The inside of the pavilion looks neat, but not really high class. There are plenty of chairs and tables but there are no people sitting down, it's probably a restaurant for the people staying in the inn.

We enter it. The room is rectangular, there is one big bed and on the inner side a desk and 2 chairs. The wooden window is near the chairs. I put my luggage on the desk.

"There is a closet to the right. The bottom-shelf is self locking so please don't leave your valuables outside. Employees clean the room once a day around noon. If you need washing done, please ask an employee. Please keep your keys at the front door when you go out. The room number here is 517"

Said the innkeeper and opens a sliding door wall to reveal an equipment closet. He then hands the key to me and leaves.

"I understand"

"Please enjoy your stay"

I sit on the bed, it doesn't feel that soft. I take a look at the room, while Roxanne is standing near the entrance with nothing to do.

"For now why don't you put aside your luggage and sit down"

"Y-es"

I look at Roxanne as she puts aside her case and comes in front of me and then to my shock sits down on the floor.

"No no you don't have to sit there, sit here beside me on the bed"

I take her hand, pull her up and make her sit by my side.

"B-but this is your bed"

"From today it is your bed too, you will also sleep on it with me"

I take her palm in my hands. Her skin is so soft, so white. I intertwine our fingers and keep it like that.

"I will join you when I receive affection, but I don't mind sleeping on the floor"

I keep hugging her with one hand and I put the other on her head. Even from the side she looks so beautiful . Her hair smoothly glides through my fingers. It is very soft and luxurious.

I have never played with a woman's hair before, never knew that it felt so nice. Then I touched her dog ears, they twitched when I touched them. They are so large and soft, they lay there dangling powerlessly, their thickness must be 1 or 2 cm.

They are lop ears so there is no hard part in them, just fluffy and soft.

I speak a bit huskily. She shyly keeps her eyes closed. I look down and I see them, so big, so powerful, I just want to grab them. Not good I will lose control this way.

I take a deep breath and calm myself down.

"Master's master died to awaken something?"

Roxanne asks me, trying to seriously digest and understand what I just said.

"Yes awaken my powers"

"Like skills?"

"Yes, very unique skills, which only I have. And as time passes by, I will unlock more powers, more unique skills"

Roxanne ponders on something. She genuinely seems to be trying, that is good.

I place my hand in front of me, then move my bonus point from the 35% discount to Durandal and Durandal appears in my hands.

"Wow Master! Did you use the Item box without a chant?"

I remove 15 points from Required exp ( 1 / 5) skill and then add one point to activate a unique skill from my extra skills, Incantation shortening and then add another 2 points to turn that skill into Incantation Omission.

Then I thought of using the Item box, it's a skill from the Explorer job which I recently got.

Suddenly a square entrance to an Item box appeared underneath my left hand.

"Master, you really can use the Item box without a chant!"

"I told you, I have some unique powers. With time I will show you more of my powers as they unlock"

I unequip Durandal and remove the item box with a wave of my hand. Then I take Roxanne's soft hands again.

"Roxanne, you are the only person who knows about all of this. So keep it a secret okay? You can't tell anyone about my powers"

Seeing her looking at me seriously, I feel a bit bad about fooling her with a BS story like this. This kind of ancient bloodline power fantasy stories were found in every chinese cultivation novel.

But noble clans hold the real power in this world, so this story would be easier to accept than anything else. I don't want to keep them in the dark about my powers as the og Michio did.
