48 Letter

"Oh wait, maybe there is something in the starter package. You never opened it. Do you want to see?" she asked with a sudden realization

"Really" he asked excited

"Yeah, you bought the powers and bloodlines then you went to explore the village but you never opened the starter package given by the god. It is in the vault of the mansion" she said excited as well

"Let's open it then" he said

"OK" she replied as she brought a box that looked like a chest with a flick of her finger.

The box was golden and was protected by an enchantment that would only open under his command and nothing else

"UNLOCK" he said as instructed

The box slowly opened as it recognized the voice of Alex showing a little porcelain bottle which contained the red liquid, a letter and a ring which was giving off an unnatural glow

His eyes lingered at the ring for a while as he looked at the liquid which looked like a normal liquid but knew that it could not be that simple since it was god who gave it

Finally his eyes landed on the letter wrapped in a red ribbon. He got excited as he saw this since there was a chance of answers to all his questions.

He took the letter out of the box slowly unwrapping the ribbon and opening the fold as a piece of paper revealed itself which was made out of unknown material but was blinking black and white as of undecided which color to take.

He unfolded the paper and there was a glow which enveloped him as the paper burned and all its contents flashed directly into his mind.

He could feel as if the god himself was looking at him at this moment as he felt his presence on the contents shown.

"Hello there Alex,

I hope that you have been safely reincarnated on the world that you desired. I know you want to enjoy your life rather than hearing from this old god after you got the power to enjoy your desire but the thing I am going to tell you is very important.

Let me start with the history of the universe, You being from earth may think that the universe originated after a singular mass exploded which created different types of gases combined created starts and planes and other objects which is true for you earthlings but what you don't know is how that singular mass came to existence. Let me tell you that before the singular mass was even created, there were already living being and they were all equivalent to me an existence of god. They all inherited the sin which you could recognize as sin of pride, greed, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony, and sloth. They were all alone and bored as they had nowhere to release their sin so they created a singular mass with their powers but after it was created, they wanted to control the world that was being created by them.

Even the sin of sloth wanted it to be under its control which eventually leads to a fully fledged fight between them. They fought for countless millennium non-stop as they sought supremacy but what they didn't realize was that there was a higher existence than them who was looking at them all the time and was like their mother who gave birth to them; the Void itself.

The void thought they would stop their fight as it thought it was just some fight between brothers but to its disbelief they fought endlessly as they tried to end the life of one another.

The void was very disappointed by the beings it created so it ended their battle by taking away all the power they got as a sin. They were already weak due to their millennium of fights so after their power got removed, they died instantly with heavy backlash of their power being removed.

The void didn't want the new life that was being created in the form of singular mass sins created to be without supervision so it waited and after the humanity came into existence, he took one of the humans and gave it power to look after the universe and distributed the power of sin to the different corner of the universe.

He ordered the human he chose to search for the power of sin so that the human could experience the pain in searching the powers and all the frustrations and enlightenment during that time so when the human gets his powers, he would appreciate it and not take it for granted.

There have been 7 humans that searched for the power of sins but they couldn't find the single one. I am the eighth human and after all the time I don't know how long it has been but I was able to find the power of the sin of sloth but my time is coming to its end and the void wants to give the chance for a new one, that would be you.

After your reincarnation, you have billion years to practice the technique that will be given to you and if you can't reach the apex of the technique until that time then you will be erased from existence as incompetent but if you were able to then I will finally be able to rest in peace as my responsibility will land on your shoulder.

I know it's a lot to take in and you may not want to take this responsibility but it is the rule set by the void and you can't refuse them or you will be eliminated instantly.

The technique will be imparted into your mind directly so I hope you will succeed and release me from this burden.

Now that is done, let's get to the things I have given you, there is my blood which will give you the gods bloodline that will allow you to cultivate the technique while the ring is a special weapon that you can change the shape of at will. After you find the sin, you will need to fight its conciousness and show it that you are worthy of being its master and the only way to injure it is using this weapon or the energy you release from the technique you will cultivate.

Also, if you can take my place then I hope you can take over my universe as well. I have few daughters there overseeing their respective worlds while my wives will go with me to the afterlife. I hope you can take good care of them. They will help you in overseeing the world as well.

Now that is out of the way, I will also tell you that the crest I gave you is special and all the humans that are chosen get them. It chooses the queen of the world which means that the crest which changes into the crown will be accepted as the worlds will and will have the control over the world like you have of your own but to take over; she needs to be the strongest of that world.

You as the king also have the control over their world as you sit on the throne but they are overseen by them while you search for the power of sin. All the worlds with the queen are linked to your own and their queen can access the throne room from where they can oversee their respective world.

He finished reading the letter as a flash flew into his mind directly providing him with the technique. The technique was so strong that his mind couldn't handle it causing him to faint and go into coma directly as he slowly absorbed the knowledge.
