83 You were adopted in the orphanage!!

Xin Mei looked at her and Su Yuchen's photo on her marriage certificate. Standing shoulder to shoulder with one another, they both weren't looking any less than a perfect couple.

Their smiles were identical, eyes were shining with the same glow, they were looking like a couple made in heaven.

"Don't we look good together?" Su Yuchen, who was sitting beside her in the car, leaned towards her. He couldn't stop himself from praising their photo.

They both were looking very good together. He was also feeling happy upon seeing her name written next to his. She finally belonged to him.

"Su Yuchen, where should we go now my house or hospital?" Xin Mei questioned, she shifted on her seat to maintain a distance in-between them.

"Don't run from me, my wife." Su Yuchen rebuked her and shifted closer to her. "We should start getting closer to one another. We are to make our marriage successful and for that, we need to enter each other's intimate area."

Su Yuchen took her hand and interviewed it with his own. He liked the way her small hand-fitted in his large hand.

"I am not going to leave you." He looked at her eyes with a lot of sincerity. Xin Mei looked at his hypnotizing gaze and felt something moving in her.

"I was asking you something." her voice sounded throaty because her throat had turned dry with his penetrating gaze.

"First, we are going to your house. It is the rest time of grandma. I wouldn't like to disturb her."

Xin Mei nodded her head and tried to take her hand away from his but he tightened the hold.

"Don't try to separate it from my hand. I am not going to leave you." He looked at her with serious eyes. Xin Mei couldn't help herself from nodding like an obedient child.

They completed their small journey to her house in within few minutes. Xin Mei sighed when Huang Chu opened the car door for her. She was feeling suffocated in the proximity of Su Yuchen. She wasn't habitual to it.

Once they were off the car, Su Yuchen left her hand. Instead, he wrapped his arm around her shoulder and pulled her closer. Xin Mei could only look at him with wide eyes.

Su Yuchen smiled when he saw her expression she acted like a bird trapped in a cage. He could see her brain running, trying to find a way to be away from him.

"Su Yuchen, Xin Mei." Her mother greeted the couple with enthusiasm. She happily showed them the way inside the house. "I am so happy for both of you."

He Lin was smiling from ears to ears. She felt happy that her daughter had found a man like Su Yuchen. She could say that this boy admired her daughter a lot and would always protect her.

"Su Yuchen, Xiao Mei, why are you standing at the door? Come inside." She took both of them inside the house while calling for her husband and son.

"Xin Jin, Xin Yan, Xiao Mei is here with her husband."

Xin Jin came out from his study and smiled when he saw Su Yuchen. He couldn't help himself from hugging him.

"Remember your promises which you have done with me, last night. Take good care of Xiao Mei otherwise no one will be worse than me."

"Don't worry father. I will always take care of Xiao Mei. She is now my responsibility. You can rest in peace about her."

Su Yuchen smiled and looked at his wife who was talking with her mother. A smile appeared on his lips and his eyes became filled with warmth. Xin Jin smiled when he saw the look on the face of Su Yuchen. He knew it was the same look with which he saw his wife.

Somewhere, Xin Jin was guilty that he had to marry off his daughter, at such a young age because of his business. But his all guilt vanished when he saw Su Yuchen. Su Yuchen was the perfect husband for his daughter. He would have been a fool to loss such a brilliant son in law.

"Mother, please don't be sad. We both will live in the same city. You can come to meet me, whenever you want and I will come to meet you at your single call." Xin Mei consoled her mother. He Lin was a little sad for being parted away from her daughter.

"Who is sad that you are going away?" Xin Yan asked and slapped on his sister's head. "We aren't sad. Why would we be sad that you are going away? We had adopted your from the orphanage after all."

Xin Yan grinned with teasing smile on his lips. His eyes danced with humour upon seeing the irritated expression on her face.

"Stop teasing my gege. I wasn't adopted but it was you whom mother and father had found in the dustbin." Xin Mei countered back.

"No, you were adopted in the orphanage."

"No, you were found in a dustbin."

They both fought and teased one another like five-year-old kids. They were having their sibling's time where Su Yuchen was feeling uncomfortable upon hearing the word orphan and orphanage.

"Both of you, stop fighting. What will Su Yuchen think about both of you?" He Lin chided her children and pushed both of them apart.

"Don't mind them they both always fight like this." Xin Jin chuckled and stood beside Su Yuchen. "They love to fight and tease one another. This house will become silent when you will take Xin Mei away. I don't know how Xin Yan will come up with the absence of his sister."

There was sadness in the eyes of Xin Jin when he looked at his daughter. It was going to be tough for him to send her off.

"Don't worry father, you, mother and Xin Yan can come to meet her whenever you want. Our house will be always opened for you. Xin Mei isn't going away from you."

Xin Jin smiled and patted on the back of Su Yuchen.

He then directed everyone to the dining table which was covered with various varieties of food. Su Yuchen also called Huang Chu who delivered the wedding gifts from the side of the Su family.

They had their lunch over laughter and chat Xin Jin and Xin Yan were warning Su Yuchen to take full care of Xin Mei where He Lin was advising Xin Mei to be a dutiful wife to Su Yuchen.

"Xiao Mei, you are no longer our daughter but you are the wife of Su Yuchen and you have to act like one. You are to spend the rest of your life with him. Give him your respect and gain respect from him in return."

"Don't worry mother, I remember your lessons. I will become a wife to Su Yuchen the way you are to father. I will always support him, whether it is in good or bad."

The married couple spent their time till the evening in Xin residence. It was late in the evening when Su Yuchen informed that they should leave as they had yet to meet his grandparents.

Over a lot of tears and promises to meet each other often and call one another each day, Xin Mei was sent off with Su Yuchen. He Lin and Xin Jin didn't lag in gifting many things to her which would be directly transferred at the house of Su Yuchen.
