9 9 - Rest of Classes and ROR.

After Transfiguration ended, I made my way up to Astronomy and I'll spare you the details, we didn't actually see anything considering it was day time and we learned about star constellations and whatever, I stopped listening when I realised the wizarding world thinks The Sun revolves around the Earth.

After reading a book on powerful families, trying and failing to find Goldstein during my break, I went to my third lesson of the day which was Magical Theory with Hufflepuffs.

* 1 hour later *

Well that was a waste of time, we ended up learning about magical cores which considering I bought and read every book I could find on them, was a huge waste of my time. It was basically an information dump talking about how everyone's magical core is slightly different and everyone has a different magical signature.

Now, what's next? History of Magic... great, just great.

* 1 hour later *

Well, I'm never attending that class again, I'm gonna self-study, if someone has a problem with that, they can go shove it up thei- ahem, anyway, what lesson have I got next?

Potions.. this'll be fun.. or annoying.

We all walked into class.. well, I say walked but 90% of the class pretty much ran to their seats in fear, I for one don't get what's so scary about him, with that damn billowing cloak he's just an overgrown bat with delusions of grandeur.

"You are here to learn the subtle science and exact art of potion-making,"

"As there is little foolish wand-waving here, many of you will hardly believe this is magic. I don't expect you will really understand the beauty of the softly simmering cauldron with its shimmering fumes, the delicate power of liquids that creep through human veins, bewitching the mind, ensnaring the senses... I can teach you how to bottle fame, brew glory, even stopper death—if you aren't as big a bunch of dunderheads as I usually have to teach."

Well now you're just lying. Bottle fame, brew glory, stop death? Yea, no. You just write the instructions on the board and tell us to not mess up.

I was in the middle of stirring my potion clockwise 8 times when Snape appeared behind me, startling me, I ended up dropping the stirring rod and messing up my potion.

"5 points from Ravenclaw".

I knew it was pointless to talk back so I didn't even bother but I swear i'll make Snape's life miserable for every year I'm at Hogwarts.

After Potions ended I made my towards the greenhouses to get to Herbology. Apparently we won't be doing any practical work until second year which is boring.

* 1 hour later *

Like I thought, She talked about The Devils Snare and how you can deal with it using strong light or fire.

And so, that was my first day at Hogwarts, can't say it was amazing but it was pretty fun living my childhood dream, I always wanted to go to Hogwarts as a kid in my previous life and meet all the teachers and learn all the magic there.

I have a few goals I plan on doing in Hogwarts, at least before Harry Potter gets here.

1 - Prank Snape, as much as I can.

2 - Use the ROR to learn as many spells as possible and increase my duelling strength too.

3 - Partner up with Weasley twins, prank the school, have fun.

4 - Find out about the Goldstein family, they're not in any book that I have read and yet one of them are in their 2nd Magical Transformation.

5 - Get all of my magical subjects past NEWT level.

6 - Try out flying, although I don't think quidditch would be a good use of my time.

So, with these thoughts in mind, I went to bed, and fell asleep. The next day, nothing significant happened, in classes at least.

Charms was fun but we didn't really do anything and DADA was taught by a mediocre teacher who didn't really seem to know what he was doing.

After the end of dinner, it was 7:30pm, saying goodbye to Ryan, Kevin and Penelope who I suppose were my friends since we group together during Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, I cast a few spells on myself, covering my scent, sound and body, making sure The Paintings or Filch's Cat didn't spot me, I made my way to the seventh floor, found the painting of Barnabus the Barmy and thought 3 times of a room where I can learn useful spells and practice my duelling.

Opening my eyes I found a door that wasn't there before, opening it and stepping through I found myself in a room with a huge bookshelf to my left full of books of all shapes and sizes along with a duelling area with multiple puppets that would act as duelling partners to my right. Near the duelling area was a desk with a single book on top of it which I made my way over to.

The cover was blank apart from a simple picture of a wand on the front. Opening it I realised it was instructions of how to use the duelling area.

Apparently there are 7 modes that are Easy, Mediocre, Average, Slightly Difficult, Difficult, Very Difficult and Duelling Champion.

Wizards aren't very good at naming things, huh. There was a separate difficulty that I had to pass all 7 modes before unlocking. Making sure the door to the room was locked with every locking charm I knew, I tried something out, I thought "I want a room with a time compression on it.".. apparently nothing happened, I didn't think it would, but I read in some fanfics where this actually did work and couldn't help myself.

Now where was I? Oh, right.

"Ahem, uhh Level 1?"

All of a sudden the 4 puppets came to life and one threw a stinging hex at me, quickly dodging out of the way, another hex came flying out of the way, ducking this one I tried fighting back.

'Stupefy' I called out in my mind without actually saying it out loud, can't shout what you're doing in a serious duel can you?'

The puppet that was hit by my stunning charm stopped moving and I quickly jumped out of the way of another stinging hex coming my way, due to the bad landing I had when jumping out of the way, I had no time to dodge another hex that hit me right in the left shoulder.

"Ouch!" I couldn't help but call out, this served to distract causing me to get hit by another spell in the chest. "Ow!" and finally a got hit in the stomach by another hex before all of the Puppets stopped moving.

"Goddammit, that was painful", I then sighed, 'I can't expect to get stronger without some pain, can I?' With that thought in mind I spent the next hour repeatedly trying level 1, by the end of it I was able to win 60% of the time while losing 40% because I continually thought about what I did wrong and tried to improve upon it.

Thinking of a clock, one appeared on the wall and it showed it was 8:40pm. It takes around 15 minutes to get to the common room at a normal walking speed so, quickly scanning a book on duelling techniques and spells, I made my towards my common room.

Making it there at 8:53pm, I made my way to my room, which unlike Gryffindor and Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw let's everyone have their own room. Entering my mindscape, I reviewed the Duelling book that I flicked through earlier and after 5 minutes, could remember everything written on it in perfect clarity, 'Man having a perfect memory feels good.'.

The next day I got up at 7:00am like every other day and went for my morning run like always, now that I think about it, because of all the exercise I've done since I was 7, I've got a pretty good physique, well.. I'm 11 so it isn't really that developed but my body is in great shape, I'm slightly tall for my age and a have a healthy.. pale.. complexion.. what? I like to stay inside a lot okay, who needs the sun anyway? My body's healthy anyway so it's not important.

Classes today went as usual, teachers either not teaching like History of Magic that while I said I wouldn't go back, have decided to wear invisibly charmed earplugs and instead read a history book that I am able to read perfectly in minutes if I want to.

Man I need some music, silence is boring. I've decided I'm gonna add 'Figure out how to make muggle technology work in magical areas. They say the magic interferes with the technology but I'm sure there's gotta be a way to get around that, meh I'll get to it eventually.

As for other classes, astronomy is just so far behind muggle knowledge that I mainly just tune this lesson out and review one of the books I read earlier. DADA sucked as usual while Charms and Herbology I'm already so far ahead that I doubt I'll ever learn anything in class because by the time I get to the lesson, I've already read books far above that level.

The only new lesson today, was flying.
