6 First day of Academy

Today was the day of the academy and like always Yugao had already started preparing breakfast when he woke up. He took a short morning bath brushed his teeth and went towards the kitchen. Looking at Yugao cooking, he couldn't help himself and got behind her back and hugged her kissing her morning.

She had already detected him so she wasn't surprised and reciprocated his kiss.

"Good morning dear, had a good sleep" she asked enjoying his hug.

"Morning, yeah nothing beats a night of good sleep. How about you?" he responded

"You know how my work goes. I had to go on patrol yesterday night and had hardly any sleep" she replied in a tired tone

"Why didn't you sleep then? I could make breakfast you know." He asked raising his eyebrows

"I know you can make breakfast tastier than mine but I also know that you enjoy my food more than you made yourself. Hahaha" she replied smiling

"Even though I enjoy your food, I don't want you pushing yourself too hard for my sake you know" he said in a little dominating tone

"Yeah yeah I know" she said not minding what he said in the slightest

"Sit sit the breakfast is ready" she said pushing him out of the kitchen wanting to not continue the topic

"Fine" he grunted and went to Naruto's room.

He knew if he didn't wake Naruto up then he will be late for sure. He had already come to like this idiot brother of his and would only think good for him

After 5 minutes of persuasion, Naruto begrudgingly woke up.

He then went to the table where Yugao had already started laying the breakfast in the table and was waiting for them.

He just sat beside Yugao and waited for Naruto to come.

Naruto finally came after a minute with a sleepy look on his face. Even though he had tried to make Naruto wake up early every day, it always ended in failure at a exchange of promise to train with him so Naruto was a lot stronger than in canon.

"Good morning sister-in-law" he said and dug straight into his breakfast unknowing causing Yugao to blush

It was a common practice in this house ever since Naruto found out about their relationship. It was when she was giving him a goodbye kiss on his lips just like always but was caught by Naruto who for whatever reason wanted to get some night air that day.

Since it was true, they accepted it and started the practice of Naruto saying sister-in-law to Yugao instead of big sister.

After they had breakfast, Yugao finished washing the dishes while he helped. Yugao went home to rest for few hours while Naruto and Alex went to the academy.

Along the way, they chatted with each other mostly being Naruto excitedly saying he was going to be the best shinobi and get the position of hokage to get the recognition of all the villagers while he encouraged him saying he will support him all the way

They finally reached the academy where a lot of kids were entering just like themselves. They spotted Ino and Hinata waiting for them outside the academy gate.

They greeted them both and went inside the academy together. Alex in the middle, Ino on the left, Hinata on the right with a little blush on her face sneaking glances at his face and Naruto walking slightly behind

After they entered the classroom, Alex found the seat on the last row while Hinata and Ino followed and sat on either side of him while Naruto was butting heads with Sasuke.

Naruto knew he couldn't match against his big brother so he set his rival as Sasuke and would always argue with him. One of the major motivation for him to train was also because Sasuke was known as a genius and he didn't want to lose to his rival.

He also talked with Ten Ten who was just one row ahead of them. She was a lot tomboyish which caused a lot of boys to neglect her but he liked this bunned headed girl. He quickly made her his friend and started talking as a group of four.

While the students on whole class were creating their groups and talking in groups, Iruka came in lightly coughing to get all students attention.

"Hello students, I am Iruka and I will be your homeroom teacher for next three years. We will learn about history, few jutsu, some close range fighting techniques and kunai handling."

After introducing himself and the courses, he started talking about history and class went on until after some time a bell rang indicating the end of the class.

He motioned us to follow him and led us to the training ground where he organized a tournament to see the abilities of the students.

Alex was to fight first with one of the mob characters to whom he let him show off his skills before he defeated him easily gaining the appreciation of the other.

Iruka was amazed by the skills of Alex but didn't let it show on his face.

"Well done Alex. You have good control over your body and your chakra output" evaluated Iruka

He also did the same to other fighter telling what they did wrong and what they could have done instead.

The fight went on like such Hinata and Ino also winning the fight easily.

The fight became more heated as other students were just average and nearly equal in skills until the final match of the day which just happens to be the fight between Naruto and Sasuke.

There were a lot cheering for Sasuke but none for Naruto since he and the girls just gave him the encouragement before the match and watched silently.

The fight between them was very intense since both were skilled, one being the uchiha genius while other personally trained by him.

After some time they both prepared for final attack both punching each other's face and both being pushed out of the ring causing the match between them to be a tie.

The Instructors watching the match were amazed by the ability Naruto showed since he was known to be a prankster and an idiot but seeing him equally matched to genius of uchiha made them evaluate Naruto highly this time around.

There were some cheers for Naruto being heard after seeing him so strong. he just smiled at Naruto since this idiot of a brother was a pain in the butt to train since he was an idiot but seeing his training paying off, he was very happy as well.

After the injured were treated, the class was ended and they all were allowed to go home or train in the training ground of the academy.

He started walking towards his usual spot with Hinata and Ino when Ten Ten called him. He waited her to talk.

"Hey Alex, You are so strong; Can you train me as well?" she asked

"Sure, come along we were going to our training spot just now" he replied smiling at his luck getting a new girl who will obviously fall in love with him over the years being near him.

So the four headed to the training spot of Alex which would become the love nest for the four by the end of the academy
