2 CHAPTER II: The investigation begins

Lyndon's POV:

"So, i think it's just us. It is already 7 pm but no one showed up. I guess we should start it even without them." I said,

"Let's still wait for 5 more minutes if they will not show up then we'll start." Benny replied.

"Ok" I just simply replied and we waited for 5 more minutes. "5 minutes is done. Let's go, benz." Then i walk towards the gate of the school.

"Hey! Wait for me!" He followed me but before we enter the school someone from behind shouted our names.

"Lyndon! Benny!" A voice from behind shouted so, we turned to see if who is the person calling us and we saw zy.

"You're late bitch!" I greeted her.

"What? You called me bitch!?" I just turned my back on her and continue walking. She rushed towards me but benny stopped her "chill! Relax, zy!"

"Relax? He was the one who started it! That bastard!"

"He is just mad because everyone is late." Benny explained.

"Hey! Are you two coming or not?" I said angrily "you did not come here for a chat! Don't forget the reason why you're here!"

"Ok! Coming!" Benny replied. He looked at zy like he was saying c'mon. So, zy followed us but before we entered the school somebody called us again. So we turned to see if whose voice was that. We saw Trina, kyriel, mariel, rigene and zyian. We waited for them at the gate.

"Why were you guys late?" I asked them when they got closed " Uhmmm... Sorry!" Zyian apologized when i saw her eyes i just melted so i just ignored them.

I gathered them and told them the plan "okay everyone, here's the plan... We will find the body of Stephen. I am sure that they can't dispose it so fast. They just hid it somewhere here in the campus."

"After we found the body? Do you have already a plan?" Mariel asked.

"Yeah! I have!" I simply replied to her

"Ok! And anyway i love ghost hunting!" She added and we all looked at her "we are not hunting any ghost here mariel! We are here for investigation!" Zyian explained

"Oh! Yeah! Right! Investigation!" Mariel laughed "...but isn't it the same? Investigation and ghost hunting??"

"Ghost hunting??? Can i just go home?" Kyriel exclaimed! They are my classmates. Mariel Arandia. She is really into ghost hunting! She loves paranormal activities. Kyriel Aguilar. He is the coward among us. He is the opposite of mariel.

"Relax! We are not going to hunt a ghost!" Rigene grabbed his shoulder. "Just relax" And yeah! He calmed . Thanks to Rigene. Rigene Fermiza. She is also my classmate. She is really into superstitious beliefs. It is like everything you do she has a belief that will connect to that. That's her.

"So many mosquitoes in here!" Trina complained "aren't we gonna start this investigation?" She added. She is trina, she is the most fastidious amng the girls.

"I think, i know where to start" Rigene caught our attention. "Where!?" We asked.

"I think we should ask him about stephen's body." She pointed to a dark part of the campus and we all looked there but we saw nothing.

"Ask who, gene?" I replied. "He was just there... He was standing there. I know!" She insisted

"But we saw nothing gene." Zyian followed up "no! He was there!" She went where she saw the man.

"Wait up! I'll come with you!" Mariel said so they both went there.

"Isn't it dangerous??" Zyian is now worried for her friends. "Yes! It is. But they chose it." I answered "the only thing that we could do for them... Is to pray that nothing will happen to them."

"Oh! No! We should follow them" Trina exclaimed

"No one will follow them! We're here because we are going to investigate the death of our friend so for now, that doesn't matter." I insisted

"But we could lose them too if we are not going to follow them." Zyian is now crying. I was about to comfort her but benny got closed to her first so, i just stood back and watch benny while comforting zyian.

"Let's go inside. We are wasting time here." I said in a calm voice and we all get inside. "We're here now. The first thing that we will do is to search for stephen's body. We will start with this building." I was pointing to a building they called aquabest. The biggest building in the campus. "Let's go search!"

We are about to enter the aquabest when we noticed someone coming out from that building. It was very dark that is why we can't recognized who is that person. We are all now got scared coz we never expected that there is some other person here. We all stepped backward. "Oh no! We're dead" Trina whispered to us.

"No! Just relax!" And we turned to the person who spoke "rick??" I was schocked that he's here

"Yeah! It's me.! Wait, i'll check out who is that person."

"We're glad you're here!" Trina said and he just looked at her then continue to walk towards the gate of the building.

When he reached the gate.... What a relief! It's just howell. "Oh! Hi guys! Did i scare you?" He asked while smiling.

"Yeah! You bastard!" Zy shouted " Are you dumb?? Are you gonna kill us! Asshole!"

"So, you were already here?." I asked him gently.

"Yeah!"

"What did you find? You found something?" I asked again---

"Oh yeah! I found this." Then he handed over the syringe

"Where'd you found this?"

"Beside the stairs where we saw his body earlier in school."

I was thinking why would a syringe would be there at the crime scene if it was a suicide??? "Hey, zyian! Check this out!" I threw her the syringe and benny caught it.

"What's with this?" Benny asked then he gave the syringe to zyian.

"I just noticed that there is still a little bit of substance inside if we could just check it in the laboratory." I explained

"But it's close! How could we get in?" Zyian asked.

"Simple!" I looked at them "We'll break in!"
