear what she was talking about, as before she could continue Harry could feel his magic go haywire, Harry had almost full control of his mana but at this moment he could feel that he lost control of it. It started bustling from his skin and blisters started appearing on his skin. The last thing Harry saw before he fainted was another alert message.

Ivy panicked when she suddenly felt Harry's huge weight fall down on her, she slipped away from the weight and felt Harry collapse on the rug, she watched in fascination as his whole body seemed to morph, he gained a couple of inches, his lithe physique changed to lean and muscular, but what attracted her attention more than anything else was his face, his originally sharp jawline turned a little bit angular, his face thinned out and his high cheekbones were now easily recognizable. The familiar mop of untidy raven hair appeared on his head.

But before she could admire her brother, ugly blisters broke out all over his body, except his face, she could see the blisters covering his hands and neck. Ivy panicked and twisted the ring that Dad had given her for her 5th birthday before she tried to move her brother towards the bed.

Lily and James Potter arrived at this scene with panicked expressions on their faces. It took a moment for them to take in everything, from Ivy's panicked expression to Charlus lying down flat on the rug as Ivy tried to pull him onto the bed.

"Ivy what happened to Charlus," James rushed to help her but Lily stood rooted on the spot, her eyes fixed on the familiar looking blisters on Harry's hands and neck, she seemed to be transported back in time, to exactly 10 years ago when a similar scene happened back then.

"Lily call Dumbledore, and I'm closing the wards, no one is leaving until I know who did this," James's expression was furious he was pulling out his wand to close down the wards when Lily's sobbing voice stopped him, "James that's not Charlus," he froze as Lily approached them, tears streaming down her face as she cupped Harry's face before she lifted Harry's eyelid, a familiar green stared back at them.

AN: I know it was a little sudden but most of you should have figured it out that was my intention from the beginning when I let him get invited to the Halloween Gala, anyway, there is a long way to go before they could even remotely begin acting like family, the connection between Ivy and Harry broke because of the system so there is no magical influence on Harry to be close to his family.
