147 Chapter 147: the Duel

Over Hogwarts away from the chaos of giant spiders fighting Giants and other creatures, a blackish gray smoke followed by several brooms dropped down into Hogwarts and easily made their way into the grand hall due to the missing door and broken walls.

"This battle is over" Voldemort shouted and it sounded though out the castle as the death eaters gather all the Hogwarts army into the grand hall " Harry Potter is dead"

"What No that can't be possible" A Ginny shouted out hearing the news.

"but it is my dear," Lucius said

"Snape tell me it's not true" Professor McGonagall shouted at him but Snape didn't reply and just kept looking around the destroyed grand hall.

"We have a lot of cleaning up to do," Snape said as he looking at Nagini and then turning towards Neville and the twins" My lord I have a proposal"

"Say what you want Severus and it shall be yours," Voldemort said looking at everyone who was broken at the news of Harry Potters death "after all they have no hope left"

"You are wrong" Neville shouted out and Voldemort turned to face him" even if Harry is gone we will never, never stop fighting for what's right"

There was a silence after that and Neville continue" As Long as there is one of us still here, we will fight you"

"You are right," Voldemort said looking at Neville.

Flying towards the Grand hall was another ball of blackish gray smoke but it wasn't as nearly big as Voldemort own and behind it was three-person flying a broom, there was a shout of "Flipendo" from the black smoke saving Neville from a killing curse.

Every death eater in the grand hall point their wand at the black smoke but what happen surprised many of them, Snape began to attack every one of them without stop saving Edwin from having to dodge the spells.

"Flipendo," Snape said knocking Nagini into a crowd" killer her at any cost"

Isabella was in the group with Ginny and Ysabel, the three of them quickly cast a full body bind charm on Nagini as the death eaters were being distracted by Edwin" quick take out the poison" Yasbel shouted as Isabella took the Basilisk venom.

"What are you doing stop them" Bellatrix shouted as she tries to get closer to them but she was stopped by Neville and Professor McGonagall, the two fought as they tried to keep her away but suddenly it changed as Bellatrix cast the killing curse aiming at Neville.

Seeing the spell coming Professor McGonagall saved Neville using a broken piece of the grand hall wall, Neville in turn attacked Bellatrix killing her with an exploding charm that took a chunk of her right side.

Edwin threw Harry out of the black smoke as they land and stood his ground helping his friends to land but they didn't land instead they charged right into a group of death eaters knocking them down, Asen who had charged in with them got up complaining about his back to Ivan.

"Dad, I���m sorry," Theodore said as he knocked his father out with a simple sleeping charm that would have been easily deflected or dodged.

"You're alive" Voldemort said as Harry approached him.

"I am" Harry shouted" Let's end it"

Hearing that the fighting suddenly stopped and everyone watched them but it was a mistake on the death eaters side as Isabella got the vile open and poured it into Nagini and soon she began to foam and spasm.

The grand hall entered a silence as they waited for the duel to start, a ruble fell from the ceiling and it created a loud bang and as if using it as a started point Voldemort and Harry both attacked at the same time.

"Aveda Kedavra" Voldemort shouted as a green light shot out of a smooth black wand that has engravings at the handle.

"Expelliarmus" Harry shouted and a scarlet light shouts out from a wand that looked as though it was old and was joined in the middle by a tree not.

The two spells meet at the middle pushing against each other but suddenly the scarlet light began to overpower the green and within moments it reached Voldemort disarming him." Accio wand" Voldemort called out but his wand couldn't move.

He was getting older by the second, his skin begun to wither into a whiter color as if he was sheading It, Voldemort fell to the floor as his body clenched up muttering" whyyy it can't be" and within a minute he died and his body couldn't be recognized a human corpse.

There was a shouted and cheer as everyone celebrate their victory over, somehow when Edwin looked around he notices that some of the death eaters were happy that Voldemort died as they didn't attack or try to run and the Hogwarts didn't attack them.

"Isabella, Ivan, Yasbel" Edwin shouted out and he received a hug from behind.

"We did it" Isabella shouted out.

"Wait!" Edwin shouted out and everyone looked at him" Bellatrix"

"Dead" Neville answer

"Barty "Edwin once again called out.

"Dead" Moody answer as he tried to stop his missing arm's bleeding.

"Peter"

"Meow"

Edwin looked at for sound of the meow only to see Rain eating a dead rat, looking closely at the rat once could see faint shades of fur showing it's an animagus, Umbridge was also killed and no one close to Edwin was.

For the remainder of the night, everyone mourns the dead and celebrates their victory against the dark lord" Edwin" Harry called out holing the elder wand.

"Expelliarmus" Edwin waste no time in disarming Harry and collecting the wand back.

After the battle most of the death eaters were capture and Draco, Theodore got off due to Snape, Edwin and Harry vouching for them but their fathers couldn't be saved from Azkaban
