''MONY!" Tyler graced me with his blatant voice.

"What?" I glared at him, hoping my eyes would wondrously shoot daggers through his head.

"Why aren't you looking around? This is amazing" He grinned, excitedly.

At that moment I realized, that I wasn't aware of where we were going. From the moment I woke, it was like I was here and I wasn't at the same time. I guess this is what music does to me. It makes me forget about everything around me.

My eyes started to capture in, everything surrounding me. I was still in the car, with everyone. Looking outside the car window, I was startled. Astonished by the beauty of the beach we were passing by.

I came to one and only one conclusion only. There was no other place on earth like it. It looked amazing with it's magical morning light. I guess it was around nine in the morning or something.

There were many couples on the beach. Holding hands, cuddling, kissing, walking together. Somehow the feeling on envy ran through me.

I wanted that.

You know that kind of true love someone receives from another? When the person makes you believe you're worthy of more? How you're heart speeds when they're around?

But of course I won't get that.

Who would want me out of all people. I'm not a beautiful, brunette girly girl like my sister. I'm this insecure, quite being. Who is desperate for love, not that I'll find it anytime soon.

I came to realize that, and the fact that my butt was numb. Oh God! I've been in this damn car for like what? Less than a day? I groaned moodily.

The beach was then replaced by alpine trees on the side of both roads. After only a couple of minutes, we reached our isolated, beach house. I smiled, remembering I'd get to see Grandma Cherry and Juicy, my black stallion. I got him as a gift on my birthday from my grandma herself.

"Oh My Gosh!" Tyler pinched me.

"Ouch! What the fuck, Tyler?" I screamed, rubbing my now sore skin.

"How dare you not tell me how amazing you're house is? Huh?"

"Oh I'm sorry, next time I'll give you a full report," I sarcastically answered back. The car soon parked, and without wasting anytime I quickly got out.

"Listen up everyone," My mother clapped her hands to get our attention, even though she only made eye contact with Cameron and May. "You can go rest right now, but the Moretti family will be over for dinner tonight"

"What?" My sister's jaw dropped. "May told me that was in two days?" She continued.

"Oh no, in two days that would be the party I'm hosting here," I rolled my eyes at her words. Of course she would have a party. All she ever does is host parties to show off how amazing her lifestyle is. "They will be here tonight and for the party," She nodded, walking straight back into the house. My sister followed giving her reasons to move the dinner thing.

"They sound like an important, rich family," Tyler stated, laughing.

"Oh they are," Fixing her hair, Chloe said.

"And you know this how?" I asked.

"First of all knowing your mother she would never invite anyone to the house unless they are either as rich as her or more. And second I read about this family on a magazine or something. They own the biggest chain of companies in the world. There are so many rumours about them though, from what I’ve read or heard they’ve got their hands on everything. Good and bad. Nothing happens without their knowledge.”

"As much as I want to continue this very interesting conversation please note my sarcasm, I want to actually go see someone who is worth wasting my time for," I yawned, not caring one bit about what she said. They rolled they're eyes knowing I was talking about my Grandma.

"Oh my sweet Harmony," My giggling grandma quickly pulled me into her arms as soon as I walked into the house.

"Hi grandma," I tried squirming away from her as she wet kissed all around my face.

"Mama cherry," Tyler joining the hug grandma and I were sharing. Chloe soon joined making it a group hug.

"You can let go of me now, Tyler" I sternly spoke.

"But I love hugging you, you're like a teddy bear," He hugged me even tighter.

"How flattering," I muttered. While grandma and Chloe laughed at my discomfort.

"So Harmony, are you excited?" Grandma, cheerfully asked.

"For what exactly?" Muddled, I asked.

"For the Moretti’s coming here, Silly" She laughed. “I heard that their son Carter might be joining the dinner.” She winked.

"Carter who?" Even though I knew there was just one Carter that was coming, due to May and Cameron's conversation. I wanted to know why the hell would I be excited.

"Don't you remember? He-" She got cut of by a loud bang, coming from downstairs. "Oh god, this new maid is killing me. I literally have to do everything by myself. Anyways you guys go rest for a little bit, and when they come I'll tell you okay?" And just at that she left us, before running off, downstairs to the kitchen.

"Why would you be excited to see a Carter? Is he your secret boyfriend?" Chloe smirked.

"What? No? What the hell? I don’t even know the guy." I let out.

"Then why are you being so defensive?" Tyler asked.

"I am not" I huffed.

"Whatever you say" They sang together, walking away. That only made even more annoyed than I was.

But I'd love to have a soul mate.

Singing along to the song, I stopped after the word; soulmate jumped out of my mouth.

I would love to have someone who makes me happy.

Someone who takes care of me.

Someone who treats me like a princess.

I slowly, walked over to my room's balcony. Breathing in the fresh air, once I reached. It was already dark now, I guess time flew by faster than light itself. Out of no where I saw an expensive, black car pop into the drive way. I couldn't see who came out of the car, but I knew they were the so-called guests.

I groaned knowing my mother wouldn't take long before sending someone to come and get me. I quickly picked out the first thing I saw from my bag which were jeans and normal shirt I never knew I had. I shrugged not minding wearing the most casual clothes ever. I smirked, thinking about the heart attack my mother would get over my outfit.

After the best thirty minute bubble bath ever, I got dressed. I sluggishly walked over to my bed to grab my headphones.

Pressing play, I made my way down the stairs. Blobbing my head to beat, I entered the dining room since that's where everyone was. The moment my mother saw me she got up from her seat, glaring at me before forcing a grin on her face.

She started threatening me to go upstairs and change whilst the massive grin still plastered on her face. I pressed shuffle and saw her still talking, I'm guessing it's about me being late, because she would point to her hand watch every now and then. I was holding back a laugh, because I couldn't hear shit. All I saw was the daily act of my mother going psycho on me.

The smell of food made sigh in satisfaction. So I ignored my mother, then walked over to the last seat, at the very end of the table. I knew everybody was watching me, but I didn't care I was determined to get some deliciousness into my system.

The moment the piece of chicken katsu, fell into my mouth from the fork I was using. I was about to let out a small moan. That’s how good it was.

My mother went back to the guests, giving them her best fake grin, while telling them a story about how amazing Cameron is, I bet. So that's when I started to notice the new faces that were sitting at the other end of the table.

One lady sat looking like she was, in the middle of her thirties. While a slightly older man who looked exactly like her, sat beside her having what seemed to be a deep discussion with my father. Then I looked at the next stranger, it was a young girl probably eleven or twelve years old, eating happily from her plate.

I only had one thought in mind, where was this Carter? Wasn’t I supposedly going to be happy to see him for some unknown reason?

“Your sister looks like she’s about to kill someone” Chloe whispered.

“Why?” I whispered back.

“Because the only people from the Moretti family that actually arrived as you can see is Moira Moretti, her brother Sam and her daughter Lily.” She said while holding a laugh.

“Where is her son and husband?” I asked.

“They-“

“Sorry we’re late, my son doesn’t like to keep anything work related till the next day.” A man suddenly walked in as if he owned the place said.

“That’s okay sweetheart, we just started eating dinner.” Moira got up to her husband’s side.

“It’s a pleasure to have you here Mr. Moretti.” My father shook his hand.

“Yeah we’ll you’ve asked me too many times to come over William. I decided if I just agree this one time you’d stop asking.” He scoffed rolling his eyes.

All eyes were focused on Mr. Moretti, that was of course until Cameron basically dashed off her chair to the man behind him. To the man she claims to be her future boyfriend.
