Chapter 4 Bathtub R18

"Alright, Ego," she said, stepping back to give him some privacy. "I'll wait for you here. Take your time and relax."

Ego acknowledged her with a grateful smile and began to undress. As he removed his clothes, he couldn't help but reflect on the incredible journey he had embarked upon. Just a short while ago, he had been tormented in his old life, and now he was in a magical realm, surrounded by beauty and mystique.

Naked, Ego carefully stepped into the tub, feeling the warmth envelop his body. It was a moment of tranquility amidst the whirlwind of changes he had experienced. He closed his eyes, allowing the water to soothe his aching muscles.

However, as he started to relax, a sudden, sharp pain shot through his shoulder. Ego's eyes flew open, and he gasped, his body tensing in agony. He couldn't understand where the pain was coming from; it seemed to radiate from his very core.

The pain intensified, causing Ego to cry out in distress. His voice echoed through the room, reaching Lysandra's ears in the adjacent room. Without a moment's hesitation, she rushed to the bathroom, concern etched across her face.

"Ego, what's happening?" she exclaimed, her eyes widening in alarm as she saw him clutching his shoulder, his face contorted in pain.

Ego struggled to speak through the torment. "I... I don't know. It's like... like something's inside me."

Lysandra's brow furrowed in worry. She knelt beside the tub, placing a hand gently on his shoulder, her touch soothing despite the pain. "Try to breathe, Ego. We'll figure this out."

The pain gradually began to ebb, leaving Ego panting and disoriented. He could still feel a lingering discomfort in his shoulder, but it was no longer excruciating.

Lysandra's eyes searched his face, concern etched across her features. "I'm sorry you have to go through so much, and I wasn't there to help," she whispered, her voice filled with empathy.

Ego's lips curved into a small, appreciative smile as he leaned back in the warm bathwater, grateful for her understanding. "It means a lot to hear that, Lysandra."

As if to lighten the mood, Lysandra reached for the frothy bubbles in the tub, cupping them in her hands and then playfully blowing them in Ego's direction. Some bubbles landed on his face, and he blinked in surprise.

Ego turned to her, a hint of laughter in his eyes. "Why did you do that?"

Lysandra giggled, her eyes sparkling mischievously. "I don't know; I just needed to do something funny."

Ego's playful side surfaced as he decided to reciprocate. "Ooh! I can do funny," he said, with a sly grin. He grabbed Lysandra's hand and pulled her into the bathtub with him.

Laughter filled the room as they began a playful battle of splashing and throwing bubbles at each other. The warm water and bubbles created a soothing atmosphere, erasing the weight of the world from their minds, if only for a while.

They splashed and laughed, their playful antics echoing through the bathroom. Ego couldn't remember the last time he felt so carefree, not even in his past life. As they continued their watery battle, time seemed to slow down, and he found himself captivated by Lysandra.

Her wet clothes clung to her, emphasizing her graceful curves and her wet hair framed her face like a dark, shimmering halo. Ego's gaze traced her features, taking in every detail. He couldn't deny the attraction he felt, but he also appreciated her as a friend and confidante.

In one of those unscripted moments, Lysandra's hand brushed against Ego's leg in the midst of their playful frenzy. She gasped softly and pulled her hand back, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to—"

Ego, his heart pounding, interrupted her with a gentle touch on her cheek. "It's okay, Lysandra," he said, his voice barely a whisper. "Sometimes accidents happen."

Lysandra's eyes met his, her expression a mixture of surprise and uncertainty. "What are you doing, Ego?"

Ego's thumb brushed lightly against her cheek, and he drew her closer until their faces were just inches apart. "I'm not sure," he admitted, his voice husky with desire. "But I've been holding back for too long."

Their lips met in a soft, tentative kiss, the warmth of the water surrounding them as they explored this new and unexpected connection.

However, Lysandra suddenly pushed Ego back, her eyes wide with surprise and confusion. "What was the meaning of that, Ego? Why would you do such a thing with your childhood friend?" Her voice held a mix of shock and concern.

Ego, a hint of regret in his eyes, moved closer and reached out to gently cup her cheek. "Lysandra, I... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make things awkward. It's just that... well, I've come to develop feelings, I mean who wouldn't? Look at you for a moment, I want something more than friendship with you."

Lysandra's expression softened, and she gazed at him, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "Ego, I value our friendship, but this is so unexpected. I need time to process this."

Ego nodded understandingly. "Of course, take all the time you need. I don't want to jeopardize what we have."

Lysandra began to get out of the bathtub, wrapping a towel around herself. "Well, I can see you hurt your head pretty bad, and that might explain this behavior of yours. So, I will leave now and see you later when things aren't so... complicated."

Just as she was about to leave, there was a sudden, loud knock on the bathroom door. Startled, both Ego and Lysandra turned their attention to the door, their hearts racing.
