Chapter #06: Kale vs Ijin

After the fight Ijin had with Blake, Kale had grown very fond of Ijin, he had witnessed Ijin progressing through the school's hierarchy system. He had knocked off two decent fighters among the first years even though they were still very weak compared to Kale.

Kale began to study Ijin. He tracked everything Ijin did including, his fighting patterns, his daily routines at school and who he even hung out with. He wasn't stalking Ijin but rather Analyzing him. Kale knew that soon that Ijin was going to come after him.

Although they were in class, Kale was staring at Ijin with a cold glare. Ijin could feel the pressure that Kale was putting on him. He knew that Kale had been tracking him. Even though he attempted to shake Kale off his back and cease his "Stalking" he never could. After a while Ijin got used to it because he realized that Kale had only did these things in school and never outside of school.

This meant that Ijin only had to endure this in school. Ijin had tried to analyze things about Kale but he didn't really find out much about him but his stats.

Ijin had glanced back at Kale and was meant with a cold & emotionless gaze, even though Kale's gaze had made Ijin's body tense he tried his best to ignore it and use his "Inspect" skill to see what Kale's stats were.

"Holy shit, I see why Blake was scared of him, Kale is a fucking beast. How the hell is he stats this high. He even has me beat in speed, I've been working on speed for weeks and it's only at 26 points. If Kale was this strong, how strong was Shinji?!" Ijin said nervously.

Ijin had was praying that the system didn't give him a quest to engage in combat with Kale, but Ijin had forget one critical thing if they were to fight.

After a few moments, Kale had changed the direction of his gaze elsewhere. Ijin was still in shock from Kale's stats. Even though he was used to getting beat up, for the first time in months he was truly terrified of someone. Ijin was very curios about Shinji's stats.

A few minutes had passed and Ijin had gotten a notification from his phone. Before grabbing the phone out of pocket he had started to pray to a god he never believed in that it wasn't a quest to fight Kale.

Ijin began contemplating what he was going to do. He had noticed a number of new things that had popped up with this quest, it was his first main quest, and for the first time out of all the quest that he had there was a time limit on this one. At first he thought it was because it was a Main quest. He stuck with this. Then he noticed that the time was a little over before they got out. Before Ijin knew it, the bell had rung for break.

Kale could tell that something was up with Ijin. Lucky for Ijin he didn't need to do anything to provoke Kale, he had finished Analyzing Ijin, so he didn't need a reason to wait anymore. He was eager to fight Ijin after he had witnessed the fight with him and Blake.

It was now time for the students break. Everyone had turned their attention to the back of the class. This was the first time that they had heard the boy's voice in months.

"Yo Ijin, do you mind sparring with me? It doesn't really matter where we fight. We can fight here for all I care." Kale said calmly.

"I don't really feel like fighting right now could we do this some other time?" Ijin had already decided that he was going to fail this quest it was impossible.

Before Ijin could even turn around Kale had already rushed in towards Ijin and punched him in the stomach. Even though Ijin still had Kale in his sight, he couldn't see a single movement that Kale had made. Ijin felt a very sharp pain in his stomach he was holding on to his stomach trying to stop the pain he was feeling.

The moment Ijin had crouched over he was met with an uppercut. It felt like he had been hit the a boulder. If the punch was coming from below Ijin had all the time to dodge it, but once again he couldn't see the punch yet again.

After the two punches that Ijin had been hit with he was holding on to his consciousness, doing everything in his power to not past out. Ijin was now back on his feet from the uppercut, he was tumbling over, even with 2 punches it clear as day that Ijin had suffered a lot of damage.

Everyone in the classroom had thought that this was the end of Ijin's win streak that he has been on. Kale had hit Ijin with yet another punch but this time it was dead center in the middle of Ijin's face.

On impact Ijin had passed out from the punch. Kale had high hopes for Ijin and so did everyone else. But after the last punch all the tension in the room had instantly lowered itself and Kale was headed back to his seat.

Before Kale had reaches his seat he could feel that he was being watched by everyone and he could feel an aura that he never had felt before. This was the second time since coming to Hanlim High that Kale had felt absolute fear. The only time he had felt fear similar to this is when he had saw one of Shinji's fights up close. But even that didn't compare to the fear that he was feeling now.

Everyone in the classroom could feel the same emotion that Kale was feeling, "Terror." They felt like the atmosphere alone was going to tear them apart.

The thing that scared Kale the most is that he never even felt this type of feeling not even from Shinji.

The classroom also begin to notice that Ijin had grown taller and looked a lot more handsome. Just a few moments ago Ijin was 6'1 but now it seemed like he was 7'3, they felt like ants preparing to be stepped on by a Giant.

Even though everyone in the classroom could clearly see that Ijin was right there, they also saw him vanish into thin air. The only thing they could see in a matter of seconds was that Kale was laid out on the ground with bruises all over his body, he was surrounded by a pool of blood. It looked like every bone in his body had been shattered. Ijin had accurately, hit every vital point in Kale's body without hesitation.

Ijin then turned his head towards the student's in the classroom, the only thing they could see on Ijin's face was an emotionless expression, along with his two midnight black pupils that only came out in UI. They didn't know this though.

After completing his objective in UI, Ijin collapsed on to the ground and had awoken a few moments later to see Kale laying in a pool of his own blood, and the Horror on all of the student's faces who had witnessed the scene.
