A wonderful way to die part 2

The lights only made things worse. How? Because they were everywhere. Surrounding Harley. She was overwhelmed by it all. Everything was wrong. She needed Ivy as that was all she could think about. The lights seemed like they were blurring and even flashing. She could almost see her memories like a movie.

Mr. J always treating her poorly. The pain and suffering of it. It was a horrible feeling. She could hear the voices in her head. It was the Joker. She thought of him at times like that because most of the terrible things in her life were because of him. She was truly scarred not just on her body but also her brain. It was like it was on fire. Her skin felt like it were boiling in thick mud. Drowning in it.

But one look at her and all you could see was her fake smile nothing more, nothing less. She took in a deep breath as Lucy stood in front of her. Harley could practically see the happiness radiating off her body.

"Damn... How can someone be that.. happy. Especially because of me, I'm not that great." She thought to herself.

Finally it was almost time for the worst part.

"Lucy Beth Cobblepot, do you take Harleen Quinzel to be your wife?"

Lucy looked at Harley with her cheeks bright red. "I do." She said.

"Harleen do you take Lucy to be your wife?"

Everyone looked at Harley waiting for her answer. Cobblepot gave her a look almost ensuring her death if she gave the wrong answer.

She tried to speak but no words came out. It was as if her body wouldn't let her. "Just say it, Harley!" She thought. Her eyes moved back and forth as her fist was clenched.

"I..." She paused.

Just as she was about to speak the ground began to shake. The tables and the decorations fell some of it shattered. Broken glass everywhere. No one knew what was happening until they saw it. Vines from every direction. Thorns that could kill and easily tear flesh. Everyone was terrified but Harley felt relief. It had to be Ivy.

The vines bolted through the mansion walls causing them to break. Ivy rose above the crowd wrapped in the vines.

"How could you forget to invite me?" She smirked.

Her green outfit was stunning in the eyes of Harley. It was new and improved. Tight yet perfectly fitting.

"Damn." She managed to say in amazement. Her stomach felt weird. Like butterflies. Her eyes gazed as she was stuck in the beauty and the excitement of it all. Of Ivy.

Most of the crowd panicked as they ran around screaming like scared little children.

It made both Harley and Ivy laugh.

"What's going on?!" Lucy yelled.

"You don't know? Right, of course you're a mindless little daddy's girl. It's the perfect wedding with the right person to crash it." She smirked.

Lucy screamed like a pig as the security brought her to safety pulling her away from Harley.

"What? I thought we were having fun!" She chuckled.

"Isn't this better then some boring old wedding?" Ivy said to Lucy.

"Shut up!! DADDY GET ME OUT OF HERE!" Lucy screamed once more as tears poured down her face smearing her makeup everywhere.

Harley and Ivy looked at each other with a smile. They couldn't help but stare for what felt like an eternity. Everything was slowed. Like everyone was there yet it was just the two of them.

But as Ivy heard a yell she looked in the corner of her eye and saw Cobblepot holding a gun pointed directly at Harley.

"No!!" Ivy shouted as the bullet was fired.
