Chapter 36: Dungeon of Truth 2

*Panting*

The whole room trembles as I fight with the bear.

Each of our clashes creates tremendous sparks and gusts of winds. I keep moving on and attacking until a certain gauge to be full.

I couldn't feel the wounds I'm having right now as I clash with the polar bear who didn't speak. Not that he will speak since in the first place, he can't speak. But he communicates with us due to telepathy. And if I may say, he sure talks a lot.

{{Are you angry?}} the bear asked.

I'm angry?

That's right. I feel so mad right now.

I didn't answer him with words as I continue to rain him with his attacks.

Is it because Frea almost die? No. Then is it because she lied, that she wanted to live?

Since the first time I met her, she is always smiling. She reminds me a lot of a certain idiot.

Then maybe because she remind me of her, that's why I'm being like this.

The huge golem polar bear, dropped on the floor creating a thud sound and the whole floor trembles.

The title that is given to those who slay monsters. And the one that I don't want to have.

I guess, I'm trying so hard to be like Rey. Doing things, that I thought I could do just because I know the events. But in truth, he is him and I am me. No matter what I do, I can't do the same things he did confidently. We are entirely different with each other. Maybe, that is also the reason that I don't want to stick with him? And sticking with this guys instead? The same people, who have no relations with the novel at all.

"Via, are you ok?" I look to see Dina heading in my direction.

"Yes," I said with indifference with my tone.

"About what happened back in the Rey's base." Dina looks sideways.

"No need to worry about that, just take care of those two sleepy heads there," I said as I turn my back on her and started to walk away.

"Shall we go now?" Mira reappeared on my side.

"Where are you when I'm fighting?" I cross both of my arms and look at her clearly annoyed.

Mira shrugs both her shoulder. "Watching," she said nonchalantly.

I gave her a skeptical look.

"I only said that I would prevent you from dying. And none of those sorts happened," she said and we halt on our steps.

We are on the outside of the room now.

"Just teleport us already to the final floor" I said. I already felt tired doing all of this and just want to finish it all.

"Hai!" Mira then starts chanting some words that I don't understand again and the next thing I knew, I was now standing in front of a huge dark door.

On the top of the door, there are red glowing characters of 100th on it.

The final boss of the dungeon floor is beside this room.

|||"The truth about is because of your selfishness. You were not able to do anything as you watch those close to you die and the world you originally live got destroyed."

The Final Boss of the Dungeon of Truth spat out all those words to Argaux as soon as he step inside the room. This is the 16th transmigration of Argaux on Earth - J.O.E|||

Instead of questions given from floor 1-99 of the Dungeon of Truth, in the final floor, what the dungeon boss would give you is all about the truth about you, both good and the bad. And some things you don't even want to find out.

Once I step in this door, would the fact that I know the story of this world would be revealed?

"The other items will follow suit, after I defeat the boss..." Mira wanted to retort, but it is too late as the final dungeon door opened...

That is the first thing I heard as I step inside the room...

"And that truth would only remain here since I will kill you."

A burst of booming laughter echoed through the whole room.

The battle to keep the truth now begins...
