Naruto

He started roaming around the village which was bustling with happiness like the incident of nine tails never happened. There were children running around, old discussing among themselves and some people in ninja costumes walking along the road.

He felt the air in this world very refreshing maybe because he came from the place without any form of spiritual energy, he felt very light in here.

He went to see the hokage rock up close not forgetting the ichiraku shop that every Naruto fan dreams of eating at. Even though he couldn't eat there since he had no money, it was exciting for him see the famous ramen cook of ichiraku, Teuchi. By the time he visited most of the places of Konohagakure, It was already evening.

He went towards the park where most children come to play. He saw a yellow haired boy sitting on the corner of the park all alone while other children didn't even came near him. He obviously knew who the kid was, it was Naruto.

He approached Naruto who was sitting there watching other kids playing, smiling and talking to himself with a sad face. May be lost in thoughts, Naruto didn't even notice him near him.

Seeing Naruto not noticing him, he called out

"Hey there, what are you doing here all alone?"

Naruto was surprised hearing someone called out to him. He turned to Alex to see who was calling out to him. He didn't recognize Alex obviously since Alex rarely went out of orphanage so the face was new to Naruto. Not wanting to be rude to someone talking to him for the first time, he replied solemnly

"Hello, I don't have friends who will play with me"

Alex was a little sad hearing his solemn voice since he knew why he was treated this coldly by everyone and how it wasn't his fault to begin with. To at least have him enjoy a friendship in his childhood, he asked

"Do you want to be my friend then? I am Alex"

Naruto's eyes went wide hearing him since no one has ever asked him to become their friend. He was very happy at this moment

"I would love to be your friend. I am Naruto Uzumaki but aren't you afraid of me" he asked

"Why should I be afraid of you?" questioned Alex

"But all the people say that I am a fox and shouldn't talk to anyone or they will be cursed" replied Naruto with a face hanging down expecting Alex to be afraid of him as well

"Don't worry about it. As long as you want to be my friend then its fine" he answered not caring about what Naruto said to him

"Do you really want to be my friend?" asked Naruto again to verify what he said was true

"Yes" replied Alex coolly

"Yatta" shouted Naruto jumping with fist pumped into the sky happy to make a friend to himself

Alex just stood there smiling at Naruto who was jumping happily. A lot of other children stared at them but ignored them after just one look.

After calming down, Naruto started talking to Alex about may things including himself while Alex also talked about himself. The two seemed to hit it off since they were both orphans, they decided to be best buddies.

After an hour of talk, they decided to play catch where Alex would run and Naruto would attempt to catch him. Just like that they ran all around the park. Naruto couldn't catch Alex even after he gave his all but he was not sad since he had a friend to play with him.

Alex also wanted Naruto to enjoy himself so he would time to time slow down his speed and allow Naruto to catch him. They played just like that till late in the evening when all the other children went home one by one with their parents. They stayed there watching other children happily walking with their parents.

Since Alex didn't have parents in both his life, he was used to this feeling but Naruto was different matter. He watched all the happy smiles of other children when their parents came to take them home. He just watched with a sad face.

Deciding to break the ice, Alex said "Don't worry about others. If you want why don't you call me big brother? I will be your family"

Naruto was obviously happy to hear such words so he nodded happily "Seriously, yay!"

Naruto hugged Alex tightly not letting go. But Alex could feel wetness on his clothes and knew Naruto was crying. He let him cry all he wanted. He knew how Naruto felt after all. He also wanted a family in his previous life but could only watch the happy smiles of other children from the orphanage window.

After some time, Naruto finally fell asleep with the warmth he felt for the first time since birth. Alex didn't know what to do but just as he was about to carry him towards his house, an anbu came and asked

"Let me take him to his house"

Alex didn't question the anbu and handed Naruto to her since he knew that the anbu named Yugao before him was in charge of protecting Naruto and keep an eye on him. He also knew that Yugao always took good care of Naruto from the shadows even though she never showed herself in front of Naruto.
