"Yes it was, after all, I was present there the day SHIELD was founded..." Harry stared at Dumbledore for a moment, his blank face giving nothing away, he would revisit this conversation with the old man later, but him being there made some sense, If he was there when SHIELD was founded then it must be because his fight with Grindelwald represented the magical side of World war 2, while SHIELD and HYDRA were fighting on the muggle side.

"So you were present, but are not a founder?" Harry asked, he was curious, maybe his multiple duties were interfering with him taking up that role too.

"Yes, the ICW signed a treaty of non-interference with the muggle governments long ago, Wizards aren't exactly hidden from the world, almost higher-ups in all governments know about our existence, we just prefer to be a little segregated for religious purposes and to avoid discrimination, anyway it was the reason at the start some centuries ago, now though wizards are comfortable being away from the muggle world. Anyway, as a member of the ICW council back during the war and now as the Supreme Mugwump, I can't be a part of SHIELD, a muggle organization, although they consult me from time to..." Whatever he was about to say next was covered by Fury's forced throat clearing, his intentions quite clear.

"Never mind that, "Fury intervened, "Now where can we find Bucky?" Fury asked, Harry, noticed the humanized way in which he referred to the Winter Soldier, but he let it slide.

"I don't know, I was supposed to be a brainwashed little tool too, all the information that I told you I heard because your student like to gloat a little too much, seriously you should have taught him better..." Harry let it 'slip' along with his own verbal jab at Fury.

Fury had a stunned expression on his face, which quickly changed into disbelief, while he shook his head, Harry calmly watched his reaction, 'So Fury never suspected Garrett, maybe the man had better acting skills and restraint than I thought.'

"No, Phil would never," he stared at Harry and then added, "and neither would John, what are you talking about?" Fury questioned, his voice restrained, his mind jumping to various scenarios.

"Interesting that you defended Phil Coulson almost immediately, but added John Garrett almost as an afterthought, so do you subconsciously trust Phil more, or was that a mistake?" Harry asked.

"Stop psychoanalyzing me and answer me goddammit-" Fury stood up, his face now blank, but Harry could see the anger that he was masking.

"He accuses you a lot you know, that you always preferred straight and narrow Phil over him, and that if you hadn't left him to die after he almost blew himself up in Sarajevo during a SHIELD mission," Harry paused and then asked with a raised eyebrow, "Did you never really investigate how he managed to survive an explosion from an IED, he has literal metal tubes and pipes going through his chest, I mean, surely you know something like that isn't SHIELD technology?"

Fury sat down and closed his eyes, he was looking back on Garrett's actions over the last few years, the only suspicious thing was his whereabouts during his break times, whenever he was not on a SHIELD mission he was always undercover. There were many ways he could hide his identity as a double agent, being a protege of his does grant him several special privileges after all.

"He defected after Sarajevo?" Fury asked and Harry shrugged, he didn't know nor wanted to know the history of the man, but he was kind of a chatterbox, during missions and even early during training when he could boss Harry around, he used to constantly blabber about his missions and accomplishments, seriously the only reason Harry knew so much about HYDRA was because of him.

"How many more?" Fury asked, a seed of doubt sprouting in his mind regarding every SHIELD agent that he knew, their history and their mission records started appearing in his mind.

"I don't exactly know, I never had to interact with many agents, mainly Garrett and Whitehall, oh and Robert but I killed him, so...anyway I was trained to be a specialist, you know how it is, I never needed a team so I never had a reason to interact with anyone, being a brainwashed tool and all, I had to go in when the mission arrived and get the job done, between the bullets and magic, there really was no one who could actually pose a challenge to me, unless you have Caption America stored in Cryo somewhere, or maybe if the wizards intervened." Harry stated as he stood up to leave, "Now I know you have questions, and I know you would figure it out on your own, just keep my description out of your systems, I don't want HYDRA trying to invade magical Britain..."

Harry nodded to Dumbledore, "We'll talk later," he said before he left, Dumbledore and Fury sat in silence for a bit before Fury broke the silence, "He is different than I imagined..."

"Really, how so?" Dumbledore asked, he was curious about the kid too, now that he knew that Tom hasn't possessed him by a ritual, he was a little more open to the idea of the good in the older potter twin.

"He isn't a cold-hearted killer like the reports suggested, don't get me wrong, he has excellent control of his emotions and he gave nothing away, but he doesn't want HYDRA involved in the magical world, maybe he cares about his family, or maybe he has come to like this place, maybe some peace and quiet could heal him too..." Fury spoke, although his mind was somewhere else, so was Dumbledore's.

"So SHIELD got invaded by HYDRA... Howard and Peggy would be disappointed in us..." Dumbledore sighed, his thoughts went back to his old friends, Peggy was already declining, and was now a permanent member of an Old Age home. Howard on the other hand was killed by the very organization that they thought they had bested.

"What about Tony?" Dumbledore asked.

"He will inherit the company that his father created, the kid's got a brilliant mind, but what Harry said also makes a little more sense now, HYDRA, if it exists, had to have some other motive than revenge to killing Howard Stark, I have to increase the security detail on Tony, make sure HYDRA didn't get to anyone close to him, or maybe even god forbid him..." As both of them digested that thought Fury asked, "I might need to borrow the kid," at Dumbledore's questioning look he elaborated, "Come on you don't really think he's fit to play house in a school full of children do you, he is more suited for the muggle world anyway, he has lived there his whole life, once he figures that out and has learned whatever he wants from here, he will be back. Keep an eye on him till then," Fury said as he stood up.

As Dumbledore watched Fury disappear through the floo, he thought back to what Fury had said, 'He would be done digesting all knowledge by the end of his 2nd year at this rate, if he doesn't get any closer to his family by then, maybe it won't be such a bad idea for him to travel the world in a familiar environment...'

Fawkes low-trill broke his thoughts as Dumbledore ruffled his feathers, "I know old friend I know..."

So I'll explain a bit about SHIELD and HYDRA soon too, and also give a hint as to why Howard and Maria were assassinated... anyone care to guess?
