"Hmm, so that means they probably don't taste outstanding," I said as I took another large bite of the pizza.
"I don't think it matters if you think it takes good."
"Fair point; we should get some sleep after we finish eating; tomorrow will be a long day."
That was an understatement; while I could push Maine's death back until I could deal with it, the race was tomorrow. Six-thousand people would be waiting at the starting line with us. Each one is ready to kill for the prize but more likely to die before they get the chance.
