11 End of the Year

It was Professor Quirrell standing in front of the mirror we saw our parents in which had my eyes watering a little. "You!" Quirrell smiled at us while I just glared down at him wanting to seriously hurt this guy for all he's done. "Me, I wondered whether I'd be meeting you here, Potters." I grabbed Harry's hand hating to even have to look at Quirrell for what he was doing to everyone. "But I thought - Snape -" I sighed looking at Harry knowing he only thought of Snape because he was the only teacher to be mean to him. "Severus? Yes, Severus does seem to the type, doesn't he? So useful to have him swiping around like an overgrown bat. Next to him, who would suspect p-p-poor, st-stuttering P-Professor Quirrell." I glared at him before smiling which had Harry sighing while laughing which made Quirrell confused. "I didnt suspect him, I knew he wasn't the person behind everything!" Harry nodded which only seemed to upset Quirrell but Harry remembered about the Quidditch game where he thought Snape tried to kill him and voiced it. "No, no, no. I tried to kill you. Your friend Miss Granger accidentally knocked me over as she rushed to set fire to Snape at that Quidditch match. She broke my eye contact with you. Another few seconds and I'd have got you off that broom. I'd have managed it before then if Snape hadn't been muttering a countercurse, trying to save you." I placed my hands on my hips glaring at both boys but furious with Quirrell since he tried to hurt my brother. "You won't be able to hurt Harry so long as I'm around no matter who you are!" Harry smiled at me knowing I wouldnt let anything happen to those I loved no matter what even if it meant my death and Harry was shocked that Snape tried to save him. "Of course, why do you think he wanted to referee your next match? He was trying to make sure I didn't do it again. Funny, really... he needn't have bothered. I couldn't do anything with Dumbledore watching. All the other teachers thought Snape was trying to stop Gryffindor from winning, he did make himself unpopular... and what a waste of time, when after all that, I'm going to kill you both tonight." Quirrell snapped his fingers, ropes sprang out of thin air and wrapped themselves tightly around us which had me struggling with them. "Your too nosy to live, Potters. Scurrying around the school on Halloween like that, for all I knew you'd seen me coming to look at what was guarding the Stone." That made me remember the troll that had been let in which came into the girls bathroom that Halloween night.

"Certainly. I have a special gift with trolls - you must have seen what I did back there? Unfortunately, while everyone else was running around looking for it, Snape who had already suspected me, went straight to the third floor to bead me off - and not only did my troll fail to beat you to death, that three-headed dog didnt even manage to bite Snapes leg off properly. Now, wait quietly Potters. I need to examine this interesting mirror." I smiled looking at it remembering what Dumbledore had said about the Morror of Erised that it showed you only what your heart desired but that's it. "The mirror is the key to finding the Stone trust Dumbledore to come up with something like this... but hes in London... I'll be far away by the time he gets back..." I knew we had to keep Quirrell talking to stop him from concentrating on the mirror in case he found out how to use it. So Harry brought up the him and Snape at the forest which I think was a set up, that he did on purpose. "Yes, he was on to me by that time, trying to find out how far I'd got. He suspected me all along. Tried to frighten me - as though he could, when I had lord Voldemort on my side... I see the Stone... I'm presenting it to my master... but where is it?"

We kept struggling against the ropes and I tried to use the flames from before to get them to burn off but it wasnt really working. "But Snape always seemed to hate me so much." Quirrell seemed happy about that since not a lot of people hate us because we destroyed Voldemort. "Oh, he does, heaven's yes... at least you boy, he likes your sister. He was at Hogwarts with your father, didn't you know? They loathed each other. But he never wanted you dead." I flinched when he said that knowing he wanted us dead as well as probably trying a few times since we always prevailed. "But I heard you a few days ago, sobbing - I thought Snape was threatening you." Quirrell actually showed fear which made me realize that he was terrified of what was threatening him. "Sometimes I find it hard to follow masters instructions - he is a great wizard and I am weak -" Harry kept questioning him but I knew we would have to get out of these ropes to keep ourselves alive. Then Quirrell started talking about how to get the Stone out again wondering if it was stuck in the mirror. I knew Harry and I were thinking the same thing mostly because of my telepathic abilities which comes in handy.

What we want more than anything else in this world at the moment, is to find the Stone before Quirrell does. So if we look in the mirror, we should see ourselves finding it - which means we'll see where its hidden! But how can I look without Quirrell realizing what we're up to? I could see Harry trying to align himself with the mirror without Quirrell noticing but the ropes were to tight around his ankles. He wound up tripping and falling over but Quirrell didn't seem to notice since he was still talking to himself which was a good thing. "What does this mirror do? How does it work? Help me, master!" I froze thinking something bad was about to happen but then a voice came from no-where to answer him. "Use the boy... use the girl..." It was then that Quirrell rounded on us before he pulled me from the fire before letting the ropes fall which allowed Harry to get to his feet. "Come here, look into the mirror and tell me what you see." We carefully walked over to the mirror knowing we had to lie about what we saw in the mirror. Quirrell stayed behind us the entire time and his turban smelled funny, we closed our eyes before turning back to the mirror. We saw that we were pale and frightened but a second later we were smiling at each other like what was happening wasn't. Then Harry's reflection put his hand in his pocket and pulled out a blood-red stone. It winked and put the Stone in its pocket - and as it did so, Harry felt something heavy drop into his real pocket.

I could see my reflection just smiling at him while he didn't this which made me happy about all of this. We both knew right then that Harry had gotten the Stone which surprised us but we were glad because that meant we could protect it. "Well what do you see?" We both gathered up our courage so we could lie about what we had really saw in the mirror so Quirrell wouldn't know what we really saw. "I see myself shaking hands with Dumbledore, I- I've won the house cup for Gryffindor." Quirrell didn't like that one bit but I didn't really care all I wanted to do right now was punch him before he yelled at me to tell him what I had seen. "I see myself standing by Harry, Dumbledore's giving me an award for being the best flyer out of the first years." Quirrell didn't like our answers to much but I couldn't really blame him I mean we were basically coming up with lies off the top of our heads. "Get out of the way." As he said that Harry moved away with me hiding the fact that Harry had the Stone in his pocket. He hadn't walked five paces with me before a high voice spoke through Quirrell wasn't moving his lips.

"They lie... they lie..." I groaned inwardly knowing we had been busted so I whipped out my wand to defend us with but kept it out of sight. "Potter's, come back here! Tell me the truth! What did you just see?" I just glared at him not wanting to go anywhere near him nor did I want Harry near him again the guy gave me the creeps. "Let me speak to them... face-to-face..." That voice sent chills down through my body as I remembered where I had heard that voice before. "Master, you are not strong enough!" I didn't want to stay anywhere near here and we started backing up with Harry but I knew we couldn't go far. "I have strength enough... for this..." I could tell Harry felt the same way I did that we couldn't move as Quirrell removed his turban wondering why he was removing it. On the back of Quirrell's head was a face, the most terrible face we had ever seen it was chalky white with glaring red eyes and slits for nostrils. "Harry and Serena Potter..." We both tried to step back but we were frozen in place and couldn't move I knew we had to do something. "See what I have become? Mere shadow and vapor... I have form only when I can share another's body... but there have always been those willing to let me into there hearts and minds... unicorn blood has strengthened me, these past weeks... you saw faithful Quirrell drinking it for me in the forest... and once I have the Elixir of Life, I will be able to create a body of my own... now... why don't you give me that Stone in your pocket?"

We still tried to walk away but we stumbled a bit but I still glared at him wanting nothing more than to destroy him. "Don't be a fool, better save your own lives and join me... or you'll meet the same end as your parents... they died begging for mercy." It felt like something snapped in me which had me pulling up my wand glaring at him. "That's a lie! Our parents died with honor! They died protecting us! You destroyed our family!!" I said with a few tears slipping from my eyes remembering that night which is something I will never forget. "How touching... I always value bravery... yes, you two, your parents were brave... I killed your father first, and he put up a courageous fight... but your mother needn't have died... she was trying to protect you both... now give me the Stone, unless you want her to have died in vain." I glared at him knowing Harry and I had the same thoughts which is something or always did. "NEVER!" Harry ran to the flame door with me shortly behind him pulling out his wand ready to defend ourselves. "SEIZE THEM!" Then then next second I could feel Quirrell really close to us then all of a sudden a needle sharp pain went through my hand. Then when the pain lessened I looked back to see Quirrell had gone, but he was hunched over in pain looking at his fingers, they were blistering before his eyes. "Seize them! SEIZE THEM!!" Voldemort shrieked at him again but that gave me an idea do I looked at Harry who had seen the same thing. Then Quirrell lunged knocking us both off our feet, landing ontop of Harry so I pulled out my wand when Quirrell started choking Harry.

"Get off my brother!! Alarte Ascendare!" Quirrell flew back almost as if in pain but I knew it wasn't from my spell since it just knocks them away. "Master I cannot hold him... my hands... my hands!!!" I looked at Harry confused but he just shrugged not knowing either but then I remembered that our mothers love protects us against him. "Then kill him, fool, and be done!!" I looked at Harry and nodded which he understood since we immediately ran to him before putting our hands on Quirrells face. "AAAARGH!!" Quirrell ran from us with the same stuff happening as before since he started blistering which made us understand. Quirrell couldn't touch our bare skin so we decided to use that to put a stop to him which. Harry immediately put into action as he ran at Quirrell to grab his arm tightly so he wouldn't be throw off. I could tell Harry was in pain so I tried thinking of a plan to help with that but I couldnt think of anything. Voldemort kept yelling at Quirrell to kill us but I just ignored him before attaching myself to Quirrell. The pain in my hand intensified but I refused to scream and I could feel Quirrells body slowly breaking away. It wasn't long after that when I blacked out feeling someone catch me, I tried to see who but I couldn't open my eyes. It wasn't long after when I felt something calling me so I opened my eyes, everything was still a little blurry. When my vision finally settled down I was surprised to see not only Dumbledore but Professor Snape which had me smiling at both of them.

"Ah, good morning Selena." I nodded trying to sit up only for pain to go through my hand causing me to wince and pull it to me in pain. It was a few moments later that Harry woke up which had me happy before he remembered about the Stone. He started freaking over it but Dumbledore managed to calm him down enough to let him explain about it. However he distracted himself yet again when he mentioned the trinkets we had gotten while asleep, which was a lot. "What happened down in the dungeons between you two and Professor Quirrell is a complete secret, so, naturally, the whole school knows. I believe your friends Misters Fred and George Weasley were responsible for trying to send you a toilet seat no doubt they thought it would amuse you, Madam Pomfrey, however, felt it might not be very hygienic, and confiscated it." I had to laugh at that since they had said something like that on our way to Hogwarts on the train. "Mr. Ronald Weasley and Miss Hermione Granger will be most relieved you both have come around, they have been extremely worried." I was relieved about that as well as glad that nothing else happened to them while we were fighting Quirrell, however Harry wouldn't let go about the Stone. "I see you are not to be distracted. Very well, the Stone, Professor Quirrell did not manage to take it from you. I arrived in time to prevent that, although you both were doing very well on your own, I just say. " I blushed at that, it isn't everyday you get praised by your own headmaster but Harry asked about Hermione's letter. "We must have crossed in midair. No sooner had I reached London than it became clear to me that the place I should be was the one I had just left. I arrived just in time to pull Quirrell off both of you -" I sighed glad to know that he had arrived then I don't know how much more I could have done, however when he said we could have died I froze.

"Not the Stone my boy, you two - the effort involved nearly killed you both. For one terrible moment there, I was afraid it had. As for the Stone, it has been destroyed." That took me for a minute, if the Stone was gone then wouldn't that mean Nicolas Flamel would die?? "Destroyed? But your friend - Nicolas Flamel -" I looked at Dumbledore worried since he would be losing a good friend all because of this. "Oh, you know about Nicolas? You did do the thing properly, didn't you? Well, Nicolas and I have had a little chat, and agreed it's for the best." I looked at him sad since it meant that his friend and his wife would die which wasn't a fun thing since you're basically losing two friends. Dumbledore seemed happy that we cared about the people who had been brought into this whole mess just because someone wanted power. "They have enough Elixir stored to set their affairs in order and then, yes, they will die. To one as young as you two, I'm sure it seems incredible, but to Nicolas and Perenelle, it really is like going to bed after a very, very long day. After all, to the well-organized mind, death is but the next adventure. You know, the Stone was really not suck a wonderful thing.. much money and life as you could want! The two things most human beings would chose above all - the trouble is, humans do have a knack of choosing precisely those things that are worst for them." We sat there thinking about what we had just heard but I knew something was still bugging Harry. "Sir? I've been thinking... Sir - even if the Stone's gone, Vol -, I mean You-know-who -" Dumbledore didn't seem bothered by this which had me remembering that he had been the only thing Voldemort truly feared.

"Call him Voldemort, Harry. Always use the proper name for things. Fear of a name increases fear of the thing itself." I nodded knowing to remember this mostly so I could use it against our next opponent. Harry asked if there was a way for Voldemort to come back even without the Stone and if he was truly gone. "No, Harry, Serena, he has not. He is still out there somewhere, perhaps looking so another body to share... not being truly alive, he cannot be killed. He left Quirrell to die; he shows just as little mercy to his followers as his enemies. Nevertheless, Harry, Serena, while you may only have delayed his return it to power, it will merely take someone else who is prepared to fight what seems to be a losing battle next time - and if he is delayed again and again, why, he may never return to power." We nodded but I could tell that it was only making Harry's head hurt which had me wondering what he had done all year. "Sir, there are some other things I'd like to know, if you can tell me... things I want to know the truth about." I could tell that the wheels in Dumbledore's head were turning which had me wondering what else Dumbledore wanted us to go through. "The truth, it is a beautiful and terrible thing, and should therefore be treated with great caution. However, I shall answer your questions unless I have a very good reason not to, in which case case I beg you'll forgive me. I shall not, of course, lie."

I went through what he said in my head already knowing that it meant he wouldn't answer our questions fully. "Well...Voldemort said that he only killed our mother because she tried to stop him from killing us. But why would he want to kill us in the first place." Dumbledore sighed deeply so I knew this wasn't something he would tell us and I was right since his look changed. "As, the first thing you ask me, cannot tell you. Not today. Not now. You will know, one day... put it from your mind for now, Harry, Serena. When you are older... I know you hate to hear this...when you are ready, you will know." Then he asked why Quirrell couldn't touch us which Dumbledore responded that it was because of our mother's love. It left a mark, an invisible mark, on us that only a mothers love could do, so someone like Quirrell or Voldemort couldn't touch us. Since they were so soaked in greed, hatred and ambition that they cant touch something so pure and good."and the invisibility cloak - do you know who sent it to me?" I smiled at him happy that he remembered to ask about that since none of us knew who had sent him the cloak. "Ah - your father happened to leave it in my possession, and I thought you might like it. Useful things... your father used it mainly for sneaking off to the kitchens to steal food when he here."

However when Harry brought up Snape and Quirrell I glared at him since I had already proven that Snape was innocent. "Quirrell said that professor Snape hates me because of my father. Is that true?? He seemed to love Serena though..." Dumbledore smiled at us which had me shivering since the look in his eye was weird and I didn't like it. "Well, they did rather detest each other. Not unlike yourself and Mr. Malfoy. And then, you father did something Snape could never forgive." Now that peaked my interest what had dad done to Snape that made him hate him so much but Harry managed to voice his interest. We were both surprised with Dumbledore's answer though since it was something even I didn't think Snape would hate dad for. "He saved his life." That stumped me why would Snape hate dad for saving him, why had he been in danger in the first place. "Yes... funny, the way people's minds work, isn't it? Professor Snape couldn't bear being in your father's debt... I do believe he worked do hard to protect you this year because he felt that would make him and your father even. Although I'm not sure why he protected you Miss Serena, it maybe because you reminded him so much of your mother one of his dearest friends. Then he could go back to hating your father's memory in peace..." I could tell Harry was having a hard time with this, heck I was to but I knew a good night's sleep would help that and, "Sir, theres one more thing." I looked at him confused wondering what else Harry could want to ask Dumbledore but then I remembered about the Stone.

"How did I get the Stone out of the mirror?" I nodded wondering that same thing since Quirrell hadn't been able to get it out. "Ah, now I'm glad you asked me that. It was one of my more brilliant ideas, and between you two and me, that's saying something. You see, only one wanted to find the Stone - find it but not use it - would be able to get it, otherwise they'd just see themselves making gold or drinking the Elixir of Life. My brain surprises even me sometimes... Now enough questions. I'd suggest you make a start on these sweets. Ah! Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans! I was unfortunate enough in my youth to come across a vomit-flavored one, since then I'm afraid I've rather lost my liking for them - but I think I'll be safe with a nice toffee, don't you?" I nodded knowing how random those beans are so I doubted he'd get the one he wanted. "Alas! Ear wax!" I just started laughing knowing that was what he was trying to do, cheer us up for what happened. It was a few minutes later that Harry was practically arguing with Madam Pomfrey about letting about letting our friends in. She gave up after a few minutes before letting them in but only for five minutes since we needed our rest. They were very worried about what happened while telling us that the whole school was talking about what happened. So we told them what happened after we went through the flame which had Hermione screaming about what had really been under Quirrells turban. However when we told them that it probably wasn't over they didn't like it too much heck neither did I, I hated the fact that I would have to face him again soon. Then we all started talking about how Dumbledore seemed to know we'd go after Quirrell but Harry thought it might be a test. Then Ron mentioned the end of year feast that we had to attend before Madam Pomfrey came over and started practically pushing them out. I yelled at them to apologize to Snape for blaming him since that had been our agreement when we went down to protect the Stone. We went to bed shortly after completely exhausted from the days conversations and using our brains to much. We felt much better the next day which had me happy while sitting up and stretching while smiling before Madam Pomfrey came over. "We can go to the feast, cant we?" She nodded saying Dumbledore allowed it which had us happy no more being stuck in a bed all day long bored. She then surprised us by saying we had another visitor but then I remembered Fluffy so I figured it would be Hagrid coming to apologize.

Just as Harry asked who it was Hagrid walked in making me smile at him since I loved talking with Hagrid about all the creatures around Hogwarts. He sat down next to us but when we looked at him he immediately broke down into tears which had me worried. "Its - all - my - ruddy - fault! I told the evil git how to get past Fluffy! It was the only thing he didn't know, an' I told him! Yeh could've died! All fer a dragon egg! I'll never drink again! I should be chucked out and' made ter live as a Muggle!" Harry and I could both tell that Hagrid was going way overboard with the self blame which wasn't good for him. "Hagrid! Hagrid, he'd have found out somehow, this is Voldemort were talking about, he'd have found out even without you having told him." However Hagrid wasn't having it since he kept saying that we could have died and that we shouldn't say Voldemort's name so Harry shouted it. "We've met him and we're calling him by his name. Please cheer up, Hagrid, we saved the Stone, it's gone, he cant use it. Have a chocolate Frog, We've got loads." I nodded laughing at all the chocolate frogs we had which was more than we could eat that's for sure. "That reminds me, I've got yeh both a present." Harry asked if it was a stoat sandwich but Hagrid just gave a weak laugh after he had wiped his nose on the back of his hand. "Nah. Dumbledore gave me the day off yesterday ter fix it. 'Course, he shoulda sacked me instead - anyway, got yeh this..." I gave him a look when he said Dumbledore should've sacked him, but he handed over two handsome, leather-covered books. When we opened them curiously, we noticed it was full of wizard photos which moved. They all seemed to smile and wave at us on every page but what got me was that it was our parents. "Sent owls off ter all yer parents' old school friends, askin' fer photos... knew yeh didn't have any... d'yeh like it?" I smiled at him before carefully getting out of bed and hugging him through my tears and I could tell Harry couldn't speak. "Thank you Hagrid, thank you... we love it." He just smiled before patting my back gently so I wouldn't get anymore hurt than I already was.

We made our way down to the feast alone but that was ok with us it gave us time to rethink everything that's happened. Madam Pomfrey had insisted on giving us one last check up before letting us go which allowed the Great Hall to fill up. Only thing was it was decked out in Slytherin colors but I didn't care I had watched Harry apologize to Snape already when he visited me so nothing could bring me down right now. When we walked in there was a sudden hush before everyone started speaking loudly at once so it was hard to understand them. We made our way to Ron and Hermione at our table while trying to ignore the fact that people were standing up to look at us. Dumbledore arrived moments later which I knew was a relief to Harry since everyone quieted down. "Another year gone! And I must trouble you with an old man's wheezing waffle before we sink our teeth into our delicious feast. What a year it has been! Hopefully your heads are all a little fuller than they were... you have the whole summer ahead to get them nice and empty before next year starts... Now as I understand it, the house cup needs awarding, and the points stand at thus: fourth place Gryffindor with three hundred and twelve points; in third, Hufflepuff, with three hundred and fifty-two points; in second, Ravenclaw, with four hundred and twenty-six points; and Slytherin, four hundred and seventy-two." A storm of cheering and stomping broke out from the Slytherin table we could see Draco banging his goblet on the table. "Yes, yes, well done Slytherin. However, recent events must be taken into account." That got everyone since I was sure we wouldn't be awarded for any of that since we broke the rules. "Ahem, I have a few last-minute points to dish out. Let me see, yes... first - to Mr. Ronald Weasley...for the best played game of chess Hogwarts has seen in many years. I award Gryffindor house fifty points." I could see Ron turning bright red from embarrassment which had me smiling at him since he was a good player.

Everyone at the table cheered for him as well it seemed everyone was happy with the increase in points. Percy could be heard praising about how Ron got past McGonagall's giant chess set which I could tell made Ron happy. "Second - to Miss Hermione Granger... for the use of cool logic in the face of fire, I award Gryffindor house fifty points." Hermione practically buried her face in her arms from embarrassment at being called out like that which is understandable, and we were up a hundred points. "Third - to Mr. Harry Potter... for pure nerve and outstanding courage, I award Gryffindor house sixty points." It was practically hard to hear a whisper in the loud cheering that happened when everyone realized we had been tied with Slytherin. "Fourth - to Miss Serena Potter... for the calm use of intellect and unwavering loyalty to her friends and family, sixty points." I looked at him shocked as my face heated up a little having all the attention on me since I wasn't used to it.

Dumbledore raised his hand in ordered to get everyone to quiet down so that he could continue to speak with everyone's attention. "They are all kinds of courage, it takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to your enemies but a great deal more to stand up to your friends. I therefore award ten points to Mr. Neville Longbottom." It sounded like a bomb had went off in the Great Hall with all the cheering, although I saw Neville duck under the table embarrassed. Even Draco didn't like the news but seemed to smile at me when I looked at him. "Which means, we need a little change of decoration." He clapped his hands, in an instant the green hangings became scarlet and then silver became gold: the huge Slytherin serpent vanished. A towering Gryffindor lion took its place I was happy to see Snape shacking McGonagall's hand with a smile. I sent him an apologetic message which he replied in kind, I could tell that he was proud of me. Although it seemed that he still didn't like Harry to much but that could change with time, I hope. It was a fun night we all pretty much had a blast and I knew we would never forget this night no matter what. We had almost forgotten about our exam results, to our surprise Harry and Ron had passed with good Mark's. Hermione had gotten the best outta the first years, well all but me since I had gotten perfect scores in all my classes. Even Neville had scraped through, his good Herbology mark making up for his abysmal Potions one.

The boys had hoped Goyle, who was almost as stupid as he was mean, and that he might be thrown out, but he passed. Then it was time to pack up to head back to the Dursleys which was going to be fun, since they didn't know we weren't allowed to do magic outside of school. Notes had been handed out to everyone not to use magic over the holidays which I placed in my pocket. I heard Fred say that he hoped they'd forget to hand out the notes which I found funny since I had spent a good amount of time with them in my spare time. I had learned a lot of tricks from them as well which will come in handy when we get home so we'd be prepared. Hagrid took us back across the lake it was really cool, we all boarded the train and were laughing the entire time going back to our homes. We were eating the candy we got as we sped last Muggle towns, while pulling off our wizard attire. We put back on our Muggle clothes... well the ones I had bought at Madam Malkin's shop which I knew would fit us. "You did a good job in choosing these Serena, the Dursleys won't know these are wizard clothes." I smiled at him nodding since I had chosen a few that were just like the ones we wore at home. I even managed to get us some good winter coats rather than the thin ones Petunia and Vernon give us. I just couldn't wait until next year when we went back to our true home rather than the one we were heading to now. We had to go there one at a time to not scare the Muggles but it didn't really help that we still did, popping out of a stone wall. "You must come and stay this summer, all three of you - I'll send you an owl." Ron said excitedly which had us all nodding happily since we could all get together even over the holidays. "Thanks, we'll need something to look forward to." Harry said smiling at Ron which had me nodding, wanting more than anything to get away from the Dursleys. We said our byes after we had gone through the gate heading to our respective families, even hearing Mrs. Weasley talking got Ginny. She smiled at us when we got over to her but I was happy to see her since she was more like a mother figure than any we knew. We thanked her for her gifts at Christmas but she didn't mind at all but all happiness faded when we heard Vernon. "Ready are you?" Vernon looked like his face was our of oxygen since it was purple and he was still furious with us about all of this. He didn't like the fact that we were carring owls and a cat with two tails in a station full of ordinary people. Behind him was Petunia and Dudley who seemed terrified at the sight of us and Mrs. Weasley not knowing about our family just walked up to them. "You must be Harry and Serena's family!" I could tell Vernon was not happy with all of this since a wizard family was speaking to him like it was normal. "In a manner of speaking, hurry up you two, we haven't got all day." I really didn't want to go with them and neither did Harry apparently we hung back for a few last words. "See you over the summer." Hermione wished us a good summer but knew we wouldn't have one as we all looked at uncle Vernon. "Oh, we will, they don't know we're not allowed to use magic at home. We're going to have a lot of fun with Dudley this summer..."

End of book one!
