Chapter 2: Meeting The Parkinson Family And First Kiss!

The next morning, Draco continued to study in his study as usual.

"Knock knock knock" he heard the sound of old steward after three knocks: "Young Master, the Parkinson Family is here, Master asked you to go out and greet them."

"Okay, I will be there right away," Draco answered.

Draco slowly closed his book and entered the living room. Gazing far away, he saw one tall, one short and two other silhouettes, which he estimated to be the Parkinson Family who visited today.

"Hector, it's been a really long time, but you are still the same." Lucius's face showed a rare smile, but no one knew that this smile was a bit sincere.

"Yeah, long time no see, Lucius." Hector also symbolically greeted.

"Little Draco, come over." Lucius waved to Draco. "This is your Uncle Hector, one of my best friends from Hogwarts, and it is the same now."

"Greetings, Uncle Hector." Draco succumbed to a slight, polite greeting, and then stayed silent.

"I heard that you are a squib?" A crisp voice suddenly came. The owner of the voice didn't need to be thought deeply about. It was naturally what he calls the official match – Pansy Parkinson.

"Her character was really foreseeable." Draco thought silently, he could not help but look at Pansy. She had short chestnut hair, scattered around her ear, slightly messy bangs covered most of her forehead, with a gothic-style black pleated dress, and a proud look. Leaving only one word in the onlooker's mind: Princess, but in the Parkinson Family, Pansy was doted upon heavily, so it is not too much to call her a small Princess. But the harsh words from naturally break the noble temperament she had shown till now.

"Pansy! Is this the etiquette that I taught you in the past?" Hector hearing this, his complexion changed, and immediately openly rebuked Pansy. "Apologize to Uncle Lucius and Master Draco."

"Humph." Pansy didn't go too far and gave a brief remark.

"She is a child and doesn't know anything, Hector no need to be angry. Draco, go with Pansy give her a tour of the manor. I have something to discuss with your Uncle." Lucius didn't seem to hear the insulting words of the family.

"Okay, father." Draco slightly bowed.

"Pansy, go with Draco to go shopping together, remember to apologize."

"I don't want to follow a squib," Pansy whispered to herself.

"Pansy!" Hector's shouted in an even heavier tone.

"This Beautiful Lady, please." Draco bowed and walked whilst showing a gentleman's etiquette. "I think our fathers must have something to do, we should not bother them now."

"What a little gentleman and the etiquette is impeccable." Hector couldn't help but sigh, "Lucius. Your education is really successful. Unlike our Pansy, who I've spoiled since she was young, and has no regards for the etiquette and of natural morality. I dare not say anything."

Lucius lightly said with a smile: "a child's words carry no harm. Well, she is lively which is also very good, they're children, let them get along for a while." The sentence had barely fallen. When he turned to Draco and said, "I believe that you will get along very well with her. Entertain Pansy. I will go upstairs with Uncle. I haven't seen him for quite some time." Then he went upstairs with Hector and disappeared at the end of the stairs.

The scene after that was silent. But the silence was finally broken by Draco. "I think even if you don't understand me, but standing here should be more boring than just being with me. In this manor, maybe you can find something you are interested in?" As an adult soul, he could easily overcome the awkward silence and communicate with Pansy whilst ignoring her insults. Pansy awkwardly nodded: "Then I will be merciful and let you be my guide." Under a helpless expression, there was also a slight expectation. After all, Draco's Family is also one of the Ancient Wizard Families. There may be some interesting things happening in the mysterious manor.

"I'm very honoured," Draco replied.

"This little girl is really bad." Draco, who was single in his life, couldn't help but have a bellyful of anger.

The two slowly walked in the hallway, and the expensive lamps between the aisles radiated gentle rays of light, which made the lines formed by the erosive darkness on the grey walls visible. Every time they walked, they could see the wall. There is a painting of a celebrity that has long since lost or a portrait of the ancestor of the Draco family.

Due to the complexity of the internal structure of the Malfoy manor, the layout of the various cloisters was entangled and twisted, and there were many rumours. It is easy for people who are not familiar with them to get lost, so Draco looked towards Pansy and stressed: "Remember to follow me, don't get lost."

"You have said this three times, no trouble, little squib." Pansy was impatient. "You are saying this so you don't have to go take me to see interesting things. Don't tell me you are taking me to see these broken paintings in the corridor." The corridor that had been around having made Pansy lose patience." "The authors of these paintings and the ancestors of the Draco Family will cry if they hear you." Draco hearing this couldn't help thinking. "She's a bad girl, I wonder who will marry her?" Draco thought as he walked.

"This room is very special." Breaking the silence that had lasted.

Hearing this, Draco suddenly turned his head and looked at it with a faint light. He saw Pansy standing in front of a stone gate, and the stone door was marked with strange symbols, revealing a gloomy sight.

"This room does not seem to be right." Draco immediately flashed a copy of the Dark Magic Introduction Book he had seen, with a lot of symbols on the ancient magic's spells.

"Pansy, don't go in!" Draco hurried to Pansy, but he was too late, Pansy's curiosity made her push the door open and go straight. It was strange to say that the seemingly heavy stone door was actually pushed open by eight years old. The little girl opened it when she pushed it. Then something more unusual happened, and the door gradually began to close by itself. Pansy, who was looking at the room curiously, did not notice this.

"Oh no." Draco shook his head and rushed into the door before the door closed.

With a bang, the heavy door closed. In the room, some of the light that was illuminated by the lighting outside the door also disappeared. Pansy, who was carefully observing the Chamber, couldn't help but come back to her senses.

"Fortunately, it is not a forbidden place." After rushing into the door, Draco glanced at the room with a faint light. Looking at some of the magic material and the broken wand, with his rich knowledge reserves, Draco immediately judged what it was.

"This kind of security protection can be easily broken into by two kids. Father, you dare to study dark magic? When is the person who is not afraid of the Ministry of Magic suddenly attack?" With the clues on the scene, the knowledge in his mind and the right understanding, Draco quickly concluded that this Chamber is nowhere else; but a laboratory. Specifically one for the study of dark magic.

Draco had a bellyful of anger. But now was not the time to worry about this, going out was key. "I don't know if this Miss was scared." Draco started to have a headache again. "If you don't have a lamp, you can't see anything in this dark Chamber. Although I haven't started to study magic and dark magic deeply yet, only one Lumos can still do the job and light the room."

Pansy seemed to finally come back to her senses. Draco was currently in the dark, but if there was any light, he would be able to see the slight trembling of her body, betraying the fact that she was afraid.

Pansy, however, insisted on calmly saying: "This is where your family lives. Why don't you have a single lamp? Doesn't it mean that the Draco Family which is famous for its wealth can't even buy a lamp? There is no such place in this Young Lady's home." Although she was afraid, her sharp tongue had not changed.

Draco didn't reply in the dark.

Because he decided to give this little loli a little lesson.

"You aren't saying something, are you scared?" Pansy continued. Draco remained silent. After a while, "Are you dumb? Give me a reply or I will complain to Uncle Lucius! "Pansy cried. But the silence remained.

This went on for a long time until she once again spoke.

"Malfoy? I won't call you a squib. Are you still there? Say something! " This time her tone was weaker.

The scary thing about the darkness was not just the absence of light and fear of the unknown, but also the sense loneliness it brought with it.

After a period in darkness and no response, Pansy started to get anxious. She started fidgeting. Her fear and loneliness continued to increase, and slowly piece by piece it started breaking down her facade. Through her words, it could be seen that her attitude was softening.

Coupled with the fact, that she had heard rumours about how Lucius was besotted with Dark Magic, her feelings became more and more unstable. After all, not all pure-blooded wizards loved Black Magic. Even pure-blooded family's like The Parkinson's just admired the pureblood theory and their attitude towards black magic was similar to that from ordinary wizards. That is, fear and distaste.

Even adult wizards feared Black Magic, forget an eight-year-old girl.

"Forget it. It's boring to bully a little girl." Seeing her fear, thought Draco and responded: "I remember that there was a wand nearby." And very soon he found it. Moving towards the bookshelf he picked up the wand.

"Sure enough, I can't see a girl being wronged. ", Draco thought briefly before waving his wand and chanting the spell.

"Lumos!"

The dark chamber was immediately brightly lit.

Under such intense stimuli, Pansy was shocked and she looked up to see the light source.

Opposite her, Draco saw her eyes were red and there were tears in her eyes. If not for her pride, Pansy wouldn't have been able to retain her tears.

"This is probably not going to end here." thought Draco. Seeing her like this he regretted his decision.

"Don't blame me for this. You called me a Squib so many times, I was just paying you back for that." he hurriedly clarified. The education he had received was deeply etched in his mind. A man making a girl cry wasn't a matter of pride. But he couldn't just step down now.

After Pansy heard this, she said nothing. He said nothing. Silence reigned the room. There was no sound except for that of weak breathing. Despite being lit, the room wasn't any less gloomy than it was in darkness. Under the light, the dark shadows cast by them stood still, motionless, as if time had come to a stop in this room.

But with the opening of the door, the awkward silence was also broken. Both of them looked at the opening door.

Lucius walked in quickly, followed by Hector. The two hurriedly glanced through the room, and suddenly Hector's face became ugly.

A lonely man and woman, both in the same room, the women eyed were red and covered with tears as if she had been crying. If the two of them were even a little older, Hector would have directly given Draco the Killing Curse- although he didn't. But even so, seeing his baby daughter's frightened look, Hector needed an explanation. So he looked at Lucius expecting him to deal with this.

"How are you and Pansy here?", Lucius asked in a harsh tone directly. Although he knew Draco wouldn't do anything to tarnish the Malfoy Family's reputation. But the current situation clearly showed that Pansy had suffered, so he couldn't just cover up this. And Hector was also expecting an answer, so he had to go through the necessary routines.

"I… ", Draco was preparing to explain, but Pansy interrupted him.

"I accidentally came in. Draco followed in to protect me. When I was scared, he used Lumos to dispel the darkness. Uncle Lucius, Father, I made you worry. ", Pansy hastily explained. Her slightly red eyes and pitiful expression, along with the soft whispering tone, made her look like a bullied child.

Hearing this, Hector's face eased up a lot and he asked, "Did you thank him?"

"Thank you, Draco. I was wrong. I was obviously so rude to you. But you were still patient with me." Pansy thanked him and she couldn't help but bury her face like a shy deer.

Seeing this, Draco's mouth twitched. His intuition told him that this wasn't the end. But he still replied, "Don't worry. I couldn't properly entertain you. Sorry." He turned his head to Hector and apologized, "Uncle Hector, I am sorry. I did not take care of Pansy."

Hector folded his hands and replied, "Don't worry. It's not your fault. In fact, I have to say thanks to you." He turned back and looked at Pansy, "Go and pack your bag. Look at how much trouble you have caused."

"It's getting late. We should also leave Lucius." After some more small talk, he bid farewell to Lucius. " But old man, I want to say one more thing. Next time I meet you, I don't want to see you in Azkaban. Deal with those things as soon as possible. Pure blooded wizards are already few, and it would be bad if you go in too." Although Hector didn't have too much interest in Dark Magic, he was still the Head of an Ancient Family. So he obviously had some inkling about the dark items that the chamber housed and their use. So he advised to Lucius.

"Naturally, Naturally!" Lucius said with a laugh and changed the topic.

Afterwards, Lucius and Draco saw Pansy and her father all the way to the door.

"That's it, Lucius. " Hector stopped.

"Today was really unexpected. ", Lucius apologized once again.

"It is not necessary to say these kinds of things between us. It might have actually turned my little princess for good. Maybe I should thank you instead. "said Hector, and looked down at Pansy, "Is it right my Princess? "

"Yes," Pansy said in a small voice, then once again looked down at the ground and stopped talking.

The two elder were very happy, so Draco naturally wouldn't say anything. But looking at the seemingly docile Pansy, he felt an inexplicable sense of fear.

"Oh, I didn't pay attention to the time. We have already stood here for so long. It's getting too late. I should be leaving." Complained Hector and looked up at the darkening sky.

"Haha, I will not stop you anymore." Said Lucius gracefully.

Hearing this Draco was relieved. You have to know that his daily schedule was strictly planned. Spell Study and theoretical studies naturally couldn't be dropped. Today's visitation was completely unplanned and had caused him to waste a lot of time. "It seems that I will need to study overtime today." Since he was determined, Draco naturally demands from himself the highest standards. He couldn't have the slightest of slack.

Just as Draco was planning tonight's study program, an accident happened!

Pansy suddenly broke free from Hector's hand and ran towards Draco. Draco who was busy in his own world didn't realize this. He only saw Pansy standing in front of him. She quietly said, "Thank you. " Then she kissed Draco's forehead.

"What the hell is this?!? " Draco didn't have any time to react and only felt the warm touch of the Loli's lips. He was immediately stunned! "Is this Loli an 'M'? Or is she trying to teach me a lesson?"

Everything happened too fast. The two adults could only stand stunned and stare at the scene.

"It seems your kid is going to wrest my princess away. " Hector reacted first and joked. "It's very good for you."

"You are joking. The little child doesn't understand anything." But Lucius's gloomy face still showed a little smile. He was feeling proud of his child's charm.

After the kiss, Pansy's face was also covered with a shy blush. She immediately ran back to Hector and buried her face in his cloak, with a shy look. But if anyone could observe closely, they will find a sinister smirk on her face, like a sly little fox.

"Father, let's go! " Pansy pooled her father's arm and shouted as if she was still shy about what happened and couldn't help but rush away.

"Fine. Lucius, our family's Pansy is urging me to leave. But since she's so interested in Draco, we will meet again soon."

"Haha, you are always welcomed" responded Lucius with a smile.

In this way, Draco finally finished the one-day hospitality event. After sending away The Parkinson's, he finally could relax and proceed with his plan
